Although this property looks like a luxury apartment, there is no security enforced. My brother’s rim and tires were stolen. Months later another family member stayed over and his vehicle was stolen. Note, both followed the overly bizarre guest parking policy and they were still victims of theft. You and your guests will always be at risk, stay away!

This place and the people who manage it are the worse. I am a first time apartment renter and at first I thought the apartment was perfect and the stuff matched but overtime staying there were problems left and right. Washer always broke and instead of replacing it they just kept fixing it knowing it was something bigger going own. Ceiling was broke and they never fixed it. Complained about loud noise nothing was done. Walls are very thin can hear standing outside. Front door was off balance so when it rained water came from under door. And the staff tuhh don’t get me started, they made mistakes and errors on several accounts and instead of acknowledging their wrong they continued to keep the lie going until I and several others moved. The week I started moving I saw and spoke to several neighbors who were moving so if you are wondering why they have open availability is because people leave soon as their lease is up!! Was going back and forth with them as well as their property managers and even the president of the so call management if you want to deal with kids running a business go right ahead and apply to lease because that is all that is in office. And price increase is not worth the paint job in the apartments. Good luck!

Our overall experience at this complex has been good. There are several things we like about living here.
I've been living here less than 1 month my experience is wonderful. The staff is very professional and have addressed any needs or concerns I have had. The grounds are beautiful and it's very quiet and pleasant to come home to after work. I would recommend living here to my friends. I jusr hope and Pray when it's time to renew my lease my rent does not go up tremendously. The rate and beautification was why I choose to live here.
Apartments are clean and updated. You'd be surprised how many apartments in the area aren't up to par.

Montelago is a great apartment complex with good floor plan and great finishes. They feel modern, clean and maintained. I enjoy these apartments. Good pool and gym.

Montelago is a quiet community with a professional office and maintenance staff. Grounds are well kept, apartment layouts are really good. I have lived here 12 years and as long as I can afford to stay here I will.

Overall, it's a pretty okay place to live. The apartments are fine. They aren't luxury, and as long as you manage your expectations it will be fine. They don't really fix anything though. You will see damage in the walls they just paint over. You will see where they at some point replaced a light switch and it doesn't fit. There's a gap, or the cover is smaller and you see where it used to be. The countertops are cheap 80s formica that they painted, but the paint is now peeling and cracking. In our unit, the countertop has a bulging spot in the middle that they said couldn't be fixed. I've cut my finger on it not paying attention. The carpet is cheap, and installed in about 5 minutes. It's loose and moves if you move your furniture. There was a spot where there was a gap where the two pieces met and the fix for that was to cover it with glue. This left a hard spot that stabs you if you walk on it. They neighbors are loud, and they continually throw the swisher sweet packages on our patio when they are smoking the goods in the stairwell. The parking is awful, and if you don't have an assigned spot you will have a problem. The office staff is friendly enough, just not very prompt. I assume they are busy. There seems to be a frequent turn-over in the non management staff. In conclusion, it's fine. It's not luxury, and you shouldn't expect it to be. Nothing about the experience is amazing, and without the maintenance problems it would be a better place to live.

The community is in a great location. Parking is horrible, and living here without a garage or covered space would be a nightmare. There are cars all over the place that never move and I can pass 5 with expired license plates just walking to the office. The quality of work by maintenance is what you might expect if you had someone watch a YouTube video on how to fix something and then fail at it a few times. Be sure you walk the apartment you are moving in to before you sign, as they still have yet to repair things on our move-in checklist months later. Overall, it's fine. It's not great, but also not that bad.

If I, and hopefully I will, renew my lease this year it will be the 11th year. I have felt completely at home and safe at Monte Lago but I do know that everywhere you go there will be some sort of safety issue. I have been extremely happy with my stay here and when I come home it feels good to relax and not be stressed out over excessive noise of neighbors or living in a unit that needs a lot of work. The office and maintenance staff are prompt with requests and are friendly and tries to meet any needs you have. I would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment to come here and see for yourself.

I have lived at Montelago for 10 yrs and they have always been accomodating to my service needs. The staff are also very polite and helpful and its the best experience I have ever had with an apartment community.

Love the aesthetics of the place. Maintenance is normally pretty quick. Electric bill is terribly expensive. Like $160 for a one bedroom.
