Sense of community isn't great, even though people tend to live in the area for long periods of time. There are plenty of parks and pools that make the area kid and pet friendly, but community events are practically nonexistent.

Henderson is a nice town just outside of Las Vegas. It is a good community to raise a family. There are well maintained parks, lots of stores and restaurants and the city's appearance is well kept. I enjoy living here and expect to continue to see Henderson make improvements and attract new residents.
