Ravenna is, in many ways, a beautiful area, with tree- lined streets and high walkability. You can walk to many parks, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc... It isn' t particularly diverse and some areas and neighborhoods are friendlier than others.

homogenous but lots of good restaurants, libraries, and parks. Very fun for young children, easy to drive and walk around.

I love the neighborhood that I live in. Everyone is very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, I live by a ravine, where a lot of homeless people live, so my car was broken into when I first moved here. Besides the burglary, everything about my neighborhood is great.

Ravenna is a short drive from downtown and Capitol Hill but feels much more secluded and like a real neighborhood. Folks say hi to each other and kids play outside, people keep beautiful gardens and the homes are gorgeous. It is much quieter and more family oriented. There is a lack of diversity, both in terms of ethnicity and economically. We rent, but most people around us own their homes.
