Property Ratings at The Stories
I really have loved living here. This apartment is a huge step up from my last apartment, so it is easy to fall in love with. I love the layout of my one-bedroom apartment; I especially love the open concept of the kitchen and living room. It's really a great apartment for entertaining friends. This area is completely new to me, and this apartment has really helped make it feel like home. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that my shower creeks when I stand in it, but I don't even hear it anymore.
Great apartment and overall good facilities . Great staff and decent gym.. it’s near to confessional plaza which is great, it’s walkable distance to so many shops
I love or rather i like to share to anyone that living in this property or in this building is having a peacefull and happy life for it is very convenient place for what you need in your daily routine.
Easy to access to the metro station and highway. Also walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, clinics and shops. Enjoy living in the stories apartment.
Has been good , there are good walkable stores to eat and shop. All major grocery stores are nearby to complete weekly shopping with ease. Unit is good as well
Living in this condominium is truly a privilege. It’s a peaceful, safe place with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home from day one. The common areas are always well maintained, the gardens stay green all year round, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The community is respectful and supportive, creating a pleasant and welcoming environment. One of its greatest advantages is the location close to everything, yet far enough from the city noise. It’s the perfect balance between comfort, tranquility, and quality of life.
Great location! Easy to access to high way and walking distance to metro station, stores, restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops. I enjoy exploring this area.
Management staff is great, and it's nice to always see the cleaning lady keeping the place looking nice. My room has had a persistent odor from the kitchen sink which has been rather unpleasant though. Other than that, location is fantastic with everything you could need within a 20 min walk.
The location is excellent — it's conveniently situated with easy access to both trains and buses, making commuting and getting around the city hassle-free. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional, creating a welcoming environment. The people in the area or community are also pleasant and easy to get along with, adding to the overall positive experience.
Overall a good place to live, the leasing agents are very friendly and helpful. Garage/parking system is nice, no numbered spots so you can park wherever (you do have to pay monthly for parking). There's basically infinite spots for guests to park, towing doesn't start until like 2-3am which is fantastic, and if you just like a different option there is a store parking lot literally in the same area. Location is prime, basically all needs are within 20min walking.
I have no complaints. I just moved in and everyone is super friendly and eager to help. The space is very nice and I am excited to be living here. There’s also so much to do around the area within walking distance.
So far, really loving everything! Residents are all very kind, can’t ever hear my neighbors, and I’m obsessed with the coffee machine! I also love how accessible the parking garage is.
I have enjoyed living here. I feel save and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy the monthly resident events and the community is nice and very walkable.
It's really lovely living in The Stories. The people make it a really friendly environment. My family and I appreciate the safe space that there is at The Stories. Ever since we moved here, we can rely on a safe, convenient, fun environment. We are also really lucky to live in this location where lots of things that you may need on a daily basis are within walking distance, for example, a coffee shop, a bookstore, a supermarket, gift shops, restaurants, etc. We also appreciate how the staff goes out of their way to make family friendly events and give out gifts to celebrate events such as Halloween, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. It really makes a difference to see how the staff takes their time to make an event that brings the community together.
Great location such as walking distance to metro station, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, bakery and highways. I enjoy living here.
I've had a positive experience living in this condominium. The community is quiet, safe, and well-maintained. The management team is responsive and professional whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance. Maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner, and the common areas are always clean. I also appreciate the convenient location, as it's close to shops, public transportation, and parks. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to live, and I would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and reliable living environment.
So far I have no complaints about noise or neighbors. Overall my unit is nice. Looking forward to the convenience and shopping nearby.
This apartment has been a great experience. While we have had some issues, the management has been extremely responsive and helpful in addressing them. The pool has been amazing as temperatures rise.
Great location! Best part of the community. Most people are friendly and occasionally as in most places, there may be an unsavory character or 2. Everyone has that one neighbor
The stories apartment located near metro station and shopping center. It’s easy to access to DC area, restaurants, shops, cafe and high way exit.
The stories is a well maintained and well kept property. It is quiet and it’s close to many things. It’s excellence for singles, seniors and individuals without children or if you have pets this is an excellent place to be. Make sure when you come in you lock in the rent price they quote you upfront if you really like the property because it will go up Great workout facilities lots of area to walk your dog lots of shops lots of great places to eat.
I have been here for 3 years and I have never had a complaint, the staff is polite, professional and accommodating. The other residents are also friendly. And it’s a great location.
Great so far. The building is well kept, everything is clean, maintenance is very responsive. The area is quiet and you can walk to many shops and the metro.
Living at the Stories has been a great experience. The property is well maintained, conveniently located, and the management team is very responsive, friendly, and helpful.
There two apartment buildings at Stories in Rockville. The buildings are located at1620 and 1628 E Jefferson St. We live in the 1628 building which is the newer of the two buildings. From speaking with people in our community, we have come to understand that the newer building at 1628 is the "better" of the two buildings. We have a two bedroom, two bathroom apt. Our rent is a tad higher than similar apts. in our area, but it is well worth paying a little bit more for the peace and quiet, the friendly people, the clean exercise room, the clean interior of the building, the well landscaped property, the view overlooking the children's play area, the short wait at the elevator of no more than 15 sec., a good size parking lot that is never full leaving ample parking for visitors, a maintenance staff that responds quickly to fix problems, a management staff that hosts parties at holiday time, the convenience of nearby shopping, and the cheerful friendly people we have met here. Needless to say, my wife and I are happy living at the Stories of Rockville.
Amazing staff, very helpful and pleasant. Wonderful location very accessible.
It has been a beautiful experience living at The Stories for the past five years. I appreciate the sense of community, and welcoming environment on a daily basis. Location and safety are important advantages.
Great location. Easy to access to metro station, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, schools and cafes. Enjoy living at the stories apartment.
I like the community, staff and the people who live here. The area has plenty of shopping and dinning options but the community is still quite and very clean.
I had an amazing experience staying at this condo! The place was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. The location was ideal—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The amenities were top-notch, from the sparkling pool to the well-equipped gym. The private balcony had breathtaking views, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. Plus, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay.
Thank you so much for The Fast and Prompt service this team is very helpful. loving my experience on this property truly a gem of the Rockville area!
The Stories has always provided a clean and safe place for me to call home. The staff here are always ready to help fix any problem I've had, noting they were all minor problems I would expect anywhere. However, not all places were this good.
The Stories has been a wonderful first apartment experience. The proximity to public transportation and stores is convenient, the amenities meet my needs, and the space is always clean and the staff welcoming. I would recommend to anyone looking to live in the Rockville area.
Location is the best part of living in this apartment . Used to be better service, equipment and amenities, but not anymore. I hope it comes back.
We love living at the Stories. All of the staff are very friendly and the apartment itself is nice. Very cozy and affordable. Our pups also love taking advantage of the dog run
The community is fairly quiet. We had some people move in that make tons of noise and make the hallway smell like tree. The location is unbeatable!
Hallway floors are gross and smell like dog pee. Other than that everything is ok. Decent apartment. The amenities to the newer building are nicer and it seems cleaner, but is pricier.
Great location. Easy to access to metro station, walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, cafe, small parks and shops. Enjoy living in the stories.
This is my first apartment and I’ve been very impressed with this building. Any service requests are answered quickly, all staff and residents greet you with a smile, and all common areas/amenities are clean. It is a great place to live, with convenient access to a plethora of stores and a short walk to the metro.
Great location! Walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, metro station, coffee shop and Retail stores. I enjoy living at The Stories apartment.
My resident experience has been exceptional, combining comfort, convenience, and a sense of community. The facilities are always well-maintained, and the staff is attentive and responsive, ensuring that any concerns are addressed promptly. I’ve enjoyed the thoughtfully designed amenities, like the gym and shared spaces, which provide opportunities to relax and connect with neighbors. The location is ideal, making daily errands and commutes seamless. Above all, the atmosphere feels welcoming and safe, creating a true sense of home. This experience has exceeded my expectations and has made my time here truly enjoyable.
I've lived at the stories for the entire time the 1628 has been in operation. The place is neat and clean, including vacuuming and sometimes shampooing the hall carpeting. The rental office staff is always helpful and courteous. Improvements are made to make things safer and more convenient when needed. Events are organized for residents by community management and staff.
The stories has been great to live at. The maintenance team is very responsive and helpful. The leasing office has been great and helpful if any concerns arise. The community is very clean and well kept
All members of our community staff, including the rental office manager, the assistant manager, and the housekeeping contractors are friendly, as they perform their duties and helpful when a resident needs on the spot help to fulfill an immediate need. For example, I walk with a rollator walker and dropped my key as I came into the lobby. She immediately saw it on the floor, picked it up and put it in my hand. I was very relieved and impressed.
Great location such as walking distance to metro station, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and clinics. I enjoy living at the stories apartment.
I have been a resident for 13 months, and I have been consistently impressed with the management team, maintenance staff, property condition, and convenient location. The management team has always been responsive to my needs and inquiries. They are professional, courteous, and helpful. The maintenance staff is prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable. They have addressed all of my maintenance requests in a timely manner, and their work is always top-notch. The property itself is well-maintained and clean. The amenities are excellent, and the location is ideal for me. I appreciate the convenience of being close to 5 shopping centers and very close the the Twinbrook metro, all within walking distance. They also host monthly resident events! Overall, I have had a very positive experience living at The Stories. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to live. Thank you for providing such a wonderful living environment.
I like the location of where I live, but I wish the management would tell us more of what is happening in the building. Instead of us discovering that there is construction happening or that something is not working and that a part is on back order.
Walking distance to metro, restaurants, supermarkets, book store, and coffee shop. Location is great. I enjoy living at the Stories apartment.
I have lived at the same address for 9 years. It's the longest I've been at any place since leaving my parent's house in Queens, New York City. My wife and I were the first two people to live in building that includes my apartment. It's just me since my wife died of natural causes just a few weeks short of a 50th wedding anniversary. My nearby family and friends have been looking after me and the management of this community provide a high-quality place to live. All common areas and the maintenance in the apartments are well maintained by the excellent staff. The community's staff also provides events and quick responses to requests for assistance. I am happy to live here and have no plans to move. I recommend that anyone looking for an apartment community visit our leasing office and have a look at the options it provides.
I have lived in this community for eight years and the level of maintenance and various other services such as housekeeping, groundskeeping, and management efficiency and effectiveness have improved continually over time.
