Katy and Sarah are the best! The apartments are spacious and beautifully designed. The complex itself is located in a perfect location, along with a very secure entry and exit system. The penthouse and gym are TO DIE FOR!

My daughter currently lives here for college. Sarah & Katie are very friendly and helpful. Things that need attention are quickly handled. And their communication with tenants is very good. The building is clean and cared for by Kevin & Vickie. We moved her there from Cedar Broad and the difference is night and day. There is always a long waitlist. But if you can wait, it's very worth it.

I just graduated but lived at the square for 3 years. I truly miss the exceptional service now that I’ve graduated. The office staff, especially Sarah and Katie, are always responsive and friendly, making it easy to feel at home. The amenities are consistently clean and well-maintained, and the secure access system gives me peace of mind. The maintenance team—Kevin and Vickie—are fast, reliable, and always handle requests with a positive attitude. After three years of excellent service, The Square has truly felt like a community. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run, safe, and clean place to live!

Sarah, Katie, Kevin, and Vickie gave me the feeling from moment I toured that they are committed to providing a comfortable and well-maintained environment for all residents. The property itself is always impeccably cared for. The property is consistently neat and well-kept, with attention to detail in both common areas and the grounds. The team also ensures that any maintenance issues are addressed quickly and efficiently, often going above and beyond to make sure everything is functioning smoothly. It’s rare to see a staff that takes such pride in the upkeep of a community. Whether it’s through seasonal decorations, regular cleanings, or prompt repairs, it's clear they genuinely care about the living experience here. The sense of community given by this attentive staff makes it a pleasure to call this apartment complex home.

Everything is clean and smells good, the staff are very friendly, and the amenities are extremely convenient.

The Square is by far the nicest place I've ever lived since moving out of my parents' house. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Everyone has a positive attitude and says Hello. I'm living in a single apartment with a balcony looking down on W Grace St. I love sitting outside and drinking coffee in the morning.

I've lived here for two years and am very happy here. As all the other reviews mention, the staff in the leasing office and maintenance are super sweet! The prices are pretty high but I would say worth it due to the really convenient location as a VCU student and all the amenities, especially the gym. I would say parking is really expensive, it's cheaper to get a spot close by elsewhere. The apartment itself is gorgeous, great views especially if you get one with a balcony!

The Square has everything you need and want (gym, clubhouse, laundry in unit, allows pets, ect). Along with that, the staff is SUPERB and always available to help.

I have lived at The Square for almost 4 years now. The only reason why I didn’t renew my lease for next year is because I’m moving out of state. The staff at The Square go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you. Maintenance gets completed promptly. The views from the higher up apartments are fantastic (Full view of the sunrise if you face Shafer St!!!) and you can see an unreal view of the sunset from the roof. Everyone who works there truly is fantastic! Extra shoutout to Miss Vickie and Kevin- they always say hi to me when they see me and even ask how my cat is doing. 10/10, would recommend living here.

The staff is amazing! Mini gym and rooftop is what I love the most at The Square. Location is convenient - 2 min walk to the GRTC bus stop. Highly recommend!

The Square is much more like a home than I had expected out of an apartment complex. The office and maintenance staff are what really make The Square go above and beyond compared to other living options.

You will be hard pressed to fine staff that genuinely cares about their residents more than those at The Square. By far the friendliest, most accommodating group of professionals I have ever had the pleasure of leasing from.

Treats their tenants with a lot of respect! Very caring and comfortable place to live!
