One of the standout features for me was the location, Silver Star is conveniently situated near major shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation, easy access to 610/ 290 and downtown, yet it's in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood that offers a true sense of relaxation. Whether I was commuting to work or enjoying a weekend out, everything I needed was just a short drive away. The property is well maintained has been in the community for over 30 years. It is gated and there are security cameras. Recent updates to the property have really improved the appearance and comfort. The management team is outstanding—always professional, approachable, and quick to respond to any questions or maintenance requests. It's clear that they truly care about the residents' comfort and satisfaction. The amenities are nice with a fitness center, a sparkling pool, and a cozy clubhouse for residents to enjoy.

I have lived in these apartments for eight years now, and there is a reason for that. The property is pretty quiet day and night, the residents are friendly, and it is located in an area that is close to the Galleria, Downtown Houston, Memorial, and the Heights. The property manager does a great job at maintaining the property - I constantly see workers maintaining the landscape, picking up trash, repairing and upgrading the units. Whenever I have a concern, the property manager and workers are responsive and works with me to resolve issues. If there are some downsides, it would be that sound proofing is minimal to nonexistent on the second floor, so you can hear everything that goes on upstairs (I believe second floor units should have carpet for that very reason). Invest in a white noise machine. It helps so much! Traffic in the neighborhood, especially on Mangum, can get irksome in the evenings but flows pretty well throughout the day. There are very few parking spots for visitors, so be aware of that and plan accordingly (parking for residents is fine - never had an issue finding a spot). Overall, I have been pretty happy staying here. It was on a whim that I dropped by to sign the lease, and one of the reasons why was that the property manager was been (and has continued to be) a real jewel.

I have lived here a long time and I enjoy the quiet homey feeling of the complex. It is well maintained and clean. There are a lot of working families with children living here because it is so family friendly and quiet at night. The maintenance staff is on top of the job keeping it up and the manager is always responsive and friendly. This is a great place to call home.

Have been living here for about 3 years, and overall have enjoyed it. It close by to major freeways and has relative good location to many good food places. The manager is very kind and always helps out when needed.

Recently moved in, love my apartaments and the neighboors are very nice! Once i moved in all fixtures were fixed immediately.

This apartment is located in a great location, with plenty to do around. Property manager is very helpful and understanding, i know the property have installed camera which is helpful.

Lived here back in 2012, recently drove past and decided to stop. There has been many improvements around the property and impressive the same staff are still there.
Just moved into a 2 bedroom. Totally renovated with new cabinets, granite countertops, new appliances. All new vinyl flooring plank flooring. Looks like the entire property has been upgraded including the landscaping. Management was very helpful and friendly.

Properly manager takes care of herself over the residence. We have had Bed Bugs moved apartment to apartment while they updated them and doubled our rent. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The pool is never open even before Covid. So sad...
This property is trash! They prefer for their residents to leave instead of them fixing their apartment or putting new appliances or painting or changing the carpet. Plus if your neighbors are noisy at night they won’t do anything. What they tell you is move to a house then. They charge so HIGH for the water. They charge you for EVERYTHING if you want a new key you gotta pay if you need a new mini blind you have to pay
Is not all that good security guard security camera we don't have none of that in these apartments
