A horrible place to move to. Nothing is done about legitimate complaints. "A courtesy call" is done by management, but issues still continue. I cannot exit this lease without giving 2 months notice and 2 months rent as a cancelation fee.
I have now been a resident at the Walcott Hackensack for almost one month. i’m very happy that I chose this building for my new residence. The staff is amazing and the residence is very friendly. I will highly recommend The Walcott Hackensack to anyone for new place of residence.

The Walcott is an amazing place to live and rent. Sal the maintenance worker is so incredible, if anything goes wrong or needs work (which is rare) they are so quick to come and help. It is the cleanest building I have ever been to and appreciate it everyday. The gym is spotless and the amenities are gorgeous. When I have visitors over they tell me it looks like a hotel. Additionally, in 1.5 years of living here, I have never heard a noise from a neighbors next door apartment the walls are so soundproof. There is ample parking, the mail room is super efficient, and the staff is kind.

I would give this community a 1 star. The best thing they have going for them is their 1 bedroom den loft layout. I would not recommend. Management looks over worked. Property is not well maintained. They allowed dogs in the pool after specifically telling me since pool season is over they would be draining the pool. The pool has never been drained. So that’s a health concern. I will most likely be breaking my lease. This place is repulsive.

Live at this building for 13 months. Cons: The leasing office communication is absolutely terrible. From day 1 it was terrible for me at move-in. The unit I signed up for was not the unit I was given when my move-in day came which caused a paperwork issue and me being give a different unit that wasn’t even clean. That’s just one example. I had a major leak in my apartment. I told them about it and they blamed it on the weather. After two days of consistent leaks they told me it was still caused by daily weather conditions. After a few more days I was still having leaks and it was sunny outside they finally sent maintenance and all he did was patch it up. The following week (boom) another major leak! After one week of me trying to tell them something other than the weather is causing these leaks , I recorded everything and they finally realized it was the pipe from the unite on the floor above that was leaking into my apt . This turned into a two week issue that could’ve been avoided but they didn’t want to believe or do a diligent investigation after my first complaint. I have a few more other bad communication situations (parking, rent payment portal, deposit process) where they tell you one thing in person , it’s a different policy on email and then the actual process is totally different. For example it took 19 days to get my deposit back . Pros: nice amenities. Sal from the maintenance team is good at his job but is completely overwhelmed. Front desk attendant is nice .

The super, Eduardo is phenomenal and attentive. The building is minutes from malls, super markets and restaurants adding to the available amenities. There is also an express bus to NY across the street and rail transportation two blocks away. All of the onsite staff is courteous and friendly creating a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment.

Maintenance stuff is super friendly, helpful and get the job done. Had GE technician over to look at the fridge arranged by Kevin. Everything went really well, tech were here on time accompanied by Kevin. Very professional and very pleasant experience. Really great staff I have to say, one of the best I've had.

I’m very satisfied with my decision to become a resident here. I’ve seen the other new buildings in the area but I believe The Walcott is at the best location and is the best looking building in the area especially at night. Even my Dog loved it here she was a little shy at first when we arrived but now I can’t keep her inside she always wants to walk the neighborhood her confidence has definitely improved since being here at the Walcott. ??

I Love the place! The location is amazing and while I haven’t explored much of the area yet it seems like we’re in walking distance of everything. Also having a Family Dollar store downstairs is amazing. The staff including security and maintenance staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and the amenities are outstanding . I just love the atmosphere of The Walcott and I’m looking forward to becoming more settled and for the opportunity to meet some of the new residents here.

I recently moved into the Walcott and it was worth the wait! From the moment you walk in, you're immediately pulled in by the beautiful décor and professionalism from Jennifer and Lequan. The Walcott is a high end apt complex with high end amenities. It feels like I’m living in a hotel.
