Miserable and Unsafe place to live
This place has been one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had. For months, I’ve dealt with unsanitary and disgusting pet waste coming from the upstairs neighbors. Despite multiple complaints, photos, videos, and logs, the apartment management has done NOTHING effective to fix the issue. They promised to send cleaning staff – no one ever showed up. They continue to ignore the problem while I’m forced to live in a hazardous, unhealthy environment. The leasing office refuses to let me break my lease without a penalty, even though they're clearly violating the basic standard of habitability. How is it fair to charge people to leave when they won’t even provide safe, clean living conditions? New renters – please think twice. The management is negligent, unprofessional, and seems more interested in protecting their lease terms than protecting their tenants. No one deserves to live like this. Save yourself the stress, the health risks, and the financial trap. I would never recommend Overlook at Brook Run to anyone.

Every reply is the same. They don’t answer the phone in the office nor do they return calls. The seemingly promise to address the concerns are a joke. In the previous reviews from years ago they reply the same. The owners are well aware of the many issues. Reaching out to them is a joke. Nothing changes if nothing changes

Stay Away
The appliances are not stainless steel Very small counter space. Broken appliances in the breezeway. No pool. Not kid friendly. No maintenance men. Gun fire. Thin walls Office does answer the phone. Not open on Saturday.

My first three weeks here was a disaster and placed me under a ton of stress. There's a really big roach issue in my apartment. I have had to throw my furniture away due to infestation over the last three weeks. Management should really compensate me for my pain and suffering. I did not get to choose my apartment and this is what was given to me. I'm so disappointed in the roach and spider situation. And maintenance takes too long to come in and address issues for new move in priority.

I've been living here for 10 years and whenever I have a maintenance problem it worked on pretty fast and maintenance is always professional and courteous. Thanks to the rental office management my hallway is pretty safe and quiet.

Highly disappointed and appalled
Over the years as a tent changes has occurred for the worst but never has a management decided not to renew a lease" just because". Its because your tired of whats being asked of your job you have chosen to do is any job requirements as a manager in a management position. This management was wayyyy better years ago before the current landlord. Alot of great tents has left because of poor management, miscommunication ,belittling your tenants etc. because the need to bullying on what they feel what needs to be addressed in their time. I would never recommend this property as long as the landlord stands and that position. Is property could do much better if the old property management and Staffing comes back and its form in value its tenants it it may start to earn the value it holds in building its Community back. The staff in the office because one person is horrible. Beware read everything ! An trust no one! Dont try to live here long.

This apartment community is great.
I believe that is a great apartment complex with a great location. Being originally from New York, I needed a complex that was surrounded by stores and local shops that enhanced my accustomed lifestyle. The management is great and is always willing to help. The assistant property manager is the best and she has always been helpful. My only problem is that heat and A/C unit keeps going out. 3 to 5 times in a single month. The maintinance team is quick to fix it but this system needs to be upgraded now.
