Uptown Houston comprises the area east of Interstate 610 between I-10 and I-69, a large swath of the city that blends the relaxed pace of the suburbs with urban glitz and energy. One of the area’s most famous attractions is the stunning Galleria, the largest shopping mall in Texas, which employs thousands in its high-end boutiques. Nearby, a thriving dining and entertainment district supplies the neighborhood with an eclectic variety of off-hours attractions. The sprawling Memorial Park sits right across the highway, and locals love to stroll through the Houston Arboretum and hit the links of the Memorial Park Golf Course.
The local housing market ranges from single-family homes to high-rise condominiums, with many surprisingly affordable apartments in the mix as well; while the section closest to Interstate 610 and the Galleria tends to be more urbanized, most of the neighborhood is suburban in nature.

Property Ratings at The Majestic
Ok, so when you talk about this place called majestic apartments we are talking about the engineering of this complex. Sign on the dotted line at your own risk. 1. I’m sure they have a mold problem. When a tenant raised a concern and put in a ticket... the only thing done was to paint over the discoloration. Doesn’t mold harm life? More than one tenant has complained about a cough and being sick due to suspicion of the units itself. 2. The mold may be due to the flooding that occurs annually. There’s work getting done on the ditches to make them deeper, but could that really help with such a long standing problem? Why would anyone sit to be the Guinea pig to disprove a false promise? 3. It’s privately owned so the management has changed frequently in the 5 to 6 years. I’m sure there’s a way to research the different times the property has been sold and with each new company and owner comes new rules and new ways. 4. The company aspires to charge premium price for its units as the management today does not waive rent if you get water in your home. Some would say flooding is an act of God and rent is still due, but how are they relieved of liability without promising actions for a solution? They waive no rent while they have prior knowledge the complex has a consistent history of water getting in homes? This makes homes unsanitary. 5. There are no small German cockroaches but there are stray cats within the complex that belong to no one yet get fed by the neighbors so now they are your problem. They hunt and leave dead birds on the floor bcs the cats do not eat the kill. Oh, but you do have the garden small roaches and those don’t infest houses. But they also do sometimes get the large 1-inch wood roaches (the size of a thumb). 6. Anderson park is a problem. There’s gun shots a few times but nothing deadly. There have been gang fights and I’m almost sure there’s drug deals that go unchecked. It’s also messy and it’ll remain messy bcs it stays kind of busy. 7. The parking is a challenge for homes with more than one car. You have to park at either Anderson park or in one of the eight parkings in the front end of the building. Neighbors report break ins into their cars when forced to leave their vehicles at Anderson park. Also, there are parking spaces behind both sliding gates but each side is a dead end and the parking does not loop around the complex. This makes getting into your slot extra difficult with such tight areas. You get use to it though
