I have lived here almost five years, and I cannot imagine a better situation. Secure parking, high ceilings, friendly neighbors and leasing staff, and such convenience to businesses and restaurants. I could wish for a more updated landscaping appearance/outdoor furniture, but overall, I remain happy!

Management has gone way down hill since May 2024 that a group of 10+ other residents and I are trying to get out of our leases. It is an older property that needs repairs which can be understandable if management actually did something about it. But the issue is THERE IS NOBODY in the leasing office EVER to help resolve our issues. Leasing employees manage multiple locations so there will be days that nobody is here which is crazy! Recently management created a system where you can make appointments to meet with them. Myself and several others have made appointments, showed up to the office, and nobody was there! Some of the issues with the property: common area space not maintained or unkept, fire alarms going off constantly (at least once a week) with no prior warning, power goes out frequently with little to no warning, parking garage gate is broken pretty much every week so it is left open which has lead to non-residents coming on the property and trashing the place or pulling the fire alarm, the mailroom lockers break often so packages are left out in the open and sometimes stolen, gym equipment is broken and not replaced, I don't think the pool has ever been cleaned, dog pee and poop left around property, the hallways had a lot of mold on the walls but that was painted over with new paint last summer, pipes bursting flooding several floors in building 4, and the leasing office staff are never available to help us and a lot of times don't respond to emails. Now, I will say the maintenance staff are really nice and do try their very best. But there are so many issues that a lot of times they are just putting bandaids on items instead of really fixing things. Rent is inflated due to the great and safe location but there are other properties close by that charge less by the sqft and are managed better.

I have loved every moment of my stay here thus far (about a month), from the time Jared gave me my first tour to the process of securing my unit and getting the keys! Generally a nice community to live however I chose to move here two years ago versus others I looked at due to price and in a few months it will have gone up almost a total of $500. It affects everything for the worst. Generally the community is clean which I appreciate although too often, people just drop entire fast food meals in a parking lot, in the doorway leading to the breezeway and never pick it up and it may stay there for days. I also think we should be able to opt out of trash valet. Office staff is always friendly and helpful when they can be which I appreciate.

Generally, a good place to live with the convenience of your nearby shopping stores. I have enjoyed the insulation and layout of the apartment especially during my stay. Additionally, the rent has been satisfactory so far for what the unit provides.

The high ceilings and arched design of the units interior are nice. My former complex was actually luxury with updated appliances that functioned properly. The follow up with the leasing office and residents could be better. While filling out my walk-through form the day I moved in, I knew I made a mistake of making the final decision of living here. I really do not like living here.

Constant fire alarms

Among the many issues I have, the fire alarm goes off all the time. And it’s never due to a fire. Today it went off for over an hour on Christmas Eve. No one even leaves their apartment at this point because it’s always a false alarm. They have created a boy who cried wolf and people are going to be hurt if there’s ever a real fire. They have to fix this.

The safety of our residents is our top priority, and it is very important that residents exit the building any time the fire alarm sounds. If the fire department determines it to be a false alarm, a member of our service team or management team will announce that you can re-enter the building. Part of providing exceptional customer service to our residents involves communication. You can expect to receive an email notification after the fire alarms sound to confirm the cause of the alarm and our response. Due to the extreme winter weather, our community experienced sprinkler line disruption that activated the alarms on Christmas Eve. Our team responded promptly to address this urgent event and is continuing to work with affected residents. We regret that your experience at Windsor Chastain has been anything short of exceptional, and we would like the opportunity to speak with you to better understand your concerns. The relationship with the leasing agent was pleasant and inviting BUT my apartment has not been cleaned prior to my moving. Appliances were not cleaned some were not working. It took more than a week, many calls and emails to get the issues resolved. I felt disrespected and a lack of interest given to me as a new resident settling in to this new community.
