!! I’m leaving this review to warn future renters: it's 2025, and the same problems mentioned in older reviews are still happening. That alone should be a red flag. Management has clearly had time to fix these issues (decades because this property was built in 1996) but either can't or won't which says a lot about how they operate. Do your research and proceed with caution. So our move in date was pushed back further which was no problem to us but the day of our move in, we found missing smoke detector, sink baffle, ring around sprinkler, broken and busted cabinets, holes and cracked on crevices of walls and floor trims, different species of roaches everywhere, grimey dirty outlets with some not even sealed to the wall, MOLD and dirt inside the closet next to the restroom that was painted over when we asked to be removed! Our mail keys didn’t work and our front door wasn’t closing all the way. The slip they gave us of how to use their alarm system was useless because there wasn’t even an alarm system put in! And so much more I could write a novel. The district manager came to have a look 5 days after move in, saying that they will get everything replaced and fixed. Yet it’s been over a few weeks now and with all these issues being addressed, maintenance has not fixed all the issues and the maintenance work that does get “fixed” is poorly done- painting over dirt and hair, using caulk over a broken piece of cabinet. Their “premium upgrade” comes with raised plank flooring and new countertops that sit directly on old cabinets that just gets repainted over. The property’s website states “Luxury and lifestyle,” but truly there is nothing luxurious here except the luxury it provides for the roaches. So is this “luxury and lifestyle” for humans or roaches?
Have lived here for only two months and I see ROACHES in my home almost every day!! Had my apartment sprayed twice and I have to keep Raid on hand - disgusting and ridiculous. ROACHES on my kitchen counter almost daily to greet me when I'm making coffee. So gross!!

Gates broken for months. Not the safest neighborhood for people wandering thru the property in vans dumpster diving in the middle of the night.for the rent prices it's not much to ask

The security gates have been broken for months with no notice that they are to be fixed, and after getting robbed personally along with other tenants cars broken in to, you would expect a little more attention for the amount that rent costs. Non-locking entry gates, pool gates propped open and the courtesy of the pool area closing at 10pm is not observed.

I am the person who reviewed Sonterra back in April 2018. It is STILL an amazing place to live. I am baffled why anyone would write anything negative about them. Management has always been helpful and maintenance is very thorough and when its something that needs immediate attention it gets it. Over 3 years here and no plans on moving anytime soon. It's such a great location too, everything you need is right here around you. Don't hesitate to live here, it's so great all around.....

i moved in 3 weeks ago and it's a wonderful place to live! I had minor issue with the a/c and it was immediately fixed. the other tenants are so nice. plan on staying here for quite a while....
Worst apartment to live in. People bang At the wall in middle of night and early in the morning. Worst service if some appliances are out of order!!
