Property Ratings at Mia LXMI Westchase West
The building has come under new management and with them comes breaches in contracts, raised prices for horribly maintained apartments, and rude staff. They refuse to honor our parking where we have 3 cars for a 2 bedroom apartment. While they refuse to honor our spaces (that we had registered with them before), they charge us an extra $30 for reserved parking that is far away from our apartment (and they refuse to move it) and they take up space by placing 2 mobile storage units that take well over 6 parking spaces! When I spoke to the property manager and explained safety concerns, she ignored them and dismissed me with her having to "think" about it. This neighborhood has people who openly do drugs and the police are often around. At one point, event the SWAT team was in the next door apartments and they want you to park your car out in the streets where they take no responsibility. In addition, the parking lot itself is in horrid condition from pot holes on the road, the main gate being open and broken to rusted carports. Go live ANYWHERE but here

We appreciate your feedback, especially as our priority is the comfort and well-being of our residence. We apologize for your experience being less than standard. Crime can happen anywhere and although we cannot guarantee safety or security, we do our best to discourage it. we actually have taken steps to increase our security measures. Also the rules for parking pertains to complying with the new towing company policies. We do offer alternatives such as providing guest parking as an option which is located inside the community. The repairs such as pot holes are part of our preventative maintenance checklist that we will be attending to in the near future. I lived here lived here for lived here for Three Years Paid my rent on time never late had rats running all over the place They found like 30 rats In my washroom And I had to Spend my money To try and Help get rid of them But they kept coming back kept my house spotless clean At all time I couldn't get rid of the rats or the roachesI looked on my patio one day and there was this huge rat that look like a possum had two more months remaining on my lease had to move For my safety and my grandchildren that was visiting safety And they still charged me and will not give me The number to the corporate office
After only 4 months into my lease I’ve decided that I’ll just have to deal with having a broken lease staying here was unbearable for me I have two toddlers 2 and 3 they gave me a unit on the third floor the openings in the railing are far too wide my kids could easily fall thru. Also within the first month of moving in I received two noise complaints about “we’re walking too hard and they can hear babies running” so management told me when my kids are home to make sure they remain seated as to not interrupt my downstairs neighbor ?? so now I have two unhappy kids who are confined to the sofa. On top of that rent is too high and never the same each month and water is far too high and you can’t even light candles in these apartments take my advice and save yourself a headache and a broken lease
I am happy to say things have changed in the last year. The apartments have improved a lot, especially when the new A/C units came in. I have seen a drastic change in my electric bill since then. Juanita, Martha and the staff are friendly and always willing to help out. I am really looking forward to going into the upgraded unit in the next couple of months. My daughters love this place, especially the pool, and I have seen a great improvement in the cleanliness of the apartments. I love the fact that dogs are permitted in the property, they also need somewhere to live and be loved. I would have only one request and that would be a business center, sometimes you need to print out some stuff here and there and that would be great. I recommend this place as it has been developing greatly. :)
I am very pleased with my apartment. The community is located in a very quiet area where i feel safe, it is well illuminated plus i have my own parking space! I am so comfortable. The office Staff is great. Marta and Juanita did a great job during my move in process. Jose the assistant tech has been prompt with the minor requests that i have reported. I am very satisfied and will refer friends or family to the community.
I moved into this apartment last year July 2015, I have to stay extra 5 days in my family's place because the apartment was infested with roaches. I checked the review of this apartment before I rent it, I was thinking maybe those that post the reviews were exaggerating about the roaches issue. The manager have to beg me to wait for them to do a treatment in the apartment before I moved in, but that was just tip of the iceberg. I was reimburse monetary ($50) from my first rent for the roach spray that I bought to treat this apartment after their own treatment. They told me that the person that lived in the place didn't request for roach treatment for years (I didn't believe them). Anyway to cut the long story short, it was horrible living in that place for 11 months, imagine living with a child with Asthma and you have to spray roaches insecticides everyday? Roaches crawl everywhere in that apartment, they charge you for pest control every month and you still have to go ask them to send maintenance into your apartment for pest control. Water bills keep increasing every month, never stable. Thy don't care about the resident at all, they connive with towing company to tow their resident's car. The new manager is the worst lady, no manners at all, she does not know how to talk to people. I wish I can sue them for all the stress they make me went through living in that apartment. PLEASE BE WARNED, don't fall for the outside paint, it is a horrible place to live. I have a friend that still live there and she has to change her apartment because of the same problem, they increase her rent and told her she is moving into an upgrade apartment with black utensils, it is all a SCAM, the problem is still in the said UPGRADE apartment. Apparently, all the buildings are ROACH INFESTED. If there is -0 star I will give this apartment. I am not a bitter person, I moved into another complex and I am happy I moved out of this horrible horrible place call COPPER COVE APARTMENT.
Copper Cove Apartment is different for each. I LIVE here over 5 year. Huge manager/owner turn over. Contractor breaking in resident vehicles. Rent have increase over $100 for those who been here. Poor maintenance fixing simple things. High water bill. Why!! I am here because trying to move into a house. Not enough parking spaces. Loud music during the night and weekend in the parking lot. Bad roaches. They sugar coating for the new to move BUT not taking of the old who been paying rent on regular. that still have the old rug, old cabinet with roaches inbeded . Manager is over whelmed and front desk just trying to get her check. They don't care once you have moved in. For those who had good things to say is because it have affect them just yet but keep watch. Copper Cove Apartment isn't the place and the neighbor is going down and male just the fence from other apartments. Now, that the true love about Copper Cove Apartment. Just here for a min, watching my back.
Good area and nice apartments been here for three years and the apartments have changed management 3 times since I've been here...the management now is pretty good they handle business...the complex itself is pretty clean and other tenants are very nice and respectful...there are plenty of kids in the area of you have kids there are parks near by and they just built rental homes right across the street
I have lived here for a year. I have the largest 1 bedroom, an upgraded unit. Nice floor plan, nice landscaping, stainless steel appliances, and friendly neighbors. I'm comfortable here, and I am soon to renew my lease. I love it!
