An amazing place to call home!!! The staff makes you feel like family!! The events are fun and well thought out. Not what you would expect living in an apartment!!!!!

I’ve lived here for the last four years. It’s pretty nice. I love the community.

Having resided in Memorial West Apartments for over a year now, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The management is prompt in responding to maintenance requests, and they maintain the area well. The front desk is always ready to assist. Moreover, the community is engaging, organizing activities twice a month for the residents.

My favorite thing about memorial west is the apartment life team. They are always very helpful when organizing activities and things to do for the residents.

Lived at memorial west for two years. Staff is pretty cool and nice. My boyfriend got his wheels stolen here in broad daylight and also our parking neighbor got his wheels stolen. Even had someone’s wheel stone IN FRONT of the leasing office. Seems to happen a lot here. I thought it would be nice living indoors and having a parking garage but it's not. People come flying around the corners like it's a racetrack and then stare you down like it's your fault. Not to mention an accident happened and when you try to report it, it goes unread. Inside your apartment you better be prepared to call maintenance a lot. Upon moving in we were greeted with mold and the issue wasn’t fixed until two months later. Also our ac randomly cut off and wasn’t fixed for a month as well, we did get portable ac but didn’t really help in Houston weather. The doors occasionally stop working and you have to go to floor above and then go down a flight of stairs to come in. The issue doesn't get fixed until a week later. Upon coming inside you get greeted by nasty smelling carpet and mismatched paint coverups throughout the entire complex. (Except the first floor for tours?) they try to clean it but it just smells worse. When you enter your apartment you better love the smell of w**d because you will get a stench of it every time you enter. Overall if you see this review, please choose a different complex. This is your sign. Don't do it.

I lived here for about 3 years. I loved every second of living here, it is a nice quiet apartment. Lots of local restaurants, groceries stores, beauty and wellness centers around. Memorial city mall and city center are also about 10mins away. There's a local postal center right across the building. The amenities are great, staff is nice and maintenance responds in less than 48hrs. Absolutely loved living here, go for it, you wont regret it!!!

Where do I start...I just LOVED absolutely everything about this place! The property was absolutely gorgeous, the grounds were very well maintained, and the amenities were really great! The office staff was very welcoming and greeted me right away. Stacey showed me the apartment, and then she showed me around the community, and she was absolutely amazing to say the least. She was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns, and she made me feel so comfortable. She was the best amenity, and the best billboard for her company that I've ever seen. I would lease from this location solely based on the attention to detail provided by her. I am SO excited and can’t wait till I can lease!

BEWARE!!! Today is the second time my tires/rims/wheels got stolen. 04/29/21 was the first time and today 7/12/22. The apartment complex has done nothing to rectify this. Who wants to live somewhere where their belongings are not safe?? Our bike was also stolen from the bike room around October 2020. We never heard from the front office after the first two incidents, no one even made the attempt to reach out to us for even an apology. I bought wheel locks after the first incident and this still happened. Should I stand next to my car the entire night and guard it??? Since we have been here, we have personally seen over 20+ cars with no tires. Why don't we have overnight security?? How much could it possibly cost to hire someone to stay overnight?? I just finished talking to someone in the front office and was completely blown off. There will be no change and no one cares to actively find solutions for this obvious problem. The gate was also broken for weeks and homeless people would come in, the only reason it was fixed was b/c we reached to them to notified them of the situation. On another note, the parking lot and stair cases are always disgusting. Trash everywhere. The trash cans will be filled to the brim with even trash all around on the floor next to it for days. I see maintenance walking around daily so I don't understand why no one is emptying them. The stair cases are full of trash, alcohol containers, cigarettes... it always smells like weed. If you have a dog good luck finding a bag at one of the pet stations b/c they are always empty. Over $10,000 worth of goods stolen to live in a place that charges way too much and does not live up to its appearance.

Ashford Apartments is a great complex. Amenities are amazing and the location is very convenient. I strongly recommend!!!

I’ve lived here for about 2 months. Staff is extremely helpful. Paige was amazing during the leasing process, answering all my questions and concerns. Kat is also really helpful and great at addressing concerns. Maintenance is fast and efficient. Location is great, easy access to I-10 and close to shopping. It’s also cool that we have monthly resident events and from the one I’ve been to, everyone was really nice and welcoming.

Had a great stay. Quiet overall and amenities were always available without an overcrowd. Staff was always helpful & took care of my small issues right away Great location near parks, good eats & the beltway. Sad to leave but their monthly events for their residents sure made it worth while!

I have lived here for 2 and half years and I love it! The new management is awesome and the people working at the front desk are very kind and helpful, especially Ryan! The amenities are great and the apartment is even better. The place is well secured and safe. The location is great as well. I would highly recommend living here.

My husband and I have lived at memorial west for about 5 months now and we absolutely love it! The apartments themselves are VERY nice, clean, modern, and spacious. We love the staff, they are so nice and helpful whenever we need anything. The maintenance team is very on top of any service requests we have had, any issues we experienced were fixed quickly. We love the valet trash service, the gym, the pool, and especially the amazon hub! Sometimes the hallways and stairwells smell like marijuana, but it was like that at every apartment we have been at so it's expected. Overall, we definitely love living here and recommend it!

The staff is great, and the residence are nice. It’s quiet for the most part, but a lot of in/out traffic. Several floors smell of marijuana.

Great location! Office staff is very caring. Lots of monthly events. I reccomend this community to anyone looking for lavish lifestyle with the perks of an awesome management team.

I am very happy that I chose to live at Memorial West. I have almost no complaints . Any maintenance concerns that I’ve had have been minor and have been addressed immediately. Ryan at the front office was my leasing agent and he was very honest and kind during that experience, he really sold me lol and he made the process very smooth . Now that I live here I am even more convinced of how wonderful he and the other staff members are! They’re always available to help and always pleasant. My favorite thing about MW is that I feel safe and the environment is well kept. My next favorite thing is the location! MW is in a nice community and is right off of i-10. One street over there are lots of stores and restaurants so this is a very convenient place to live and it’s not too loud or too busy. There are also nice/ realistic events hosted by Apt. life team and we have food trucks every Wednesday (consistently) which is a nice treat. In full transparency, I gave 4 stars because they could improve by making the parking garage feel more secure for residents and their cars. People speed in the garage and rev their engines at night, large trucks park on the end parking spaces which makes it hard to see around the corners (perhaps make those reserved spots as well and only allow cars) and I have seen some not so pleasant things happen to cars which puts me on high alert but this IS Houston. I know that Many of these things are out of their control, but more security features would be nice. All in all, I am a huge fan of MW and just recently re-signed my lease!

My husband and I have been living here for close to a year now and we both agree that Memorial West have been the best experience we've had. Like many other renters Im very picky about certain things one of them being security and maintenance response. Both here are great!! fast at getting things fixed and done correctly. security is great as well, doors aren't constantly broken or gates no functioning. It wasn't working one morning and by the time i got back home from work it was already fixed!

So far so good . Moved in , in June and everything has been great . Fast service response ,great communication . Nice and quiet . Love everything

I’ve been a resident at Memorial West for a year and a half, and I have nothing but positive things to say! Anytime I’ve had a maintenance issue, even during the pandemic and the initial shutdown, they’ve been quick to respond! I absolutely love the area (being pretty equidistant to both Houston and Katy). And It just feels safer being a bit off the beaten path yet close enough to everything you could possibly need or want (shopping, restaurants, parks, etc). The Amazon Hub is such a great amenity, too, and makes package deliveries safe and seamless! I’m happy to call Memorial West home!

I've been at Memorial West for almost 3 years now, and I can honestly say that it's the best apartment I have stayed in here in Houston. I've stayed in both the 1 bed, 1 bath, and then upgraded to the 2 bed, 2 bath unit. I loved both. Everything feels perfectly placed in the apartment. I have a nice wrap around balcony that we enjoy. I also love the level of safety I feel since we have a 3 year old child. The Amazon Hub is great because I do all of my shopping online. And the staff is always very helpful. Definitely a great place to stay, and even start a family before your ready to purchase your home.

The apartment complex is a great value. You get a nice facility in a great location. It is right off the interstate and easy to access. The staff is responsive and helpful. It’s a quiet complex with a great pool and the apartments are modern and stylish.

Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Apartments are modern and have great appliances. The apartment layout maximizes the space making it feel very spacious. The pool is an excellent amenity and very nice. Overall a great apartment complex at a great price.

My wife and I have been living at MW for about a year and a half. We have no complaints so far. The staff and management are very responsive and quick to respond to service requests of any kind. A great place to live at with a nice gym, pool, and an amazing Amazon hub locker (makes life easier) Also, there is food truck Wednesday's which we love. Lastly, one thing that we love, is that the MW has a parking garage with elevators! Makes life so easier. **Honest feedback** I would say that they can improve in some areas such as: - security throughout the night to prevent theft of any kind in the parking garage and bike room. My bike was stolen from there. - sanitize common areas more - Replace or fix some of the equipment at the gym. Some machines are missing the pin and dumbbells are missing as well. Other than that, MW is a nice place to live at.

The building is well kept and the apartments are clean with updated amenities. The apartment has a great staff who is willing to help with anything as well.

I moved in 2 years ago. The staff is always eager to assist the residents. Maintenance repairs are done in a timely manner. The property is well maintained and it’s also a fun place to live. Lots of resident events to connect with your neighbors.

This place is in a great location! I've lived in a 2/2 and a 1bd w/ a study, and I've loved both of them. The pool is nice, and the apt life team is great at creating events every month. I will probably renew my lease again.

I have been calling Memorial West home since June 2020. I absolutely love my apartment! The Community manager and staff are friendly and make me feel welcome. The location is convenient and I would recommend making Memorial West your next home!

Lovely and beautiful community! Very easy access to I-10 with out having your back door on the freeway! Absolutely love this neighborhood!

This community has been amazing with all the freindly people to the amazing staff. I constantly look forward to all the amazing events our location has. I also love that they have a mini dog area behind the garage. Amazing place!

I just turned a year as a resident here at Memorial West and it has been really enjoyable so far. The staff is fast and attentive. Plus, they started doing events for residents so that is something fun to look forward to! I just renewed my lease

Love the way the staff keeps people together with the activities they plan monthly. Very clean and affordable apartments. Its a home you'll love coming home to at the end of the day.

I’ve called this place home for a little over 2 years. The property is beautiful. The maintenance staff is amazing and always responsive. The new Apartment Life team is great and with their monthly events, have added an awesome community feel to the property.

Just don't bother. Awful response from manager. Never ending robberies. Halls smell like dog pee. Stairs infested with roaches... should I continue...?

Just do your research and you will see that this place is not safe. 2019 saw multiple car break in's with many vehicles having 2-4 wheels stolen. Can you imagine leaving for work in the morning to find your vehicle on concrete blocks? That happens here and management's refusal to consider at least a night time security guard is baffling. I have not even mentioned the actual unit break in's which have occurred as well. For what they charge in rent here, it is criminal of them to not do more to ensure resident safety. Lot's of talk but no action("We are looking into options but a security guard is not one of them.") I won't give accolades or stars for the positive aspects of the property because of the blatant disregard for resident safety.

On the surface, the property is beautiful with stellar amenities (World Class Pool, Modern Gym, Amazon Hub) and location is ideal (Heart of the Energy Corridor). However, resident security is not a high priority here. I have tried being diplomatic by communicating my concerns with Local Management and Corporate and have still received no valid reason why at a minimum, a night-time patrol in the parking garage is in place. Every resident I have spoken with is concerned and leaning toward not renewing their lease, but this feeling could be easily reversed if we could get an evening security presence. Another annoying issue is pet damage to the hallway carpet and baseboards. Pets are welcome but poor owner behavior is not policed.

Dube and her team are wonderful. Our requests for service and maintenance are always answered speedily and courteously. We recently had an AC issue. Dupe quickly found the root cause and fixed the issue in no time. She even went as far as providing some information on how the system works to our education. Thank you again Facilities Staff! Ive been here for a few months and so far everything has been wonderful. From the amenities to the staff I have zero complaints. Loving the amazon lockers though there was a little hiccup with my packages but that was amazons fault. Katerina in the office is so friendly. Dube and Robert are quick to complete any maintenance requests I have. Move here, you wont regret it!

Great community! Awesome Staff and maintenance (love Kat and Dube). Neighborhood is a plus! Stores and restaurants are near by. Neighbors are really friendly

I had the pleasure of working with Katerina to see if an apartment would work out for my wife and I. We are moving to Houston from Arizona, and not being able to tour the apartment, she went above and beyond to send measurements on floor plans, and photos. She has done more than any other complex has done for us. Highly recommend!
