This really is not the place you want to rent. Here is why: trash chutes are always broken so you have trash smell in the hallways and the trash rooms are stinky bacteria laden rooms (you pay a high rent for this stink); Fairfax corner sound like a great place to live however due to the restaurants and businesses you will be awaken starting at 5:30am with trucks bringing supplies and all the clanking going on; there are always some technical difficulties (constant e-mails with technical difficulties of some sort); walls are thin to the point you hear your neighbor sneezing, running water, flushing the toilet and other noises; the building is not kept clean and at least on my floor they vacuum the hallways maybe once a month; they are supposed to do regular maintenance every 3 months but seems like it is every 6 months or even less which makes you wonder what else is not being maintained well; garage hands brake down constantly and I heard that they did not even have them working for over a year and they still apparently charged a $100 dollar garage fee; package system is yet another issue. They do not let you know that you have a package, very frequently your package is put into someone else's amazon box, your mail box number is not your apartment number (apparently for safety and I am still wondering what safety measure it is since only the mailman delivers mail to the boxes) and the mailman still gets confused and puts mail in the wrong box. I had to take someone else's mail to them 5 times. The appliances are cheap and always have a problem. It seems this building was built with cheap materials and the cheapest workmanship (which is evident in the apartments) and that makes me question the safety of the building. The management is nice and friendly but I am not sure they are equipped or organized enough to run this building. smoothly. Most of the time they are confused. We will not renew our rent after the one year lease we signed.

I just recently moved into Vista Fairfax Corner. The experience was very easy, and the apartment was spotless when we moved in. The staff were amazing throughout the entire process. Fairfax corner is located in a great location, right in the center, close to I66 and fairfax county parkway. The area is safe, and fun and the building is beautiful. The staff are great and plan fun activities for residents.

I moved in a week and a half ago. So far I have been thrilled with my living experience at Vista Fairfax. The apartment itself was in beautiful condition upon arrival. I am really pleased with the quality of cabinets, doors, fixtures and appliances that have been used in the construction of the unit. It feels like a solid place to land after having lived in my own single family home over 20 years. The concierge staff have all been lovely, attentive and available. The maintenance team also seems stellar. I am really happy to be here for the time being and would definitely recommend this complex to friends who are looking for apartment living.

While we've only been residents of Vista Fairfax Corner for a couple of weeks now, the experience so far has been great. The amenities (game room, meeting room, gym, rooftop terrace, etc.) are all really beautiful/functional spaces to spend time without having to leave the building. The staff are super kind and helpful. The location is ideal - walking distance to multiple shops and restaurants and a 5-min drive to Wegmans. All new buildings have their growing pains, but VFC seems to be doing it right.

The walls are very thin, kids were woke up in the middle of the night, and heard neighbors' putting down their toilet ring in the middle of the night. Not recommended with such price.
