Attention to detail I have been living at Oaks at White Rock for three years. When I first moved in, the unit was not ready; it had old paint, worn flooring, and a broken fridge. Since the previous management has been replaced, I reached out to the new management to address my concerns. I have requested certain upgrades due to the poor quality I experienced under the previous management. The new management has made attempts to improve things, but I came home to find that the newly resurfaced tub has marks and scratches. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong in wanting quality service from Oaks at White Rock. All I want is for the tub resurfacing to be done correctly. Now, I can’t even take a shower until Monday when maintenance can inspect the scratches caused by the contractors. At this point, it seems this is retaliation from the maintenance department.

Great Staff Requests for service are taken care of quickly. Staff are helpful, friendly and professional.

Hot water heater Never had a problem with my hot water. Don’t know what it is going on

Thermostat Issues My thermostat started going off the set temperature - sometimes higher & other times lower; at several times when it went higher it would not cut off until I flipped the breakers off. This started just before Thanksgiving but I didn't report it until after the 4-day weekend because as long as I could keep my eyes on it & keep it under control, I didn't consider it an "emergency" per se and didn't want our maintenance people to have to disrupt their holiday weekend. They came on Monday, discovered it needed some small part to regulate it, and it was fixed within 20 minutes. Our maintenance people, as well as our management & leasing people, are always extremely thorough, always professional and a pleasure to work with!!!!!! Thank You!

I Love It Here!!! I love the Oaks personnel - they are all so friendly, so helpful and so welcoming. I love how quiet it is here - I love hearing the birds in the trees and the ducks/geese near the lake. I love that the property was built when the materials and workmanship were important, as opposed to current properties that have paper-thin walls and fancy new appliances that won't last a year. I love my small intimate apartment that wraps me in comfort and peace. Thank You!!!

Love living here I’ve lived here a total of 15 years ( twice) and it’s just great! Unfortunately I will be moving soon for various reasons but if you are interested in apartment living there is no better place ! Beautiful grounds, great management and maintenance!

I loved visiting Oak White Rock! Evelyn was so nice and knowledgeable! I loved the apartment and the property!

Apartment- No work was done when i move in. Upon moving into the apartment, it was clear that the unit was not prepared. No work was done to make it livable. I have yet to receive an explanation for being moved into a space that was clearly not ready. The flooring and carpeting are outdated, and the paint job is unacceptable—especially since it was done over a wasp nest in the garage. I had to repeatedly request that Contina address the countertops and bathtub, and despite the resurfacing, cracks have reappeared. You cannot simply cover up damaged tiles and expect the issue to be resolved. I feel I was treated unfairly and have not received a genuine apology for these issues. The only reason I haven't moved is due to the location and safety of the property. Additionally, I have submitted multiple maintenance requests regarding my neighbor’s air conditioning unit, which creates a disturbing vibration noise behind my bedroom wall. Despite contacting headquarters, this issue remains unaddressed. At this point, I am reaching out to the apartment association regarding the noise from the neighbor's unit. I pay my rent like everyone else, yet my concerns seem to fall on deaf ears. It's time for these issues to be taken seriously.

Overall a very positive experience We had a few bumps in our move in but it was overall a good experience. Contina and Evelyn did their very best to expedite the process. A small snafu with the washer but it was addressed eventually and we are fine with that particular issue. There still are a few items that will need repairing like no hot water in the mater bath, second bath missing towel rack, rings and TP holder and the black railing on the patio. Is is desperate need of painting. I’m sure the maintenance team will address these soon. We really love our new place. Thank you.

Best home ever! The beauty and home like feeling just is the best ever. Location is awesome right by White Rock Lake and Park. Away from city traffic but just yards away from everything you could possibly want or need for shops And Arboretum just down the road. Management on top of everything and maintenance is the best. I’ve been here a long time and love it… this is my second time to live here after moving back from out of state.

Like a well managed village by the sea We love everything about The Oaks. The care and design of our apartment, our neighbors, the village-like atmosphere, the sense of safety, and the managerial care overseeing it all. Contina and Evelyn are attentive and devoted. Dean is so fast, responsive, and competent in servicing and fixing. And all this in a place nudged next to White Rock Lake.

Exceptionally quick response for repair I put in a repair request for a leak in drain pipe under sink. Maintained was at my door with up in 30 minutes and quickly made the repair. I have put in 3 repair request in the 18 months I have lived here and all have been responded to the same day.

Prompt & Efficient Dean quickly responded to my request within 24 hours and the issue was completely resolved to my satisfaction. Well, I don’t have many maintenance request because my apartment is in good working order when I do my issues get resolved promptly.

Maintenance Request My Request was taken care of in a day and the issue is completely resolved as is always true.

My move in My move in was good on Saturday, May 3. The apartment looked good but for a few minor things. 1. light out in the dining area 2. no pans for the burner on the stove However, the night of my first night in, there was a huge rain storm - the next morning I realized that water had come into my house from the front door and my rug was soaked and boxes along that wall were soaked. They are still looking in to this. Otherwise, all seems well and I love my new place!

A Well Managed Home We love many things about Oaks White Rock. It is a gem in beautiful setting. Staff (management and maintenance) are so attentive and respond quickly to requests. We love our neighbors and the wider community of other dwellers. And the surrounding area is full of wonderful eateries, trails for biking and walking...all in a vibrant Casa Linda culture.

Great place My first night at my place there was a huge rain storm and I had water come into my apartment under the front door. I have reported it and they are looking at resolving it. They are very responsive and I know that this will get fixed.

We love living here. It’s well maintained, peaceful and a great community. On top of it all is White Rock Lake, the people’s playground. Running, cycling, walking, kayaking and much more.

Such a shame... After a lot of research, I was very excited to learn more about these apartments, their price, and liked how close they are to White Rock.. I sent an inquiry one day through their page, and even though I never got a response (I should’ve known right there this was a bad sign), I still booked a tour for Saturday at 1:30pm. I received multiple auto-confirmations for the tour, so I figured everything was ok. The day of, I called several times to let them know I was running a few minutes behind due to traffic, and received automated messages the whole time, so I left a voicemail. When I got there, I was surprised to see there wasn’t a soul in sight, and instead a sign that they’d be back at 3:30pm. The hours for the leasing office on Saturday are until 5:00pm, so why didn’t I get any messages that they wouldn’t be there at 1:30pm? Very unprofessional and poor first impression. I hope this isn’t a constant pattern towards their guests/prospective tenants.

I have been living here for 2 years.. I absolutely love it. The White Rock Trails/Park is right in front of the complex, so it's great for me and my dogs. They have a great gym and a beautiful pool. The scenery around the complex is breathtaking. It's completely safe and peaceful. The floor plans are great with a lot of natural light. The staff is nice and accommodating. Especially Kathleen! She's wonderful! Only negative is the small parking spaces, my vehicle has been struck about 3-4 times..leaving dents and deep scratches. :( The parking spots seem to be made for compact cars only.. I drive a mustang so it's a little wider, but still.. those dents and scratches hurt.. lol SUV's and trucks do not fit very well either. There's been times when I've had to get into my vehicle from the passenger side because people have parked way too close to my drivers side. Which is frustrating when you're trying to get to work on time.

Oaks at White Rock is for the nature enthusiast. It is nestled at the edge of White Rock Lake with gated access directly to the park! After a long hard day's of work I can walk to the Sunset Bay area and watch the sun set over the lake with views of downtown Dallas just at the edge of the horizon. In the fall I can enjoy harvesting the abundance of pecans that the squirrels so franticly go after. In Winter we get friendly visitations from beavers in the creek that runs through the back of the complex. Springtime brings beautiful cardinals and butterfly species of many kind. And in early Summer you can expect to see red dragonflies!

Oaks White Rock has the best location next to White Rock Lake with 10 miles of bike and jogging trails. The management and the maintenance team are very attentive to repairs and needs of the residents. Gated complex. Shopping, restaurants, grocery, and hospital within walking distance.

I've been here almost 2 years and I never want to leave!!!! My apartment has a gorgeous creek view and from my door to Sunset Bay at White Rock Lake is only 400 steps!!!! So quiet and peaceful ( Except for just occasionally when someone's grandkids go swimming in the pool ). The office staff is awesome- they throw Christmas parties and a pool party in June with free food and margaritas, with a DJ. My maintenance requests have ALWAYS been attended to quick, fast, and in a hurry. People who visit me are amazed that we are only 5 miles from downtown when it feels so woodsy!!! Only one disappointment is the parking. But even if I come home late from work and have to park far from my apartment NO WORRIES because I feel VERY SAFE HERE!!!

I was very interested, because of the location and the garages. I had three days to find an apartment. I emailed them twice and never heard back. I called multiple times and when no one answered I left messages, I was never called back. The web site gives office hours that are not true, I drove by on a Sat and Sun no one was in the office either time, I waited over 20 minutes each time.
