Long time resident, great building We have lived here for 3 years and just moved into a new unit to start year 4. Major shoutout to James and the office for making the process smooth and hitch-free. Loving the new space and excited for the next few years. Thanks!

A Wonderful Place to Call Home! I had a great experience living in this apartment. The management was always responsive and friendly, and the building was kept clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood felt safe, and everything I needed was close by — shops, parks, and public transportation. My neighbors were respectful, and it was always quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home and is managed by people who care, I definitely recommend this apartment!

All questions answered This has been a very good experience, despite having no hot water. Jeff was amazing, answered all my questions and solved all my problems.

Mixed experience There were a few items that made this building a frustrating living experience: - the elevator situation made us genuinely uncomfortable to have guests into our home or to leave our apartment with ease. - we had guests come to the building who retreated poorly by building staff, despite the fact that they were parking in the standard visitor spots - cars in the parking lot were broken into including our own and the building knew about it, but didn’t do anything to increase security or send a message to the community for awareness. - cars parked in the visitor lot were there for seemingly months, using up the already limited visitor parking. - The communication from the management office was overall very lacking for how expensive the building is One bright spot is that Caesar is the man. The custodial staff was great overall.

Loving our new home The apartment is cozy with a lovely view and great amenities. The neighbors are friendly and the building is kept clean. The elevators are the only issue as they are essentially always in use during certain hours of the day. At least 2 more elevators should be built to better service residence. Otherwise, I'm enjoying my time here.

I would recommend this apartment community because The staff is very friendly and the people seem very nice.

The only real complaint is the lack of considering some of the residents. Maintenance requests are handled promptly. Staff is great to deal with. Friendly and helpful. Noise level is minuscule which is fantastic. Apartment size is great. Covered parking is also a major plus. Only non resident complaint is security isn?t the tightest. Someone can easily gain access to the garage in the back and then the back stairs is open. The back elevator door on 2 is rarely latched so access can be had there.

This is the best community house I have lived in so far, as well as the standard of living or service

I have no issues, however ongoing tenants should be offered some of the new improvements and upgrades.

The amount of times the emergency alarm goes off is insane. It has to stop - honestly tainting my view of this building. Also there have been several changes that have been made in the building with no notice (front keypad, package system, where to find dolleys, etc)

#1 building fair alarm goes off too frequently. It is a huge hassle to be woken up in the middle of the night to have to evacuate. #2 Package room is worse & less organized than it was prior to the renovation. There are no longer enough shelves. Boxes were frequently in just a disorgainzed pile on the floor. Too many people live in that building for the package room to be disorganized. In the past we would get an e-mail if a package was in the package room but not in the Amazon hub. I appreciated this service. In the past year is a surprise package was sent that didn't fit in the Amazon hub I would have NO way of knowing. Thank goodness a friendly neighbor allerted me to the box that had been sitting there for a week. It would be nice to have more shelves to get the medium sized packages off the floor & organized. Or even better put the Amazon hub back where it was in the garage so the package room could have more space with more shelves. #3 There were times when an elevator was broken, one was reserved for a move, & only one available for everyone to use. It could take 15 minutes to have enough room to loan onto the elevator. Please do everything possible with the maintance of the elevators to prevent any being broken.

Durant is good. James is not. Elevator issues to often late night fire alarms are out of control. Safety is a concern with car thefts and breakins.

Maintenance is always friendly and courteous most of my service request are addressed in a timely manner the staff is also very nice they greet you in a kind and caring manner and this community is downtown every thing you need is just a small walk around

Staff is great but my door is still not secured enough with just the bottom lock

The great part about this apartment is that the maintenance crew is so professional, knowledgeable and always respond quickly. They always do a great job. Thank you.

I would not recommend the apartment because of the construction happening that echoes off the building and is very loud all day. Also because of the monthly fire alarms that happen in the middle of the night. I have also heard of cars being broken into even though there are fobbed garages.

I would highly recommend Sofi to my friends. I and my daughter are very happy here.

I would recommend with a condition of not to stay in 5th floor with the rat infestation.

We love all four of the men who do maintenance here at Sofi 50 Forest St! I trust them all in my home while I am out. They all are prompt & do an amazing job.

We like the downtown location and the efficiency of the maintenance staff.

I would recommend Sofi @50 Forest as a great apartment community to family and friends. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, hospitals, etc...And I always felt safe no matter what time of the day/night.

The guys were so friendly, efficient, and considerate while I was on a work call during their visit. They were lovely to my dog (who can be very protective of his space) and were all around joys to work with.

My dog was attacked on Sofi property. Management did nothing for me. Elevator service is very slow.

I've lived here several years now and the administrative and maintenance personnel are A+.

Maintenance is consistently on top of it when you report a request. Also friendly and quickly resolve the problem.

I am very happy here. The building is very well maintained, the apartment is excellent and the staff is very professional, polite and efficient. I highly recommend this apartment community.

The place is beautiful. The residents are all so nice and have created a lovely little community here. The only complaint I have is tidiness in the back part of the building by the dog park. Just hoping for a bit more maintenance in terms of the gravel, debris, and cigarette butts all over the place.

very solid living place quality, which is expected for the price. However, I have found that office personnel can be slow and unresponsive to requests ad inquiries

Amenities, location and parking is great. Would not recommend for continuous renovations, breakdown in garage doors and security systems in place - no hallway cameras and door constantly broken allowing outsiders access.

Fantastic location. Good sized rooms but a bit tired.

My biggest issue with the building are the elevators. They are horrible! There are only three for a 17 story building and one of them is constantly not available due to someone moving because the building doesn't have a service elevator.

Only other thing I would suggest, is allowing a bit more time on the elevator, maybe because we're a three bedroom the four hour window was tight and we ran over time. Mgt was helpful though.

I’ve been in this building for 3 years. It’s in a great area right in downtown and close to bars/restaurants/stores. The area is quiet and there’s a park across the street. It’s the best value in terms of what you get for the rent - and that’s mainly the reason I stay while I figure out my next move. However, over the past year I feel the living experience has really declined. It’s like living on a construction site. Constant apartment and building renovations - from 8 am to 7 pm. Apartment renovations are never-ending and completely disrupt the day without notice. Drilling, hammering, painting, broken or closed garages and elevators. All while we’re stuck staying/working at home during Covid. I’ve been on important work calls that are suddenly disrupted by loud drilling. There’s even construction noise on the weekend on occasion. What’s worse is management doesn’t give you a heads up, and when you try to call to get information a) no one answers b/c no one's ever at the front desk b) the person who answers has no idea what’s going on c) they give you a non-response and don't care. We’re just supposed to understand that they’re renovating the building. I’ve been told to try working from somewhere else, which I would actually consider if they gave you any notice. No one wants to listen to this noise all week long, morning to night.

Everything is always under construction, ripped or torn. Construction is noisy as I try to work at home. Elevators are inadequate.

Good apartment. Great location-50 restaurants within about 1/2 mile, many more nearby. Follow up and closure on issues poorly managed. Last bill came after a collection service called us, nearly three months after we moved out.

The location is so convenient. We love our view of the park. The floor plan seems to fit our needs. We would have no reason not to recommend this property.

Great community, but the elevator service is awful. There are just not enough elevators to service this apartment building.

Seems like a very accommodating building. Lots of cool perks (pool, balconies, park, tennis courts) that makes it awesome!

Great location and shuttle service to train. Decently sized apts with nice amenities. Slow elevators and dated decor but that seems to be changing.

Competitive pricing for Stamford 2 bedroom, off street parking, good building construction (can't hear neighbors).

The level of service, attention to detail and quick response has always been consistent since I've been living here. The entire staff is awesome and pleasant to see and interact with. The location is great too. Walking distance from restaurants and stores and I always feel safe here. So yes, I would recommend this community to family and friends.
