I did love living here for a while. I did lose AC that took them 3 days to fix, but regardless the spacious apartment was nice and I loved the design. I stayed in the A1. We were going to renew our lease but someone stole my car. Gate is always broken and there were so many times previously where someone wheels were stolen or window broken. In the year I lived there, there was 3 break ins, about 7 wheels stolen, and my car was the 2nd of the year. be prepared for that if you move here. I honestly believe it was someone in the complex due to the frequency. we were a hidden apartment so it wasn't someone who happened to be passing by. It also happened much more frequent in the buildings across the street. the complex takes more care of the ones that are attached to the front office
I really wanted to move here for the unit but the office is this unresponsive. I'm going to have to pass.after I reported my lack of interest in unit the agent Deja called me to ask if it was OK if they kept my application an admin fee. At this point I just wanted to be done with them. Then they proceeded to send me an email of a move out invoice of $150 because they had to generate an electronic lease. I have never been so disappointed with a property management company/leasing agency this is disgraceful that they would treat potential residents like this ignore them until they don’t wanna move in. And then they wanna send bills. If you are thinking about moving into this place please do not do it or have the patience of a saint because they will ignore you up until the point where you are either complaining online or you go there in person every single day. The apartments are super nice I will give them that but if their agents continue to ignore people and not respond or answer calls It’s going to be hard to get people to commit to moving here for 12 months on a lease. And if you’re thinking maybe it’s not that bad. I thought that too I looked at the reviews and I said maybe those are old issues because this place looks so nice I can’t imagine they have that many issues. But please believe the reviews I did it and I regret it.

My husband and I have lived at Sommerall Station for several years now and couldn't be happier. Ever since the new management company came in last year there have been many great improvements to the property. The new club house, fitness center and pool area make it feel like you're living at a high end resort. I'm so happy they added a dog park too. We just transferred into one of the renovated units and absolutely love the modern finishes! You can't beat the location either. Any restaurant or store you can think of is within a mile drive. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a luxurious, clean, safe place to call home at a reasonable price.

Welcome to the West, I want to tell you that if you plan to move to these apartments, you will think twice, in less than three months they have robbed me twice, my family who also live here have also been robbed on different occasions, then you go to the office to put the complaint and they simply tell you that they are not responsible for your safety, so I wonder how it is possible that an apartment complex is not able to have a security, have security cameras, a place where you have to pay for it give a key to enter the condominium, that is not your priority, leave me and I explain the priority of them, charge you for adding to a person in the contract that I am not sure if it is correct or not because sometimes they have charged to a person and suddenly they tell him that they are not going to return that money, they return the mail packages without any reason even knowing that the address is ok and that the person lives in that address, another part of the job. Garlic of them is to ensure that trucks are not parked outside the apartments, trucks that are their own tenants, hard working people but there if they call you the police, that's what they pay attention to and not they are able to give you protection and to solve the problems that are really worthwhile, other is to tell them the quality of the work of this administration once more WELCOME TO THE WEST

Read your lease and give 60 day notice if you aren't renewing. I obviously haven't signed a new lease, but I am being charged for days after my lease is over, which is crap. I signed a lease for a year, but because I didn't tell them I am moving, somehow they are able to charge me for days I'm not even responsible for because it is not part of my lease term. Not to mention There are 4 bars missing in the fence right by my window and the grass was tall enough to make Hay Bales for 2 weeks. Ever heard of customer service? Or sending out and email asking if you wanted to renew because you would face extra charges? Nope. There is a reason that this complex is extremely vacant and they try to charge people leaving to make up for it. There was a helicopter circling our apartment looking for a fugitive on teh run a week ago. Crime is everywhere and the drugs are bad especially in Phase 2. don't live here.

Hi my name is sharon papia. Great staff, nice maintenance people, pretty landscaping, clean property, complementary coffee & tea, Beautiful pool area, fun parties and contest they have, workout room very nice, no bug problems ever, well insulated walls, layouts are very nice, incentives to renew lease early sometimes they give prizes or money off your rent, feel very safe living here, nice security guards, the gates work real good, mailbox area never had a problem with it being broken into or messed with, free popcorn sometimes available and leasing office, Nice big bedroom closet, they send out letters to make sure the property remains clean , my husband and I are very happy living here and we will continue to live here as long as we can????
We have lived here for over 6 years. We have always felt safe and the staff in the office is wonderful . Stacy is the most amazing manager and always takes care of her Tenants! I would recommend living here. I have told many friends about this place. !
Bad customer service, they look at you less, thinking that you cant pay their rent, this lady in the front looked at us and didnt let me finish when she said that we had to get a 2 room apartment after our baby was 2 years old, its not up to them, its up to us, she is small and cant sleep by herself and not even have her own room, ridiculous, its up to us since we are the ones paying for it. Very rude to us, those apartments were my favorite and i was really looking forward to look at it.... Disappointed.
Property Manager at Sommerall Station, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to submit this review. I am very sorry that you were disappointed with this situation. We are governed by the Fair Housing Act. The property was correct to explain this scenario before leasing. Occupancy limitations are in place to prevent overcrowding. This is fully explained in our Statement of Rental Policy. We hope that you and future prospects understand that there are some decisions that are not up to us. We wish you the best as you search for a home.
The pros: Updated apartments. Newer style and spacious. Convenient location in Copperfield/Bear Creek area. Near major shopping and dining. Management is friendly and responsive for the most part. Although work orders take forever to be executed. I pay just under $1200 for 2 needs and 2 baths The Cons: The neighbors are all from the bottom of the barrel. For every person who qualifies to rent an apartment, there are 3 others tagging along with them to reside there illegally. This ruins the quality of life. Management seems to turna blind eye to it. But they're very good at not overlooking any fees you owe them. This creates over congestion in the parking lots. Takes away from the convenience of parking. And it causes you to look over your shoulder when coming and going. Police are frequently called for domestic disputes. Neighbors are inconsiderate. They leave trash bags outside without throwing them out immediately. They are inconsiderate, all across the board. There is an ongoing issue with pests. For the most part, they keep on top of that with regular extermination. But they don't seem to treat the outside perimeter. There are a lot of outside bugs - including those flying cockroaches. Overall.. It's better than average for what you pay.
Hardwood floors. 42" cabinets, office area cove and bay windows in dining room. Fans and pendant lighting. This middle aged woman was not looking for a starter apt but not wanting to pay $$$ for what I expected at this point in my life. Perfect! Also 2 pools, 24 hr fitness that rivals membership clubs. Great staff!
I immediately felt at home the moment I moved in. My apartment is spacious, airy and inviting. The neighborhood offers everything I need within a very short distance. Wonderful shopping including bookstores, clothing stores, top grocery stores, movies and medical care are all a few minutes from my front door. The office and maintenance staff are very attentive to the needs of their residents. I had a plumbing issue Christmas Eve after the office closed for the holidays. The on-call maintenance man, left his family and came cheerfully to my aid.
This complex has the feel of a beach resort, from the super fancy pool to the landscaping and building design. It's very surprisingly affordable, especially when compared to the other complexes of this quality in the area. Management is always Swift to address any complaint. Lastly, almost any store or restaurant you could ever want is within 15 minutes of the complex.
