Upstairs is a newly renovated building in the center of downtown Bethesda, within walking distance of everything you need in daily life. Building is exceptional clean and the staff is very helpful.
Love the row. It’s peaceful and engaging at the same time. If you value health and fitness - great location! Theres fitness clubs, med spas and more right downstairs!
Love the location and proximity to restaurants, shopping and the Capital Crescent trail. Amenities after the renovations are not as good as before. Gym is much smaller to make way for a now too large package room.
Clean, well-maintained building with a great team handling maintenance, the front desk and management. Love the location - busy and urban but quiet at night.
Good neighborhood and very good access to key necessities for life, especially including groceries stores and good cafes / restaurants in waking distance. The area is also clean and safe.

Location is good, close to station and easy access to shops, groceries and restaurant. However, I have experience of crazy noise and smelling smokes. This is not very good experience.

The smaller gym is s huge disappointment we waited so long and it's small and cramped and less weights. It's a real deal breaker for us. In addition there should be floors for people with pets and floors for people with out.

The location of this building is fantastic, with Giant directly across the street and Metro a short walk away. Plenty of good eats within a few hundred feet, too. Staff is very friendly and accommodating; concierge promptly notify of new deliveries and maintenance responds to and addresses issues within a day, typically. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience is not so great. The access card for the parking garage occasionally does not work and needs to be manually reset. Noise on the top floor is absolutely insufferable—there are a few AC units above my apartment and the noise is literally constant during summer. Maintenance has been notified but the issue remains unresolved. It drives me crazy and is the only truly deal-breaking aspect of living here. If you're getting an apartment on the top floor, make sure listen carefully for any noise, preferably during the warmer months.

Lamentablemen en el ulltimo año el edificio tiene problemas de seguridad. Nos han roto una ventana desde el exterior. Y no mejoran las medidas de segurdad. Hay hecho delictivos en el ingreso al parking y nadie los resuelve. Ademas los otros inquilinos dejan mucha suciedad y nadie los multa. Los asecensores se descomponen a menudo. Las alarmas suenan sin sentido. Y el Gerente no responde ni los correos. PESIMO

The building staff is helpful and available almost all the time. The common areas are clean and inviting. In the case of issue with appliances or plumbing, management is very responsive and ensure the issue is fixed usually within 24 hours and communicates otherwise. And it goes with out saying... but the location is stellar.

So many little things weren’t working when I moved in. There were no closet rods for example. This is NOT a luxury building. There are no “luxury finishes”. It’s pretty basic, and not in great shape at that.

The setting overlooking the pedestrian mall looks so charming, but the reality is an unbelievably noisy atmosphere with dogs barking, toddlers screaming, and roving bands of teenagers yelling at all hours of the night. And the building's fire alarms go off all the time. I don't think I slept well even one night despite paying $$$.

Great location and clean facility, but the service is HORRIBLE especially given the luxury price tag! My dryer was broken for 3.5 months (yes, months) and no one responded to my pleas for help. No one responded / no one cared. And I could not even get fobs / access devices for my kids. FYI: I don't think I have ever written a bad review, not my thing. But this was an exceptionally bad experience. If you're going to shell out $$$ for an apartment I suggest you look elsewhere.

I moved here from out of state 4 months ago and feel so lucky that I landed at Bethesda Row. The Staff is simply awesome and they make it feel like family here. The surrounding area and shops are second to none. You can walk to anything you need from the Lobby front door. Simply awesome.

I love Upstairs at Bethesda row. Very convenient location, giant is across the street, many dining and shopping options around. I can walk my daughter to her daycare.

There is no shortage of luxury buildings with bells and whistles amenities and glistening finishes, the Upstairs at Bethesda Row a step above because it has all those things but the community feel and warmth of the staff and residents make this place truly feel like home. Whether youre s king time local or s new transplant theres plenty of room to grow and opportunities connect; theres no need that cant be met living here.

The staff at Upstairs makes it a warm place to come home to.
Its great to take advantage of bethesda and also Washington DC- great restaurants, walk to metro and a place friends want to visit
Upstairs at Bethesda Row is the best that Downtown Bethesda has to offer. Upstairs my apartment unit is well-appointed and spacious, and downstairs in bustling downtown Bethesda I have access to unlimited restaurants, shops and amenities. It's as simple as that!
