The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Teak at the Branch
don’t waste your time it’s a scam packages get stolen and leasing office sucks they never answer .
The apartments are nice but don't count on first class customer service. Worst service I've ever experienced in the 6 apartments I've lived in. You can email the leasing office and put your money on not getting a response back...ever. I pretty much still email them just to have a paper trail, knowing I'll never get a response. Oh- and don't plan on using the workout rooms- half the equipment doesn't work and nobody cares no matter how many times residents complain. And while we're on the subject, when you're given a tour they tell you that they have trainers come in and give free workout classes, bootcamps, yoga, etc. and that is a lie. They don't.
Building in great shape and amenities are excellent. Management team and maintenance are attentive and fast.

I lived here for 12 months, and I was the 11th person who lived on this property. The staffs change every month or week, and don't be surprise if you see new faces (they are nice tho). Second, my lease expired 8/1, and I moved out everything before that. There office hour is from 11-6(when they did not have anyone lives here, the office hour was 10-7). I returned the key as soon as the office opens on 8/1 and they charged me an extra night. So, I called Janelle, assistant manager for the branch. She had a "you better pay this money" attitude, and said you could drop the key at the box. This is not only not fair for me, but also not fair for your colleagues. Your attitude caused they loss many potential clients, and have a bad review on apartments.com. However, one good thing about this property (WHOEVER LIVES ON THIS PROPERTY IS SO POLITE AND AMAZING!)

If you have any qualms about noise levels, I suggest you STAY AWAY. I live on the 3rd floor and I hear my upstairs neighbor - every - single - day. I don't hear her TV, I don't hear her music, I don't her screaming or talking. No. I hear her walking. Up and down the hallway - up and down the hallway - in the bathroom - out of the bathroom. When I toured this place, they said there was sound proofing between the floors. And just like on the Maury show, that turned out to be a LIE. I lived in an older (1980s) complex before "upgrading" and moving to this completely brand new unit with luxury amenities and never heard the guy who lived above me as much as I hear my upstairs neighbor. Maybe she has lead feet. And what can I do about it? Complain? "Oh, sorry, could you walk softer?" I'm sure that would go over well. I never hear any other noise from her so I can't really complain. Now I'm paranoid about how loud I'm walking! I live across from the parking garage and it never bothers me. Also, ANT infestation in the bathroom not long after I moved in and like the previous reviewers - would wake up with bites. Bought some ant baits at Target and they seemed to do the trick. Dishwasher doesn't dry dishes all the way - everything is always still pretty wet after the dry cycle. If you live near the courtyard - all the dog owners use it as their personal dog park and let their dogs run free - now I love dogs, but sometimes it sounds like that scene in 101 Dalmatians where all the dogs are barking all over London - right - outside - your door. My friend who also lives hear says there is a resident portal, where you can pay rent, see your rent plus utilities total, etc. I was never given this site nor any login information to any portal. I never knew it existed. I called one day to gain access, the front desk took my e-mail. I've still never seen this portal. So I just add my apartment utilities to my rent and hope I'm in the clear - it's like a guessing game. All of these perks for the price of a mortgage. Now I do enjoy the gym, the parking, the balcony is spacious, and most importantly, the location. Had to throw in a few positives since I'm stuck here for the next year.
I have lived here since it opened. I do enjoy my unit and the building and all the facilities. Everything seems to be working now. There were ants at first but any new construction will likely have this issue and it seems to have been handled. However, the staff. Oh my goodness. Not sure where these people came from but the level of scary incompetence is astounding. The way packages are handled differs from week to week, you never know if you will be alerted or not, you may get it days after it was initially delivered, even if it is a food item: grocery delivery, flowers, etc. The online portal is a complete joke. They literally told me that they get too many emails to check them all so to come in during business hours if you need something. They have a guest registry system to allow people access (ie cleaning service, dog walker, etc) but will still deny access to everyone you register and make them call you, if they are in a good mood, or make you come let them in, if they can't be bothered. No one seems to know when valet trash actually gets picked up. Turns out my neighbors were told a different schedule than I was, front desk lady told me a third schedule when i tried to clarify and reminded me that i could be fined if i put it out on the wrong day at the wrong time. So if you like the floor plan, the amenities and location, but can live here without interacting with these people EVER, you'll be good to go. :)
This deserves 0 stars! Totally agree with the review above and have a laundry list of awful experiences to add. How the heck do you get out of this lease, as they have a no lease break policy??
-I lived at the Teak for one month during the summer of 2015 and it was the worst apartment experience I have ever dealt with (I have lived in many apartments). -The unit I moved into was infested with ants, and I woke up almost every day with ant bites. I spoke to several members of the staff about this issue, including the manager, and it was never resolved (they never even sent maintenance to even look into it!) which resulted in me having to move out after just one month and spending $800 on movers. - Unless you live on the top floor, you will deal with horrible noise from your neighbors including stomping loudly across the floor and partying at all hours of the night and into the early morning (you will not sleep). The staff will also lie and tell you there is soundproofing between the floors (there isn’t). - I paid a $1000 pet deposit when I moved in, $500 of which is refundable, and this was never returned to me. The manager and entire staff are completely unprofessional, rude, and do not care about the residents. All they care about is making money and stealing deposits. -BOTTOM LINE: From personal experience, I would advise not to move to this complex or any of the sister complexes next door to the Teak!
