We’re living at the Overture for over a year and we’re very happy here. Love sitting by the pool and the wonderful exercise programs. Our guests find the building well kept and it looks upscale. We would recommend living here.
During the almost ten years I have lived here, I have looked around to see what else is available. I'm still here, with no complaints. (other than that ONE resident that can't stop spreading rumors)
I enjoy living at Overture. I feel safe and secure here Management seems concerned about any questions or suggestions I might have.

The building is great and the community is wonderful. However, building cleanliness has degraded dramatically over the past year or so and management has shown no interest in addressing the problem. I would certainly not recommend the building to any perspective tenants at this time.

I will be here three years in December. I lived in my own home and thought I’d live there forever, but it got quiet and lonely, and things kept breaking. When I decided to move I visited many places, but Overture was the ONLY one where I saw residents sitting around, visiting, playing games - and the place was gorgeous! This move has enhanced my life immeasurably. I have a wonderful, spacious apartment, big kitchen, lovely balcony and so many new and wonderful friends. I’m here for the duration - whatever that might be.

I have never used the trash pickup service since my apartment is quite close to the trash chute, and it's no trouble at all to take a 13 gallon trash bag 30 feet or so as needed. BUT, I still pay $25 a month ( think it's that, may be more now). Having been here almost eight years, that's a huge chunk of money ( $25 x 12 x 8 ) for nothing.

Overall I'm very pleased living here at OP. I am sometimes disappointed at how long it takes to get common areas repaired including outside doors and gates since we're all sensitive to good security.

We moved to the Overture from New York just about five months ago. Everyone is very welcoming, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the place is kept clean, we are amazed about how well we adjusted to our new life. Plus we love our apartment, the closets are much larger than I expected, great view and so much more that we enjoy.

We have only been here for three months, and they have been excellent. We hope this continues. Everything seems to work well, the staff is delightful and helpful other members of this community are friendly, the place is clean (the pool and hot tub need some attention) but we feel that the move here has been a great improvement in our lives.

Overture is a nice place to live. There are many regular items that need yearly and monthly maintenance . Pool, cleaning of rug in our gathering area are a few.

Over the 6 plus years I've lived at Overture, the amenities and climate of overture has diminished. The climate has become more restrictive and less friendly. Initially I would recommend whole heartedly that Overture was the place to live. The pool that was once pristine now has dirt in the bottom. The hot tub water is green.

I have been a resident at Overture Plano for 6 years and am pleased with the facility. There is occasionally a little breakdown between request and completion of a maintenance request but it is air-conditioning season and I do allow for those requests to receive priority.

July 4, 2024, It is 86 degrees on the fourth floor. We signed our lease in August, 2021. Told that they were waiting on parts. Now waiting on bids. How many bids do you need. How long does it take. I will be dead and buried before I see cool air on the fourth floor. This is inhumane to the elderly. We live in Texas. I was under the assumption that the building came with air. Never ever assume anything at "the Overture". Tony and dee Handal Management , I am sure you will want to discuss this issue but I think everything has been said, over the last four years.

When I moved into OVERTURE PLANO, it was much better with the team. These various people coming and going is not a way to run an elderly apartment. Locks the door and no one is at the front desk to direct deliveries to my door as it was before. So now I will have to stop shipping because my last one was STOLEN and the delivery left a picture of this delivery. Now things are being stolen. And NOW my bank can not electronic my rental payment which is an evil thing. SO now everything has become evil here.Forcing me to move!!!

I love my apartment and love the people ! We try to support people in sickness and good health! I understand some talk very ugly to staff and feel it’s not their fault it’s owner not listening to important problems needed and fixed ! The air conditioning has been a problem before I moved here and still continues in the hallways is one example ! Jacuzzi not functioning properly and pool is fine now but lost a whole summer last year! This is not the maintenance fault it’s owners fault not greystars problem they can’t do things until approval of powers above ! So let us communicate to powers that hire greystar for management! We always hear we have to wait for approval and it never happens !!

Ongoing lack of pool maintenance is a BIG negative here. No heater, no hot tub, debris in pool, water exercise participants do not secure their ‘noodles’ when not in use, which blow into the pool and obstruct skimmers and interfere with circulation of pool water by trapping debris. Water chemistry is suspect and usually have a green algae bloom in pool.

On site management team puts the effort to keep residents happy and they do a good job. Some residents are a challenge but the team does their best to sooth any ruffled feathers.

Many classes suitable for all. Residents have many activities nearly every day. They have a movie every Wednesday afternoon; another on Saturday at 1 and again at 7. provided by one of the residents.
