The staff is super nice and the actual apartment is very close to campus. Over the past few months maybe year the apartments grounds seems to be very dirty tho, not sure why there’s so much more trash on the ground in the grass and in the parking lots now than last year?

Facilities were deceptively advertised as present on apartments.com, when they were not. No dishwasher, no microwave, no air conditioning (at least 90F in-unit for weeks during the summer), no in-unit laundry (~$20/month in a totally separate building), and not even a full-sized fridge. The space is cheaply made and maintained. Fees are everywhere, adding hundreds to monthly payments. People working here are nice and they try to be helpful, but the neighborhood is rough. I've had my bike tires stolen and packages stolen - even from the "secure" lockers I paid for (another little fee). Residents frequently leave dog poop around, giving the whole complex a prevailing stink. Don't move here.

Overall, it’s a pretty great place. My biggest issue is with renewing your lease. You basically have to renew starting every November and when your lease starts in August, there’s not a tons of space to make an informed decision. Another thing is, they almost always increase you rent amount when you renew.

I have lived here for almost 2 months and I really like it. It is a very nice community, clean and quiet in a good neighborhood close to restaurants, grocery stores etc.

The staff is super nice. But the apartments itself, I’d say it’s pretty expensive. Mold growing in AC unit and bathroom is a little unnerving, and the laundry units are usually either full or broken. Hopefully can find a new place next year!

I like that I don’t hear through the walls. Alex the maintenance guy has been more than helpful even installing my window air conditioner. The pool has been well maintained and other than that, I don’t really have any complaints.

amazing communication and always available and ready to help if ever need be! I had a very unique situation when it came to my lease and the unit I was going to move into being trashed, but they immediately found a solution that actually turned out in my favor. Everyone at social west was very good about contacting me and making sure I was okay with the changes and updated me regularly. The people who work here are incredibly helpful and kind and just overall wonderful! plus I think the rates here are quite literally the best in town, especially considering that all utilities are included!

Amenities are dated as well as the units. Price is high and laundry gets expensive. Pool is nice but has no shade anywhere. The stairs on my building just got redone and are worse than before (keep in mind this staircase took months to finish). There is no air conditioning in the studio units.

I have been here a year. So far it’s been great, relatively quiet, and the land / apartment common areas are clean! The rent is pretty high, I’d say, and the pet fees are super high (having to renew my online pet screening for $50 when nothings changed, was kinda crazy but).

The rooms and appliances are functional, all the outlets work, but the apartment is not thoroughly cleaned. I have found lots of human hair, dog hair, and dog food throughout the place. Yet overall, the price of rent with most utilities covered is hard to beat around here.

Honestly The Social West has gone downhill since I moved in. The rules don’t apply to everyone. The whole complex is out dated and falling apart. Everything is halfway anymore. Chunks are missing out of the building and wood, it’s just painted over. Whole stairways have been missing for months now on other buildings. There’s material in the dog park coming up and has been since last summer. There’s dog poop and trash all over the place. Our patios and out door spaces are supposed to be tidy yet the trashiest one is right behind the office and it’s been that way since before the last outdoor space inspection. This happens to be where the noisiest, most inconsiderate residents live as well. Like I said rules don’t apply to everyone. Peoples dogs are off leash and run up trying to attack my dog. Luckily he’s not aggressive. Honestly I wish we could move but we get bullied into a new lease 9 months in advance bc if we don’t our rent will raise even more than it already does for renewals.

This is a pretty good place to live. Definitely more on the pricey side, but we have great amenities. Quiet neighborhood (during the week) and the staff is great.

Really great apartments. Pretty expensive, but the amenities make it worth it. Clean area, near some great restaurants and stores. The staff is great.

There are some good things and bad things about living here. The pros is that there is a generally bigger living space if you're in the townhouses and that you get two parking spaces. Some of the downsides include really outdated appliances that seem like they haven't been updated since two decades ago which is a little unacceptable given how much that you pay for rent. And I don't know if it's only our unit but the floors are super loud and squeaky on both the first and second floor. You can expect everyone to know when someone is walking at any point of day due to how squeaky the floorboards are just walking on them. We have a dog and you can hear him moving about because of how bad it is. For the most part, the space and parking is really nice but a lot of the townhouses are super outdated in terms of appliances, carpet, and just generally everything about it. If you can get over that, it's also close to a lot of business and stores that is well within walking distance.
The front office team is responsive and the maintenance team keeps the surrounding areas very clean. I appreciate the cleaning of the hallways floors and stairs in the building because they get dirty very quickly! Happy holidays

Honestly everything has been great so far. The office girls have been great and super helpful. Its close to CSU's campus which is super convenient when you're a student.

Staff is very friendly, maintenance guys are quick to respond, landscaping is kept up. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because they are giving us an extra charge that was not discussed in our lease agreement after 2 months of being here. They just sprung it on us and we didn’t appreciate that.

The social west has been great so far. I moved in in June and the complex is kept clean and usually very quiet. I like the fact that I have a fob into my building and then another key to my door, secure. Staff is friendly and helpful

Very nice studio to move into. Glad that I have air conditioning while it is warm outside. The move in and leasing teams was very nice to work with as I was trying to find a place to live right before school started. Glad the community is relatively chill and everyone seems to be very nice.

Communication was perfect. I showed up at agreed move in time, got my keys, and was able to move right in. During the application process, multiple employees reached out via text and calls to ask if i had any questions. Social West is very quiet with a lot of amenities.

Everyone has been so friendly and helpful and great with answering questions. The only thing that wasn't the best was the unexpected charge for gas and light for the gym and pool. Especially since that was never discussed prior when talking about the contract. Other than that it's been great.
