Everything from upscale, expensive dining in the downtown area, to tiny Eat Street dives. Lots of awesome non-american food. Plenty of fast-food options if you have to concern for your health or dignity. Great farmers market every Thursday in the summer.

Close to three major highways. Obviously, downtown is frequently congested and parking is a total pain in this neighborhood. I don't own a car, and take public transit everywhere. Ease of access to public transit was my main reason for moving to this neighborhood. Minneapolis is very bike- and pedestrian-friendly.
