Property Ratings at Verra West
Verra West used to be a nice, quiet, upscale apartment living option. The residents were mostly retirees, single professionals, and new Colorado residents transitioning to a home purchase. Post-COVID, though, the noise, auto break-ins, and number of residents per lease has steadily risen. What used to be well-regulated community rules now simply manifest as unresolved noise, display, and upkeep complaints. Cars come and go at much earlier and later hours, and many are just total beaters that make the property look like a junkyard. The bike stands are an eyesore of rusting, cheap kids bikes with flat tires piled up each other. Noise has increased as garage units have become cluttered, extended living spaces where people socialize, woodwork, and fix their vehicles. And yet the rent steadily rises every year!
For the exorbitant rent I pay here, you would think I would get a working dryer. But I write this review today after living at verra west for 6 months and my dryer still does not work. It is not for my lack of trying either, I have sent in many maintenance requests and every time they tell me my dryer works. Perhaps they would like to wear the "dry" (soaking wet) clothes that come out of the dryer then. Also, The surrounding area is unsafe, your car will be broken in to, your bike will be stolen, etc.
Very Quiet, Beautiful Property. Staff is quick on work orders and takes care of the landscaping. We love out floor to ceiling windows! Highly Recommend!
Loud, overpriced, cheaply built apartments. Verrawest is now cramming multiple adults into single units. Keep in mind up to 8 adults could be coming and going at all hours of the night. Not exactly the "unique, luxury style living" that we were expecting. DO NOT MOVE HERE if you have a family, career, or are in school.
We have really enjoyed our time at VerraWest. These new modern apartments have nice layouts and finishes. The decks are a nice feature as well. The overall complex is very well designed, with great landscaping and amenities. In particular, the pool hot tub with grill, and fire pit are really great. Staff is attentive and very helpful. I highly recommend VerraWest if you are looking for apartments in Longmont, particularly if you work in Boulder.
