Like the name implies, this district is home to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Although this neighborhood is a clear choice for students, faculty, and staff, the University District offers allure far beyond the campus. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping options. Boulevard Mall offers over 100 stores selling everything from candles to shoes to candy. There is also an abundance of entertainment available within or near the community.

I moved in in May and I must say they are on top of everything I love the management team and I love how quick they are if anything needs done!! It’s quiet and I’m very happy with choosing the vibe!!
I moved here a couple of months ago and I am so happy I did. The location is great for me as I work on the strip. I love the staff they are so helpful when I need anything! The amenities are great too. Best move I ever made!
I went to a scheduled viewing, showed up on time, couldn't find the leasing office. I called the woman to ask her where it was and she just started to interrogate me about my income and rental history - I have every capability of renting and I can prove it - but she literally just told me I straight up don't qualify. So I didn't even meet her or view the apartment, but the level of rudeness was enough of a red flag to know that this is not the one. Also - there is no pool and the apartments look really run down.
This is my first apartment. Being a UNLV student, sharing a 2 bed room with some friends made it way cheaper than living on campus. The walk to campus is very short. As for the staff, they have been very nice to us and are quick when it comes to maintenance issues. We had a bed bug problem and the complex paid for the exterminator and got them to our apartment quickly. The community is quite and I feel safe here, even though it is not a gated community. I have been living here since 2018 and they have made a lot of improvements to the complex. They have added new amenities and improved the washer/dryers. The only bad thing I can say is that its sometimes hard to find parking, and the apartments were poorly built, so there is often leaking issues. There is also no way to pay rent online, so you have to pay with a check or money order. Otherwise I would recommend living here.

Thing's missing: Pool, dishwasher, microwave, club house, planned events, office hours completely wrong. Thing's ignored: tenets let dogs doo all over, was built in 1963 needs upgrades, false advertising on your site. Thing's present: roaches, animal feces, and unkept "wild" gardens/porch design, most green areas turned in to rock. If this is a step up from your usual living experience this place is great. But if you have owned your own, or have lived in a pest controlled environment be warned.
This has been my first time ever living on my own. Rancho Alvarado is centrally located. Close to the Las Vegas Strip and UNLV. Security and office staff here are always nice. The community itself is always clean and quiet. Ample parking space. Maintenance is usually always quick and efficient. They have made having my first apartment, which can be daunting, be a pleasant experience. Between the nice upgrades in the apartments themselves and the location. It can't be beat
I only pay 650 over paying by at least 300 people come n go alot no grass,no trees the AC can't cool these apts at all i feel stuck living here I'm 66 n i deserve better
