Overall, we love the apartment and the apartment complex. The front-desk have been very helpful with packages, but we have not had the best experience with the leasing office and move in process.

We’ve been in two units with latitude- the first was remarkably maintained and well set up, for a good price, and the second was just alright. The first renewal had no increase. After that, however, we endured two hikes that were nearly 20% increases. We transferred units because there was almost no price difference between our 1BR rent and our 1BR 1 den rent four months after we renewed. The second apartment was less well maintained- several of the cabinets were misaligned, the carpets were less fresh, and parts of the floor were loose. We’ve had excellent maintenance experiences 80% of the time, though they struggle with major issues (floorboards, walls). They act quickly, which is great for water filter and light issues! Also the package service they contract to is subpar.

Maybe good? Maybe there is better? Latitude is a great building that is maintained well. The everyday staff (front desk, maintenance) are super people with great personalities. The building management is/are ghost(s) and don't empower the front line workers to do well.

This is a really nice place to live. It’s pet friendly, kids friendly ?? and the location is pretty nice. We are walking distance from the Quincy park the grocery and the metro station. Last but not least, the management team is great

Beautiful facility, great front line staff, but expect to spend 10 days to nail down and execute a contract. Not what you expect in a premium experience! Poor IT infrastructure, overworked staff, no management intervention/supervision, and overall worst experience in securing a contract. Bring your patience!

I have lived at the Latitude for 5 years. It's a great location, However, incompetent and unresponsive management, package delivery issues, theft, are a few reasons I will not be renewing my lease. Delayed packages: Residents are forced to pay $21/month for a package delivery service called Fetch. Fetch has a 1-star rating on the BBB and a 2-star rating on Google. Packages must be delivered to Fetch facilities and once delivered there is a delay in being notified of your package. Once you are notified you are asked to select the next available 3-hour delivery window. You can either sign for packages or have them left at your door for your "convenience". Latitude and Fetch like to promote that you have the option to have packages dropped at your door for your "convenience." However, my package was stolen and when I notified the building and Fetch, they both said it wasn't their problem and to not have my packages left at my door. So, when they are trying to sell the Fetch service as a "benefit" they tell you that you can have your packages left at your door for convenience but when you have a problem they tell you not to have your packages at your door?!?! Basically, someone has to be home during the 3-hour window EVERYTIME YOU RECEIVE A PACKAGE to sign for it so your package is not stolen. There are no cameras in the hallways so it's a perfect environment for porch pirates. If you get a package delivered to the Latitude instead of Fetch, they will drop it at your door to be stolen, no notification. Make sure that your employer, friends, family, has both your Latitude address and your Fetch address and that they remember which address to use for what. Or have all your mail inconveniently delivered to Fetch so you can sit around and wait to sign for it! Forget about time sensitive packages if you rent at the Latitude. Safety concerns: There is a concierge that gives the image of safety. A key fob is also required at all entrances. However, the concierge will let anyone up to units which defeats the purpose of a key fob. There is no visitor log, they don't care where you are going or what you are there for. According to management that's not their job. It's also not their job to accept packages, it really isn't their job to do anything. The Latitude used to be a nice place to live. Now all it offers residents are four walls and a fountain made to look like a pool on the rooftop.

I have lived here for the last 3 years and here are all of the reasons I will not be renewing my next lease: Thin walls: Can hear my neighbors talking or having s*x (unfortunately, I’m sure they can hear me too). Can also hear tapping and loud dropping sounds at all hours of the day from the unit above me. Fire Alarms: too sensitive to regular cooking and will trigger the whole building to go off frequently. Cheap windows: Can hear crazies outside and somehow rain gets in often. Dogs: Barking in the hallway throughout the day and night. Children & Adults: Barking in the halls as well. Rent: ~20% increase after first, second, and third renewal. Facing another 20% increase at 4th renewal. Hot water: runs out often, especially if you decide to shower later in the day. Amenities: Super limited, broken, and restricted hours (gym, rooftop + grilling stations, business center, and game room all close at 11pm). Pool table sticks are hanging on for dear life and need to be replaced(+no chalk). Grilling stations (burners are not all functioning, the lighters and lights don’t work, management expects you to bring your own lighter and manually light the gas grill(not safe). Game room rental: used to be $50 an hour and first hour free, now it’s $75 an hour and 5 hours max. Management: will hire the most incompetent concierge staff that don’t want to work and you’ll just have to pick up their slack. Management will often lie to you. Garage Parking: not secure and theft is frequent. $150 per vehicle per month and most nights if you get home late (after midnight), there isn’t a spot left and you’ll have to risk parking elsewhere for the night. When talking with my friends, their apartment experiences are much better within the Clarendon and Ballston neighborhoods.

I have been living in Latitude apartments for a year. We have renewed the contract because we feel very comfortable here. The apartment and its amenities are very comfortable. The employees are very nice and are always willing to help us with what we need. The location is unbeatable. It is close to the subway, the park and the grocery . Generally, Latitude is a good property, with friendly and helpful management. Requests for maintenance have typically been provided in a timely manner. However...communication with residents about significant problems and issues on site (broken elevators (in one case for multiple months), hot water heater, fire alarm, and the broken garage door, and misc. problems with the building over time) has shown room for improvement. This is true across different management teams who have been on site over my last 5.5 years as a resident. A little proactive communication would go a long way.

We love the Latitude community. The leasing office, concierge, maintenance, and cleaning staff are great! The amenities are also really nice. The location is very convenient being right across the Virginia Square metro.

Very happy with our decision to live here- between the metro, the 38B, and the georgetown shuttle, we can get anywhere we want; the roof, bike storage, and gym amenities are well maintained and useful; maintenance is amazingly responsive; and, there’s lots of small perks you get like random cocktail workshops where they deliver ingredients or free meal prep trials here and there. Overall a great place to live!

Do not live here. The rent is too high for what you get and Greystar is not a good management company. They took away all of the resident services during COVID and did not lower rent.

Latitude is an excellent building with quality amenities and a great location for: individuals who need to commute via the metro, and those who prioritize a welcoming neighborhood. Latitude also provides superior floor plans to those of comparable rent rates in the Arlington area.

Overall, I have mostly enjoyed living here. The staff is friendly and helpful, the appliances and finishing in the unit looks great, and the location is amazing. Super close to the metro, Ballston and Clarendon, and Giant. I've called maintenance a few times and they have always responded quickly and pleasantly. The gym and rooftop are also great amenities. My biggest issue with the building is how thin the walls/ ceilings are. I can hear anytime a nearby neighbor has a few guests over, and I can even hear the footsteps of my upstairs neighbor through the ceiling. Overall though, besides the noise, it's a good place to live.

Latitude is really a great place to stay! I am glad we found this place. The staff, especially the leasing agents, are amazing! The appliances and finishing in the unit is of a good quality and modern. The place is clean and bright. The location of Latitude is also great because the metro is directly across the road and the Giant store is walking distance away. I've called maintenance staff a few times and it has been a quick and pleasant experience. The complimentary Hello Alfred service is also nice to have! I definitely would recommend Latitude as a place to live.

I have lived here for less than a month, but so far it has been great! The place was well prepared for me to move in, the management team has been so friendly and helpful, and its so convenient to have a nice 24/7 concierge desk!
