The Harlo

My fiancé and I lived in the Harlo while we were working in the Longwood Medical Area. The staff was phenomenal and there were frequent community events that brought the tenant closer. The leasing office was also very helpful and I felt like they actually cared about tenants. If anyone is considering living in Fenway I would recommend this building without a doubt. Only cons were small closet space, especially for 2 people and small kitchen appliances.

I’ve had a great experience at The Harlo so far. The leasing team was super flexible and helpful throughout the process, which made moving in very smooth. Manny and Melvin from concierge are always so nice and welcoming. The building itself is very quiet, modern, and extremely clean. I received my apartment in perfect condition, and everything has been well-maintained. Overall, it’s been a wonderful start here, and I’m very happy to call The Harlo my new home.

I’ve been living here for years, and it’s been a great experience. The apartment and common areas are always clean and well-kept, which makes a big difference. Living here since 2018 has been an exceptional experience. The staff provide outstanding service, handling every request quickly and professionally, which gives me true peace of mind. The amenities and common areas are always spotless and thoughtfully designed, making daily life both comfortable and enjoyable. Most of all, the welcoming staff and sense of community. it truly feels like home.

My first week at The Harlo has been wonderful. Manny and Melvin at The Concierge and the leasing team have been super helpful as I settle in.

I absolutely love showing my friends and family where I live because it smells so good in the building, it’s always quiet and calm and the front desk is always very friendly. I absolutely love that the grills are always clean and available and I enjoy the rooftop space almost every week. This building has made me feel so at peace and happy to call harlo my home. Comfort and cozy feels all the time and a real sense of community always.

I'm very happy living in the Harlo. The staff in the leasing office are always very enthusiastic and organize great events in the building. There are always new events to try out every month which is a great plus. The concierge, especially Manny, is always greeting us with a good smile. The maintenance team is amazing. They always address the maintenance request within 24h, even during the weekend. For example, Jean helped me fix the AC problem in time and efficiently on a Saturday morning. Sob and Chris are always very nice to us. Overall I love living here and happy that I have chosen the Harlo as my home.

The Harlo is an amazing place to live. It central to a lot of city activities and parks. I can go out and enjoy the city life or go on longs walks in the park and enjoying the nature life. The cherry on top of the Harlo is that all the staff are amazing. All I can say is the Harlo is a very cozy place. I love living at the Harlo. Home sweet home.

The Harlo gives a great view and a great city experience hands down. I love living here and the Harlo provides a great atmosphere and community filled with fun experiences and beautiful amenities. You gotta live here for a good time. I’m loving my apartment and neighbors and this neighborhood is very cool!

Especially during Red Sox and Fenway Concert season, I find myself so incredibly lucky to be in a safe, clean, and modern building steps away from all the action. But as soon as I shut my door and windows, all is quiet.

Honestly, I’m really happy with this place. Management is on top of things and always super polite. The shared spaces are always clean, and it’s never loud or messy. There are cool events often, which is great for someone like me who’s new to the city. Also, the people who live here are nice and easy to get along with.

Frequent events for residents like cook outs and other pop ups! facilities are also amazing and clean. All the other residents are very nice.

I live in the best building ever. Im not exaggerating. It really is great. The community is great and the events the building puts together is always a blast. The leasing office crew are the best. I love Rylie and the new intern Lwana. Sobner one of the engineers is the best. The entire maintenance team is on top of their stuff. I love the neighborhood and being so close to fenway park and having the convenience of going whenever i want. Also the restaurants in the area are great. I love being walking distance from other areas of boston and not being too far from my parents.

Manny runs a tight ship at the concierge desk and always has a smile to share with residents. Jonathan and Jesus keep the hallways, lobby and common spaces immaculate Riley and Lindsay in the front office organize great resident events and warmly welcome residents every day.

My apartment searching, move-in and living experience with the Harlo has been nothing less than pleasant. 1. Management office is always responsive 2. The building is clean and new 3. The maintenance team is helpful and friendly 4. The receptionists are very friendly 5. Excellent location at a reasonable price (but be aware it is in a busy area). There was a little bit hick up during my move-in but the management team did their best to resolve issues quickly. Some things to improve: 1. Too many treadmills and cycling machines in the gym that nobody use. Would be nice just to have empty space, or other essential equipment such as leg-press. 2. The music in the office/study area can be turned off (or turned down) during evening time.

I just wanted to express my admiration for the Harlo which does an exceptional job in providing all of the wonderful excellent monthly events, which I truly enjoy and appreciate, and their prompt attention to maintenance requests, and friendly demeanor and overall commitment to creating a positive living environment that are truly valued!

The building is well-kept and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is nice, but it can get crowded at times. On some days, the street noise can be a bit loud. There are great events and activities planned throughout the year; however, those who work late may miss out on them. For wine lovers, there is always a wine night event, although I remember that the choices used to be better. Sometimes, events change at the last minute without notice. There is a basement parking garage, but the fees are the highest compared to other properties in the area. Overall, Harlo is a great place to live; the tenants are quiet and respectful. The management is actively involved and constantly working toward improvements.

staff is wonderful, amenities are wonderful, maintenance is wonderful. units could be a bit bigger for the price, but unfortunately seems to generally fit other price points in the area. location is great.

The apartment is outstanding, and I absolutely love the overall environment in this building. All the amenities are well-maintained, and the management team is exceptionally friendly. The only improvement I’d suggest is adding a coffee machine on the 5th floor—it would be highly desirable!

Move-in was smooth and the leasing team are quite helpful. The building is newly built so all the furnishings are in great condition. The location is perfect for those working around Longwood!

I love living in the Harlo community and recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in the Fenway area. However, I believe the parking should be free for people who live there.

Again another plus for this year that the Harlo Management Team had provided the tenants with so many wonderful special and seasonal fun activities with exceptional delicious food and drinks and social events, which was very well administered in a competent manner.

Being a resident here is great! The amenities are awesome. I need to attend sometime. The management team is wonderful. The maintenance team complete all work orders within a 24 hour.

Great location in the heart of Boston. Close to medical area and diverse restaurants and culture. The Harlo is well maintained and every effort is made to ensure you have a great rental experience.

Overall we have had a good experience at the Harlo. Pros: the best part of the Harlo is the central location. The management and concierge are friendly and responsive, and the building is well kept. Cons: Unfortunately, living in Boston there have been a few instances of pests within our unit. The other con is that there are multiple events each month hosted by the building for the residents, but these are often inaccessible due to the times at which they are offered, and also because they are all food and drink centric (which excludes those with food allergies). The events look great and I'm sure are well loved by some residents, but it's just something to consider that your rent money funds this when rent is high and you can't attend. Nevertheless, would recommend the Harlo and have been happy living here for a few years.
