Walnut Ridge is a small neighborhood about four miles north of Downtown Frederick. This wooded neighborhood is nestled between two parks providing residents with lush areas to play sports or jog. The area’s namesake park is a popular sport for youth soccer games while the park on the northern end has a public pool. Along with moderately priced rentals, renters are attracted to Walnut Ridge’s strong sense of community. Walnut Ridge has an active neighborhood association that hosts holiday parades, recycling events, and other special events year-round. Though the Walnut Ridge boundaries include only residential areas, plenty of amenities reside within driving distance.
Good schools and proximity to major destinations further solidify the area’s appeal. In fact, many choose the area for its blend of livability and short commutes to neighboring towns. Walnut Ridge is adjacent to Fort Detrick while Frederick Community College and Hood College are nearby as well. Baltimore and Washington D.

I have lived here at The Park at Walnut Ridge since October 2023. We enjoy the quiet and accessibility of parking, the gym, and the office staff if needed. We are busy people and don't have to worry about being gone, whether it is a couple hours or a week. The layout of the apartment, the building, the development all work for us. It is also beautiful.

I wanted to share my experience touring this beautiful complex. Charelle was very helpful durning the tour, answering all of my questions with ease. She showed me a 1-bedroom apartment and explained the floor plan specifications very clearly. She even gave me interior designing ideas on how I could arrange my furniture. She was patient with me when I asked questions and made me feel good about putting an application in on the apartment. I am definitely excited to rent in this welcoming and friendly community thanks to her.

I was so please to be able to set up a same day appointment to tour the property. Upon arrival it was a pleasant surprise to be greeted outside the office by leasing consultant Charelle. She was very professional and knowledgeable about the application process. I think she sold me with the amenities details and tour. The 2 bedroom apartment I was given a tour at was absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious and full of up to date appliances. I would definitely recommend setting up a tour with Charelle. She made me feel comfortable and didn't judge me for asking so many questions.

So far so good. I love the experience of owning a home without all the overhead such as lawn care, repairs, etc. Plus it is an opportunity to prepare for my own by being responsible for utilities and an eye for property care. We are in a community, near the mountains, have to convenience of a grocery store, drug store, gas station, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Jamaican Food, Vietnamese Food, Chinese Food, Mexican Food, Italian Food, Pizza along with a Hair Salon, Barber Shop, Loc Shop, etc., within walking distance. Easy access to 15 South and North and I am 10 minutes away from work.

Everything at the park met my needs it has security and a elevator since I'm on the fourth floor and it's very quiet and I'm only ten minutes from work and there's restaurants grocery stor and gas station just minutes away it's a great place to live

The Townhomes are nice and very modern although there are variances in model completeness it gives the sense of owning. Would be awesome if leasing could lead to purchasing at the end of lease term or the builder would complete unfinished areas for those completing a lease term and wanting a new lease.

I enjoy the location and being in a more quiet side of town but still located really close to downtown and everything else too. I love walking the neighborhoods in this area, lots of parks, very dog friendly.

Beautiful view of the Catoctin Mountains. Quiet, beautifully landscaped and convenient to many restaurants, grocery and everyday needs.
I am overwhelmed and very satisfied with the staff , community and more importantly the apartment I am living in. Please keep up your excellence.
The staff and service is awesome. The community is very clean and safe.
I came here last november and I really loves it everyone here are polite and friendly it has nice walking paths and a great swimming pool and the management will help you in anyway they can its just great to live here
The management is eager to help and maintenance responds quickly and efficiently. You definitely get what you pay for considering the cost of living in the Frederick area. It feels very safe and secure as well.
The maintenance crew is always friendly and helpful and if I have questions there they always answer them
The apartment is good for temporary lodging but the rent is never the same. Each month you are charged with a few extra dollars attached to your monthly rent payments. For someone who is on a fixed budget, they must choose between eating or having a roof over their head every month.
Everything about this place has been great from the staff all the way down to how clean the community is kept. It is a real family friendly community
The building is clean and well maintained. The management and maintenance staff are very accommodating and accessible.
