Property Ratings at The Gentry
I did a walk-in tour earlier today at this beautiful location and Mariam helped me out… she was very kind and explained everything to me to a T and even offered me candy thanks Mariam??
They significantly raise our rent due to renovations on an un-renovated unit. No pet stations near buildings yet they consider themselves pet-friendly and ask you to dispose pet droppings by the dumpsters with overflowing trash and rat infestations. Security here is very minimal, we have encountered/witnessed vandalism, car theft, car break-ins and home break-ins, as well as theft of mail and packages. When it comes to maintenance, expect very minimal effort and terrible jobs when repairs are done. They also now have this new so-called “Amenity” where you now are forced to pay 74 a month for internet! Needless to say, we are already paying 68 with the same company for much higher internet speeds than the ones offered by The Gentry. **Update it’s been two months since The Gentry’s response. They claimed they have ordered more pet stations which is not true since there are no new pet stations anywhere. They installed security cameras to literally watch the dumpsters! I feel safer now that the dumpsters have security cameras. Meanwhile people are getting their tires stolen. Please note my review is directed at the Gentry’s management and their maintenance. The office staff members are by far the nicest people and I know this is not on them.
New management is terrible, possibly worse than prior management. The maintenance department is LACKING and the communication between the residents, office, and maintenance is little to non existent. This property failed to properly/timely repair water damage which caused bad mold and water damage and evicted myself and others for not paying for a health hazard.

The maintenance department needs to improve a lot. Appliances are old and need of an upgrade.
The apartment and complex are very satisfactory but, maintenence issues were my biggest challenge.

The apartments are quiet and nice. The neighbors are friendly and the office staff is super friendly. Everything has been smooth since I moved in and if I have any issues they are taken care of in a timely manner so far.

Basically satisfied after living here two years . Just a bit disappointed that they are saying the rent will go up at least 100 dollars this year after only about a 25 dollar increase this year. Plan to stay another year but may be our last

I love coming home. It's always peaceful and you only hear kids on the weekend and that's not even bad
The lack of communication between the front office staff and the residents, when I first moved in we were notified when packages came in, changes were being made and of any warnings in a timely fashion. Now no notifications of package delivery, and one day notifications if any of changes or warnings. That's unacceptable!
