Love the appliances - Samsung appliances are just smarter and more efficient. This was a good decision to move here, very pleased so far with everything from the staff to the quality of the construction and attention to sound proof items like the soft close drawers and doors.

Management doesn't respond to prospective renters or current renters. Multiple security breaches that put the community at risk, and there's no plan for improvement.

Love the location and amenities. Package pickup and use of the bellhop cart is not very convenient. Pool is only big enough for a dip but PH balcony views are amazing. There are always a lot of community events

I had a great experince everytime I came here to take a tour. From front desk to office, everybody was super nice. Only problem I had while I was moving in, they forgat to leave the key for me to the concierge, so I had to unload the truck next day. Especially big shout out to Derail, he made the process so fast, I applied on Tuesday, next day I was approved. I moved in next Monday. I love it so far. Thanks to everybody!

Generally a good experience except for my dryer. The people working the front desk do a great job. Very clean and well maintained building. When I moved in it did not include an electrical connection. I notified the Westerly three times now and two days later I still can’t use my dryer.

The staff in the leasing office specifically Greg, Destiny, and Calllum are all amazing, very friendly and helpful. Maintenance moves fast with service requests.

My overall experience is a 4. Some of the staff is younger & they are learning to communicate which I appreciate however there is still a big opportunity to close the gap.

Some leasing staff has been incredibly unkind to me. People smoke in their apartments and it carries over. The concierges are very sweet and helpful though.

I found my move in experience fairly smooth. Move ins are always stressful and I’m glad I got great help from the leasing agent and concierge desk!!

I Love the building but it was difficult in beginning communicating with leasing office during the application process and learning the apartment “rules” when moving in.

We're new residents of the Westerly. We loved the tour, we love the location and they were running a winter move in special. Application process was pretty standard. Once we had our move in date, communication did slow a bit and move in was a little choppy. It just seemed like everyone moved in at once and leasing office was a bit overwhelmed. For example, it took a few days to activate our parking pass, our stove started smoking the first day, fobs didn't work for the penthouse, no one knew where the trash chute was, it just a series of minor snags. However, leasing agents were quick to address our concerns and make things right, so kudos there. Now that we're settling in, the building is nice, it always looks clean. The people seem cool. I haven't been to any events, but lots of activites for residents on the calendar. Concierge and securtiy are always available. Maintence is responsive. Aside from a choppy start, things are smoothing out and we're loving our new home.

You’re not getting parking and logged out of the garage, the promises that were me that other apartment were not kept in their keys did not work and we had to go back to the leasing office. Also, our stove is not plugged in/working which means we cannot cook. despite the leasing agent doing everything in his power the movement process was pretty tough

They need to change staff that's very unprofessional and not trying to help the residents it be crazy and I haven't been here long that's crazy

Beautiful Building, Great Atmosphere, Amazing View! Very close by to many Restaurants, Grocery Stores, and other stores and businesses. The Westerly is the perfect place to call home.

I have been in residence since May of 2024 via the inclusionary zoning housing program. I cannot feel luckier or happier to be a resident here at the Westerly. The staff is always professional and helpful. The building is gorgeous as well. I hope to be a part of the Westerly family for a long time to come.

I absolutely love living here. All of the staff from the leasing office to the concierge are so kind! The amount of support I'm receiving is unexplainable and I recommend this apartment to anyone that'll listen.

I love everything about my unit Everyone that works here are beyond polite The area it self is just in a great place which makes everything so very convenient.

I love everything about the Westerly. The modern amenities the keyless doors but most of all I really like the people who work here. All of the concierge are the nicest most pleasant people. The leasing agents are quick to help with whatever I need.

Great and safe place, friendly people, good service. You can really enjoy to stay there, swimming pool and gym are always available, nice penthouse area with a good view

Literally love it here so far, this is my third day and everything is going so well. Every part of the staff is professional and respectful. The building is beautiful and peaceful. Can’t wait to really make this my home.

I recently moved into my new apartment, and I have to say, the move-in process was pretty smooth overall. The leasing agents were helpful and made the transition easy. However, once I settled in, I noticed a very unpleasant mildew smell permeating the apartment. I reached out to the leasing office, and they informed me that the pipes weren't properly flushing, which was causing the odor. While I appreciate their communication, it's unfortunate that I now have to mask the smell with items like Febreze, incense, and candles to make the space more livable. Despite this issue, I'm still pleased with my apartment and the overall experience. I'm hopeful that the maintenance team will resolve the plumbing issue soon so I can fully enjoy my new home without the lingering odor.

The Westerly is the best place I resided at in a long time they have everything in reach and are very caring to their tenants and Pets and maintenance is superb.

Amazing building very clean and a ton resident friendly features I was greeted when I walked in by a very lovely and amazing receptionist named chanelle she made my experience there golden she is one of kind when it comes to giving out tours and explaining the overall features of the westerly overall an amazing experience

Since I’ve moved in the westerly, they have been nothing but amazing! From the lovely concierge to the leasing staff. I recently moved in and so far my experience has been good.

It’s the best I’ve ever lived. Cioncerge is great. Maintenance is the best. Move here if you can. You will be glad you did. The location, amenities, the wharf right down the street. Waterfront metro station 1block away. 295,3rdsttunnel, very close. I love it. I’m back after10 years away from SW. I am back!

The westerly has been an hit or miss experience. Overall the building presentation is everything. Very very decorative very welcoming customer service manage well with the morning greetings. The building has seen chaotic at times , Regarding packaging dispute delivery order & drop offs and maintenance services during business hours. Overall, staff services is very convenient & Open to making changes those things do not go on notice. Security 24 hours I love that! Neighborhood parking is terrible out of 10! Cleanliness outside of the building can be building , do to school living and company business it may be challenging. Over all I love living here

I love it. It’s very spacious, very quiet, great amenities, neighbor friendly, pet friendly. Maintenance very quick to respond. I’ve had a great experience here so far nothing to complain about highly recommend.

I've been waiting to move into my beautiful apartment for a while now. I applied in March and still waiting for everything to be submitted so that we can move forward with the process. Try to emailing the general manager several times but most of the time he's on vacation. Hopefully this rating will change once I get a chance to live in my magnificent apartment.

The perfect apartment for you if you love paying $50 to get ghosted, treated horribly, and never ever hear back!!! There are so many amazing Bozzuto-managed apartments in DC. The management company itself is not the problem because none of the other Bozzuto apartments act this tragically. It’s the Westerly! You will get a conditional offer and be ghosted forever. As in forever, I actually mean forever. When I went to the office to ask about the review process after an entire month of the conditional offer, they gave me a blank stare and told me to wait. Their team even lie that they have an “IT issue” to avoid talking. Apartment applications shouldn’t be this traumatic. Thanks to Westerly’s amazing team, I dodged a bullet. Imagine living in an apartment complex where the management team looks at you like dead roach and doesn’t know how to talk in a normally cordial way. Truly a blessing in disguise. Again, there are so many beautiful apartments in the area with amazing amenities/staff and better pricing. It’s summer and we’re tired enough. Don’t stress more by applying here. Wishing everyone won’t go through what I had to.

The management is friendly and in general the building is lovely and clean. The concierge is always amazing and helpful, they really go out of their way to help you. I'd really love to see the lights replaced on the elevators--they have been out since I moved in 4mos ago. The two things i have found most difficult is that the vents push a LOT of dust into the apartment. I have to sweep 2-3x each day and it has caused me to develop a relentless cough, even with now using an inhaler. Also, the walls are quite thin. I hear a lot of loud stomping above me everyday. I can't tell which apartment it is nor have the leasing agents been able to help. It is for this reason and the dust that I give 4 stars.

It has been okay so far. Make sure to ask all the procedural requirements before you move in. Also they will stop responding to your emails once you move in..

So far, my living experience has been impeccable! The concierge and staff have been so helpful and welcoming. I can't wait to make memories here at my new home.

I am so impressed with everything about this community, most importantly the management and the concierge, shout out to Ebony at The Westerly, she was very kind, professional and supportive . The team are responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking, and committed to highest quality standards. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the buildings are well constructed and maintained. The location is close to shopping and transportation. I highly recommend The Westerly for your next apartment home.

I enjoy the aesthetic of the building, amenities are great. Neighbors are okay, I love the accessibility to metro, grocery, events, etc. Overall a pleasant place to live.

I love it here the residents are nice and friendly and I have a lot of new furry friends I cant wait to keep making memories here, and more activities that bozzuto have

I love it here , every one is so friendly and nice the gym is a A very close to Safeway , a new donut place just open up next store , and the train station is walking distance

Everyone was friendly and had great attitudes. I felt very welcomed. The concierge was very helpful. The building is very clean smells great and it’s very quiet on my floor. I’m glad to be home.

The entire process was bad. Nobody picks up the phone or responds to emails. I had to pop up unscheduled 4 times. The last time, i was essentially begging for the lease to sign, solely because i was 2 days from needing to vacate my last apartment.

I enjoy living at the Westerly. The only concern I have is about the smoke coming into my unit. I come home to my unit smelling like cigarettes or weed on occasion.

Once I sign my lease I will be happy to let you know!! Excited to hear back! I am currently waiting to be approved, Hoping this is the week for good news!!

Leasing office customer service experience when it comes to responding to emails from residents are not very helpful. No nobody never replied or responded to my issues or concerns.

The Westerly is good clean environment to live. The building is always clean. The staff an concierge are very respectful, an will assist you no matter what the situation may be. My experience here at The Westerly is pleasant. I look forward to the greetings every day.

Customer service/ is lacking/shoddy building quality. Safety is problematic. Too many people follow into building without own swipes. No cameras on floors.

PARTIAL REVIEW Only one week here so this is focus only on how the move in went. When we arrived the elevator from the loading dock wasn’t working which made everything super hard to the movers. They charged us more since they had to cancel their other scheduled moves to finish with mine. This was a very discouraging start. However, Ebony from the concierge was super helpful and tried to make it easier for us by carrying things with me over our place! She was absolutely kind and going for the extra mile. The maintenance team helped as well, and even the cleaning ladies! The building is very nice, the staff has been helpful and kind so far and neighbors friendly. Loving it so far!

The view from the apartment is beautiful, the balcony is very spacious and the maintenance service is fast, usually the next day. The only inconvenience we had was that the moving elevator did not work the day we moved in and we had to pay an extra to the movers for the service.

I love how friendly and understanding the team is and how clean it is. The atmosphere is so homey! I love my unit and the entire layout. I highly recommend The Westerly’s !!!!

I like everything not bad a few issues with my unit but I like. It but I don’t like how difficult it is to get in contact with maintenance or leasing about some things

Move in was smooth and concierge is the best! Apartment came well equipped and was exactly what we expected. Some continued construction on the building is only current downside.
