The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Mercer
I can't understand the previous reviews, hopefully these are not fake. I have lived here and unfortunately only experienced negative. For a non-smoking community, was smoked there always and everywhere, mostly cannabis. The pool was closed most of the time or the water quality was so that it made you sick. Ear infections and fungal diseases were the order of the day. The courtyard has been converted into a dog toilet. It stinks terribly and is not cleaned regularly. If you make the management aware of this, you will be kicked out of the apartment. It's already the seventh management in five years, that says it all. Doors are open day and night, there are burglaries and homeless people can be seen on the property. I captured all this in photos. Check different reviews, like yelp about this place and you will never live here.
I have been living in this apartment complex for over a year. Half of this time, six months and eleven days, the jacuzzi was already defective. It has been closed again for more than three weeks now. The rest of the time, you have to be lucky that the water is fine. The same applies to the large pool in terms of water quality. I have endured this for quite a while now, but today has led me to publish these impossible conditions. Even the new management has not brought any changes so far. If there is an improvement in living conditions here in this apartment, I will also publish this with pleasure. There are similar problems on the roof top terrace, where all seating is defective, where you can easily injure yourself.
The original leasing agent never took me for a proper introduction to the property showing me all of the features and benefits. I was never shown where the mail room was. I was not aware that there was a theater room. I never received my apartment checklist. When I went downstairs to talk to the assistant manager I was given a proper introduction to the property. I did not even know my mailbox number.
I HAVE RECOMMENDED THE MERCER MANNY TIMES TO People in this area.
The pool isn?t heated as mentioned during the tour. The hallway carpet needs a serious clean up. The dryer vent leading to the balcony is messy. Elevator access for moving in isn?t efficient and too small. The AC vents isn?t efficient in the master bedroom and too cold in the other bedroom.
The maintenance team is the best team I have experienced, they are knowledgeable and courteous.
The location of The Mercer Apt is very ideal and close to the amenities in Summerlin.
The location is great and the amenities overall are nice. Summerlin prices (relatively high) considering it isn't in Summerlin.
This is a welcoming community and I love how friendly everyone is
Apartment living is not for everyone. Having a unique property such as the Mercer stands out about the rather typical offerings in The Valley.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to people because of the environment and great service. However, the internet and cable fee was what steered me away because I would want my refund
The building seems very secure
All of the included amenities, spacious and modern apartment style.
I would absolutely recommend this community to friends. The property manager, Nicole, really knows how to get things done and is extremely professional. This is a positive change from the last manager.
I have been very happy at The Mercer, which has been a little oasis for me during this temporary stay in LV (my home town) for difficult family reasons.
The ATT coverage is not very good in the whole block and Cox Wifi coverage is not very good outside my apartment but especially bad in the theatre room.
Nice building, nice staff, but needs some deep cleaning.
Loved the features, did not like living in a tower and not having assigned parking
The management company over looking the property is terrible. The lack of communication and transparency is mind blowing. Saturday morning trash pick up is at 5:30am and they will not reach out to republic services to get a new time. The amenities offered when my wife and I moved in were supposed to be top notch they are far from it. Security on the property is non existent, there has been squatters someone help up at gun point and the local neighborhood kids break in to use the pool late night. The police are at our building twice a month or more for Domestic disputes or even the Coroner office Researching deaths. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
The Mercer is beautifully laid out, offers parking, pet friendly, beautiful interiors and a real sense of community.
Love everything about Mercer. Amenities, friendliness of residents, and my apartment. Rent is too high for 1 bedroom compared to other high end apartment complexes. Sharon was the best and loved working with her.
As a single woman, I feel extremely safe in the building. I work odd hours and arrive home and all hours of the night & early morning so my safety is important to me.
Great property, however, the noise level is very high. I can hear neighbor tenants using the restroom, babies crying and stomping on the floor loudly and continuously every day, residents using the jacuzzi and speaking loudly during the midnight and early AM hours, smokers in the garage and directly outside of the building (not in the courtyard or pool areas).
I would definitely recommend this community. My co-residents are very nice to live with.
I would, this community is exactly that a community. I am 3 weeks in and loving it.
Seems like a very great community, clean, and not noisy.
Covered parking, location, interiors, maintenance and office staff as well as amenities.
I’d recommend it because of the parking and amenities. I love the rooftop!
I loved the tour of this apartment, staff and community seemed extremely friendly and welcoming.
I would recommend Mercer for its quality apartments, friendly staff, and nice ammendments
I find the apartments (at least mine) very noisy. I hear lots of street noise as well as the person above me walking around
Too noisy after hours ... During "quiet hours" much too much noise.
I have had no issues ever with anything in our community... My only suggestion would be to modify some knobs to prevent accidental turning on of the natural gas.
It's a beautiful and safe community that seems to take care of its members.
I have always found any issue to be quickly and professionally handled.
Absolutely will recommends. Sharon was fabulous. Kind, knowledgeable, attentive and patient! She is a fabulous representative for the community. I love the amenities, the large hallways and the overall feel and vibe.
I would recommend this apartment because the amenities are amazing. Staff and people in the building are very kind to one another.
The complex has nice amenities and the staff is nice and accommodating.
The community is small enough with 170 units but big enough to have the amenities therein.
It is a lovely, luxury complex. The staff are all wonderful!
Rochelle was such a pleasure to work with. She clearly take pride in her job and the community.
I loved my living experience at the Mercer. The property is beautiful. The management team was amazing!
Easy to recommend because The Mercer, Rochelle, and Sharon are awesome!!!
The leasing agent was the most professional agent that I have met with. I have viewed many other apartment communities in Las Vegas and the group at the Mercer is the most transparent and trustworthy in my opinion.
I would recommend this apartment community because of the amount of inclusiveness that the management offers. By that, I am referring to all of the activities that are put in place to allow the residents to get to know one another.
Great place and fun. Most everyone is very friendly. Great community events.
Amenities are very nice, perfect for anyone seeking apartment living.
My only area of concern is the "street noise". Being on the Grand Canyon side I hoped it would be quietier
I would recommend this apartment community because it offers more than I have ever seen at any development.A lot of thought has been put into every detail to make anyone feel happy and at home.
The rules concerning dogs be kept on a leash at all times need to be enforced, especially in the Courtyard, including late at night. Small dogs are in danger of being frightened or attacked by large dogs. Additionally, others do not need to hear someone consistently calling their dog to come back when they are not on a leash at night when you are trying to sleep. I love dogs, mine recently passed away before I moved here. But they need to be on a leash at all times, especially if they are a larger dog.
