I’m sold!! I’m new to the area and recently toured the property and it immediately felt like home! The office staff are hilarious and I’m very impressed how accommodating they were. I was a bit indecisive about the unit that would be best for me and they showed me several floor plans and answered my many questions with ease. I was quite surprised that this property has two pools versus what I assumed was one from the website and the fitness center is much larger than most! They have been very responsive to my many follow up questions! Shout out to the manager she even joined the post your questions and it made me at ease.

Overall lakeside urban center is a nice quiet place to live. When moving in I was told the apartment would be painted however it was not and the room was very dusty. However, after cleaning the apartment it is now a comfy and nice place to live. Great areas to walk too.

Property is not upkept. Residential hallways are filthy & stained. Gym is never cleaned or stocked with cold towels. Stairways are frequently cluttered with trash, leading to fall risks. Poor maid service that doesn't fulfill its responsibilities. I've even noticed maids dumping residents' garbage bags directly in front of their doors, obstructing egress routes, in some kind of petty and vindictive spirit. Many of the stairway door handles are broken and have been so for a year or longer. The pools and elevators are PERPETUALLY down for maintenance. Insects in the hallways. Since this new management team rotated in, respect for residents has gone way down and the maintenance of the property has declined substantially. For what is paid and the competing properties, HORRIBLE value. Stay away!

Lakeside Urban is a wonderful apartment complex. The location is incredible, the staff are always helpful, especially Michelle who is the most welcoming and kind leasing agent. Because of how helpful she was when she was showing us around the property, we were confident we wanted to make Lakeside Urban our home.

This isn’t a great place to live. Maintenance is slow to respond to tickets. The rent went up significantly this year and we still have broken equipment in the gym, bad parking situation and the hallways smell like pot. It’s getting worse. Choose another apartment community, I’ve been here six years and this place is getting worse!

I was told by front desk staff, “ there will always be unhappy residents over any residential complaints.. we cannot make all residents happy” I was surprised to see This management’s customer service motto! And i have lived here since 2018. This place has gone downhill too fast !

I’m not sure who to blame here, the maintenance staff or the office staff. The communication is awful. I have to follow up multiple times to have anything fixed. They never complete everything in tue same visit and take WEEKS to return to complete one thing, then another week to fix nosh the rest. It’s inconvenient and unnecessary. This repair was from 10/31 and they still have one thing left. I’ve asked that they call before sowing up so I can make sure they are doing everything on the list but they just show up when they want. Recently the ceiling was leaking from the storms and I submitted a request in person in the day it happened. They said “maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends”, meanwhile water was dripping over my dresser and tv. They then said they would have to have a roofer come out on Mon…they didn’t show up until Thur and I wasn’t notified and thank goodness I was at home. This place has been a complete disappointment for the last 2 yrs. I wouldn’t refer anyone to live here.

This place sucks. I have had four refrigerators, a dishwasher that doesn’t dry the dishes or drain the bottom tub, and maintenance in my apt no less the 15 times in the 14 months that I have lived here.

I’ve lived here for 4 years and have seen a steady decline every year in the upkeep of the community. I am almost embarrassed to have visitors. The condition of the property is awful. It literally stinks, it’s filthy, amenities are broken, the turnover rate is ridiculous, never the same person twice and no one at the office knows anything. And what they put emphasis on is the weight of the trash or the # of bags you set outside. It’s a shame really.

Don’t move here if you require engaged facilities management. The only good thing about this community is the location. My particular unit has shotty workmanship.

Lakeside is a great family community. Pets are welcomed and anyone would love the great Lakeside view. Being a resident at Lakeside has certainly been worth it.

Staff refuse to pick up the phone. And when you go down to the office, they are just chit chatting away. And then the phone rings, and they are still chit chatting. And once their done, then they notice you and asked, "What do you want"

Nice apartment....worst, most unresponsive management (greystar) in the area! Terrible parking , trash situation, n I recycle, dirty. If you are considering I'd suggest you are very clear about the location of your apt relative to the slamming security gates - unbelievable!

The property grounds need to be better maintained. I like my unit other than my dishwasher that had been broke for 2 months, my ac unit that I have to pull the plug on and drain every other week and my heavy walking number above my head. The complex is in an amazing area its just the property isnt kept up. Even when I walk the lake in the evening this complex is the only one whos exterior lights are inoperable. Im really surprised its lack of maintenance that goes into, especially since its main office is just around down the street.

We really enjoy our apartment and the views. The community amenities are good and generally maintained well, but sometimes we need to reach out to the property with additional cleaning requests - which is fine since these requests are resolved relatively fast. Besides this, the maintenance personnel is great and very friendly! We like chatting with Lazaro whenever he comes over for a request! Thank you!

We love our apartment and the view is incredible! Sometimes I felt that things are not done on time within the community, but I observed the staff is very attentive once you reach out! I love living at Lakeside Urban Center. The leasing team is amazing. They shared so many resources to help make the move in process so smooth. The parking structure is so conveniently located. I love the location and Lake Carolyn is the cherry on top.

This place has more hidden fees than the IRS has tax laws. Been fighting a $12k bill since we had to move out early. Been fighting this for over 4 years. Used to be a great place, definitely not the same place anymore. Run save yourself the headache.

I came to Lakeside looking to lease an apartment home. I set an appointment a few days prior. I show up at my scheduled time and there was no one there to give me a tour of the complex. I will look elsewhere. First impressions are everything. Professionalism is definitely not high on lakesides priority list. It was time wasted that I won’t be getting back.

Lakeside Urban Center is a beautiful community with many surrounding activities for any family. The lakeside view is breathe taking for walking, bike riding around the trail or just a day out around the lake.. I would highly recommend Lakeside Urban Center. Tim and his maintenance staff are amazing and consistently exceed my expectations. Glad to see that the manager/Maintenance Mgr have stayed on, given the experience with turnover @ Lakeside. Our leasing agents turnover very fast. Additionally, I have never really had a noise, disturbance or safety issue during my stay here and I am very comfortable living here at Lakeside.

I recently terminated my lease. The document I signed as well as the staff was for a total of $3,796. The settlement fee was $2,476 and the rent due through notice period was $1,320. Later to sign onto my account stating I owed them $881. This was an error because their management cannot do simple math and forgot to add the prorated monthly rent for the last 20 days of my 60 day notice. All they could say was “sorry” even though we both signed the termination notice. Then to return my keys they wanted an additional $221 for the last three months of trash and utilities. When I came to my vacant apartment to do a final check, my door was unlocked and all lights were turned on in my apartment. No worries though, not on their bill still using MY electricity. They also used pictures of my dog on their social media pages multiple times without my permission.
