Very good apartment good people around and the maintenance crew are super fast, but the ladies are very very bad managers, rude and they don't care that's why most tenant move out every month.

Good day, I wanted to invite you to tour the property and meet the whole team we all work together to keep Verano a place to call home! If you want to express more details or just come in. I'm interested in listening to any potential concerns.
Apartments is infested with roaches. Small old painted over buildings and painted over cabinets to make it look remodeled. No hot water. Management is horrible. Don't waste your time and money . Take your family somewhere where they will care about you and your well being. Fed my dog in my bedroom and the roaches in the kitchen lined up and started crawling towards my bedroom towards the dog food.

One thing I can say about the staff here is that they are so helpful. When I needed anything such as service request or if I had a question they are willing to help. Thank you Francis, Ollie, and Angela for making my apartment a great experience.

I recently moved in and I have really enjoyed my new place, I always like reading reviews so I wanted to give one myself. Great prices and a great place to live!
I moved here for the schools near here and i love it. My children enjoy the playground and the pools. Its a quiet place and the neighbors are nice.
I just moved in about a month ago and i love it. Its quiet and the apartment is nice. The location is great too. Everything is close by.
The office staff is very unorganized. I should have known better just by the move in process. My original move-in date had to be changed because the only employee that day locked herself out the office! I have asked several times for maintenance to exterminate, and that has yet to be done . My lights KEEP going out in half of my apartment and once I notified the office the maintenance man basically said ohhhh well I don't know which wire ,figure out the wire and let me know?!! Oh and on top off all that , the staff books are all over the place . in the computer system "I have a year lease " but in actuality I Never signed for anything other than 6 months! I'm so ready to move !
The management here is terrible, There have been many occasions where I have put in work request and those request are never addressed. We moved in (July 2015) and our bathtub / shower looked to have never been replaced nor cleaned. It just now was “replaced’ (March 2016) and by replaced I mean spray painted with white paint to make it look like “new.” I’ve made many complaints about MOLD, has it been addressed? No. Also, upon moving in we as tenants are to walk the property and make sure there are no damages, holes, etc. which there were holes in cabinets, and water stains in the ceilings, have they been addressed? No. Next, there have been many occasions where my money orders have been lost, late fees have been added onto my account because they “close the office early” on key days, and/or do not show up to work. Today’s issue takes the cake. I called up to the office a number of times to get the balance because the online portal was “down” and my calls were sent straight to voicemail each time, finally after calling from my office phone I was able to get into contact with the manager who sounded very unenthused to address my issues, before she would complete listen to what I said her response was that I can’t make a payment online and my best bet is to pay whatever it was I paid last month, and whatever I am short on I can pay it once the system is back up and running. Now if this were any other complex I would trust that, but because of all the obvious reasons above I will not fall for it. This property could use some work, along with new workers that enjoy their jobs and can effectively help those of us who need it, especially since this includes the payment of my rent and the properties reputation. I hope this helps someone looking to rent here.. DON’T!

I rented this apartment for 1 1/2 months. Air conditioner did not cool, ice maker did not work, laundry room was inoperable and had garbage in the dryers. Courtyard flooded to your knees when it rained. When u asked management to fix anything it to contacting the property owners to get them to act. Lost money moving into apartment. All together lost 3500 dollars with movers deposit and breaking of lease. I have pictures if interested.
1.) . I moved in in June and have made multiple requests to have my bathroom finished. It is now September and it still isn't painted. I was told they were waiting for a paint contractor. 2.) Bathroom door closet stuck for weeks as they painted it shut! It took me more than 3 times to come in and complain before it got taken care of 3.) Drains still not added to my bathroom sink, kitchen sink or shower as requested 4.) Found a pistol on the ground outside by my apartment, turned out to be a airsoft gun but looked real. Maintenance guy took it but I don't think anything came of it. 5.) Hot water was out needed to be fixed multiple times 6.) Sent a maintenance request in on 8.27.15 about toilet leaking no response 7.) 8.29.15- 9:00 PM Pipes in toilet and shower and kitchen sink sprayed water and debris out of it all over the place and it smells like sewage. Hot water was out again and needed to be fixed. I called maintenance and they said they had cleaned out the pipes but now that the blockage in the pipes was out there was nothing they could do, but said sorry I had to clean up the mess in my apartment. They said if it had been a lot of water they could vacuum it out but since it was mostly just debris they said they couldn't. So I had to go at 10 o'clock and buy a bunch of cleaning supplies and clean the mess they made after I told them to have it fixed days earlier. 8) I have been paying for pest control which is automatically added to your rent and they've come in once 9) I've come home multiple times and the power was out for some reason. Latest Power outage 9/6/15. Other issues: -Trash is always overflowing in the dumpster and spills onto the pavement. Last week there were stray dogs eating out of the bags that were laying there. -The ‘clothes care center’ is a mess and smells like someone died in it. In short, stay away. Stay far far away. The last time the power went out a bunch of residents were standing around and not a single person had anything positive to say about this place. You'd be doing yourself a favor if you stay in a cardboard box rather than live here.
first off it took them an extra three days to get the apmnt ready because apparently the staff didnt know they werent supposed to sell that unit until it was fully finished so the whole job was a rush job they havent come to repair the initial repairs we listed and now they wont come and fix the four gaping holes the maintenance guy made trying to find a leak that "someone else" was supposed to come fix weve been here a month and were already searching for another place.
It has changed hands twice, the new owners are trying to make the outside look pretty. But still need to work on the inside and the repairs of residents requests. However it is located between to major streets, and you can get bus to shopping within minutes. It's locate only three blocks away from West Houston Medical Center.
Before the new company took over, these weren't so bad. Staff lies to you, nothing works, maintenance is lazy, at we may as well b a grocery store all the shopping carts left there. No response to repairs. I can't wait to move.
