The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have lived in my unit for approximately 7 months and every month there has been some type of issue, whether that be garbage disposal, bug infestation, foundation issues, or even a broken AC unit. Even though there were claims of a new AC unit being installed before I moved in..... For the amount of rent that is being charged I would expect the quality of the apartment to meet better standard. I am unable to feel comfortable in my own home because of these issues! The bugs are gross and out of control despite my own preventative measures. In addition, the parking lot of the complex has a huge cargo container which takes up 5 parking spaces, with huge pot holes/ speed bumps that will mess up your car's suspension. I wish I would have known about this lack of quality in the units before deciding to live at the Verge. Please take this review to heart because I would have loved the insight before moving in myself. -A disappointed Resident

Management is the best they go out of their way to accommodate and solve any problems and/or concern. Maintenance works fast and they come the same day to solve it. Also I have gotten multiple emails about pest control coming in and get on the list. Also if you talk to them that you want pest control to go into your apartments weekly, biweekly or monthly they accommodate you because they did it for me.

Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived at! If you like dogs who bark at leaves blowing by, and cockroach infestation, and rude management this is the place for you :) 1. ROACHES 2. When I first moved in I was assured that no cars would be towed during the day even if they weren’t residence, I had gotten a warning for my registration being out a few days prior so of course started parking on the street. My boyfriend works night shift so when he got off at 7 AM, he moved my car inside the gate to fix my flat tire after he got some rest, thinking it would be fine bc like management said, you won’t get towed during the day. When he came out to fix it my car had been towed, on my flat tire, once I get my car I have to fix the tire, and the next day when I take it to the tire shop they say my rim has been cracked. 3. My boyfriend parks on the street, in 5 months he’s had his car shot at twice, and his entire front bumper just got stolen. I’ve seen multiple cars with their whole back window busted out and I’ve seen another car just left on blocks. 4. You have two options to pay your rent, Walmarts money center or pay online with your card. I normally pay at Walmart because the convenience fee is only $3, this weekend I couldn’t make it to Walmart on time before the moneycenter closes, so I just paid online with my card, the “ convenience fee” was $20!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous 5. I have a dog, so i have to pay a pet deposit, no problem. My boyfriend works night shifts at a gas station and takes most of our cash with him because we live in a not so safe area, about a week before rent was due he got robbed and they took almost all of our money, The lady at the front was kind enough to waive all of our late fees after we explained what happened. But we still had to pay our pet deposit which was $300, so she had me pay 200 the first week and 100 the second, unfortunately I’m bad about keeping receipts. So they’re telling me I never paid, so now my $880 rent house now turned to $1016!?! Multiple residents here have told me that this place will suck money out of you any way they can. 6. I sent multiple emails trying to ask Where are the extra $200 was coming from and didn’t hear back for almost a week, whenever I tried to go in to speak to them in the morning or afternoon, which is really the only time that works for me, they don’t open until 10 or they’re conveniently on break, And were still on break when I came back at the time that was posted on the door

We are very sorry to hear that you feel this way. There are several items in your review that are incorrect and we would really like the opportunity to sit down with you in person or speak over the phone. This way we can explain the policies and make sure we are on the same page. We truly believe a lot of your frustration would be resolved with this. We offer pest control and would be happy to have your apartment treated. Not having proper registration is illegal and any tow truck can tow your car for this with or without our permission. If you pay online and use your checking account (not a debit or credit card, but your account number and routing number) there is no fee at all. The fee you are speaking about is charged by your card issuer for the transaction. You can avoid this fee by using your checking account. If we do not have a record of you paying your pet fees and you do not have a record of your pet fees being paid, it would show as still being owed. We do not accept cash payments. As you stated in your review, it is either online payments or a WIPS payment, so we would just need a record or receipt that you made the payment. There are several other items in addition to the above that we would be happy to explain in full detail. This was posted anonymously, so we have no way of reaching out to you directly. We encourage you to please reach out to us by calling (972) 385-1637 or by stopping by the leasing office. We appreciate that you took the time to give your feedback and we hope to hear from you soon.

One word : ROACHES!! And I believe property management is aware of the infestation but hasn't done anything to seriously get rid of them. I had my apartment sprayed and treated several times and nothing worked. I've taken the time to read the reviews on this apt complex and I've seen issues with roaches since 2009. It's funny how the name of the apartment complex has been changed several times. I wonder why.....If I would have been aware prior to moving in I definitely would have looked elsewhere. Honestly they should burn these apartments down and build some new ones. That is how bad my experience was. Just because you slap new paint on the walls and put in new appliances doesn't get rid of the underlying problem(s). I literally saw atleast one roach every day during the last month I was living there. I had to break my lease because I could not take it anymore. No one should have to live under these circumstances. The electricity or water will get cut off without prior notice. The structure of the apartments are not up to par. Hardly any washers or dryers work in the laundry facility. Only one out of the two treadmills work in the fitness center. The filter for the water fountain was never changed. Maintenance is not the best. One time my ceiling was leaking from the rain and they just came and left a nasty bucket to catch the water. Nobody actually fixed the issue until a few days later. Also the area is very ratchet. I would not recommend living here at all. Seriously don't do it.
