Garbage disposal & clothes dryer Adriano arrived within an hour after I filed my maintenance request and promptly resolved both issues. He also gave me tips on how to prevent or minimize those problems from happening again. The entire maintenance department is a credit to SoFi - they are all prompt, responsive and professional. Washer Machine We are so happy that everything was done so quickly! Our only complaint is that the washer that we were given was very dirty on the inside and it’s very difficult to clean. I do not feel comfortable washing my clothing in a dirty machine.

Comfortable apartment Comfortable apartment. On occasions when I have had some difficulty, the maintenance staff has come quickly to resolve the problem. The common areas are kept clean. The only negative thing is that some neighbors do not respect the speed of cars in the parking lot.

The complex is okay, but they just decided to add a dedicated playground inside one of the courtyards, in a place where normal speaking voices already echo. If you value peace and quiet, or your sanity, don't move here.

Iwould recommend because everyone who works here is amazing. There has been so many positive changes since Cushman and Wakefield took over the community and honestly, this has been the best experience in the last ten years of living here.
I still have concerns on the security through the garage but overall I am impressed with the changes the new owners are making.
Maintenance was professional, dog-friendly, and wore a mask when I requested it.
The Sofi is a beautiful complex to live in and aesthetically charming. I wish my apt had a terrace but due to losing closest space and bedroom space, I do not.
If they worked harder in keeping cleanliness of building and working on marijuana problem then maybe I would recommend also apartment appliances and cabinets are old and need replacement

I have been a resident here at the property for almost ten years; going through Avalon, Greystar and Cushman and Wakefield. Even though they all have been some what good, I want to say that Cushman and Wakefield or Sofi Lyndhurst stood out the most by far. When you live at an apartment, in my opinion, what matters is the excellent communication between the residents and the office staff because well you live here 24-7 and something is always happening. Every person I have encountered since the transition to Sofi Lyndhurst from Peter, the assistant property manager to Chris, Daniella, Danny and Frank in the maintenance team have been nothing but kind, well knowledged, professional and proactive on the issues. I chose this property because I like the location; quite yet close to everything you need. I am happy going into my eleventh year here at the property especially with the new management and I can't wait to see the better changes to come.
At this moment I am not happy or comfortable with this community. I am waiting and seeing what the new Property Manager will do. Some of my biggest concerns is security, entry doors being broken and not fixed, garage door constantly breaking and taking long for the garage door to be repaired. Like I mentioned, the residents that are moving in, I feel are not respectful or their community, a staff that couldn't be bothered.
I think the apartment has a great location with many diverse options
It is close to everything and is pretty much all someone needs,
Love everything about the apt..sometimes hard to get a hold of leasing office.
I recommend because is Comfortable and a nice place to live with nice amenities
The new management has been absolutely horrible. They took over this month and it has been absolutely impossible to get hold of them. They updated their phone numbers on their website and it routes to the wrong complex. They don't respond to emails. Residents have been left in the dark since this change happened.

The Union is a great place to live, amazing neighbors and easy commute to NYC for work
Good Overall experience but residents should at least be allowed 1 guest in the pool area during summer time. Complex repairs take a while to be completed.
We love our new apartment, and how everything we need from groceries to entertainment is within 10min driving distance. The grounds are beautifully kept and the overall experience of signing our lease was smooth and easy.

I’ve only been here for 30 days and already dealing with issues. 1. Leakage from the maintenance door coming all the way from my living room to kitchen. 2. There is no hot water and heat and it’s only been a month since I’ve been here I have a toddler so I can’t bathe him or myself. I have to go to my parents just to take a shower ! Coming from the cold just to be in the cold is outrageous. 3. I’m paying 310 a month for parking and people are parking in my spot EVERY night and they don’t even have a sticker in their window. leaving me to park else where and they’re signs say you must park in your spot so if I park in another spot cause someone is in mine and my car gets towed I’m responsible which isn’t fair. I’ve sent an email about the parking before but was not home to show the car. However, someone from the office could have gone up to see since I wasn’t able to do so. Cause I let the person be aware that I wasn’t home. I would of went elsewhere if I’d known I’d have these issues.

I was excited initially about moving in but quickly was dismayed by all the issues I had moving in regarding parking space...a poor paint job in my apartment, overall old broken appliances mainly dishwasher and washing machine and overall hallway maintenance of the building and constant marijuana smell, dirty looking rugs place doesnt look very Luxurious!

The Mngt office very professional and I commend Silvana Santos for running a good ship especially during such hard times everyones going through! Its quite which makes it relaxing. Good privacy and neighbors keep to themselves. Its a good environment & good location

Someone's dog keeps pooping in the hall. Packages go missing, but we cannot find who's taking them. Residents and staff don't wear masks in shared spaces, so I cannot use the amenities that I pay for. And now we can't have doormats because it's too hard to clean the hallways with them. I just feel nickel-and-dimed for every little thing, and that Greystar is only here to take my money.

Hello, Thank you for your review. The Union is a pet friendly building and we understand pet accidents do happen. Our porters do their best to make sure if this happens it is addressed and cleaned right away. We do address this with residents if they are found letting their pet use the bathroom wit hin the building. As for the doormats, unfortunately floor mats are a fire hazard and the hallways must be clear. This is not only a policy the building implied, this is also implied by the fire department. Hello, Thank you for your review! The Union is a pet friendly building and we do understand pets have accidents. The building porters do their best to stay on top of this. When pets use the bathroom within the community our porters cleaned the area and also steam the area if the accident is on carpet. The staff within the community do wear masks when assisting residents, vendors or prospects looking to tour the community. Unfortunately we cannot mandate individuals to wear masks when entering and leaving their apartment. As for the door mats, unfrotunately all hallways must be clear. This is not only a building policy, this has been enforced by the fire department. Mats in the hallways are considered fire hazards and trip hazards. If you have any questions or concerns regarding building policy and procedures feel free to contact the management office.
