Don't recommend the ppl from office are really nice but all they do there is still your money from application here I apply 2 times first time I understood because my lease from my other apartment was not until ausgust so i apply again and now they came up with other excuse that they didn’t give me on my first application so I'll think twice on putting a application here to rent

I've been a resident for a little over a year now and I love it here!! The office staff are so nice and welcoming. We now have a new office manager and for a minute I was concerned because Tammy would always give me a warm greeting but I hadn't had a chance to know the new manager but now that we are acquainted, I love Jessica too!! The property is well maintained and quiet which is a major plus in my book. I hate to give this property 5 stars and big thank you to Jessica, Mrs. LT and Danielle.

We moved in excited to be in what we thought was a wonderful community. The community is not the issue. The community is not secured the gates are always open or easy to get past. Since moving in last year we have had things stolen from our side porch, and our car was broken into. Upon trying to post to the community the management team blocked our post from notifying the community. Amenities are not being maintained. The hot tub is still broken and has been since December of 2021. We have had numerous issues with outdated appliances. And they won't fix or replace them. They also did not tell us about the other additional fees they tacked on the rent like shared utilities and paying for the dumpster or the HOA fee. We are counting the days till our lease is up so we can get out of this dump.

In my year of living there, the gate that is supposed to give residents added security was nearly always wide open. At one point it had been open for 3 weeks straight and in that time my work truck was broken into, resulting in $6000 in damages and $1500 in stolen tools. I asked the management if they could check security footage and they told me that the quality of their cameras was too bad to really reveal anything. The pool was closed for 2 months straight in the dead of summer for no good reason. The water was consistently shutoff for hours at a time with absolutely no warning. Avoid this overpriced community and unreasonable management.

I was going to move from Michigan to Houston and I decided to choose this place. My family in Houston went to see the one bedroom apartment and they loved it. I ended up not moving to Houston due to change of plans but I want to say that Jennifer answered all my questions and was so patient and friendly. It is hard to find good customer service but this place definitely has it.

Honestly the apartment is great, but with slow internet (the slowest 75 mbs i have ever experienced and that is the fastest you can get) and incredibly loud upstairs neighbors that stomp, slam, and drop things all hours of the day a night. Legitimately 8am-2am the next morning causing me to not be able to sleep as they shake all the items we have hanging on our wall and all the things in our cabinets. Even after management has called them and maintenance had to come out and investigate water coming from the ceiling because they spilled things. Maintenance was even witness to how loud they are at midnight coming to fix the water from the ceiling. I honestly cannot recommend because of the terrible experience. Mind you the incredibly loud started months ago and has been reported 3 times and they just get louder.

Over all the apartments are great but the just added a lot of new rules it is a no smoking community that just recently started you are only allowed 2 guest at the pool and gym that sucks because what if you want to have friends over they actually do ask who is with you the lake is beautiful to walk but they always have it closed and every other month maintenance checks the apartments when your not home witch I dont really like there not much privacy the apartments are nice on the inside though at least that but it is a pet community witch is a plus for but theres flees every where and no matter what medicine I get for them they are covered in them regardless
I have been here for 8 years and love it. Service crew is wonderful and gets the job done. Office staff is also amazing. Highly recommend Newport on the Lake.
The staff and maintenance crew are all together amazing. I've been at the complex for three years and have never had an issue that was not resolved or handled within a timely manner.
Excellent management, right now service if needed, beautiful landscape, and well-maintained. Worth every penny whatever the price!
Great community, great people. Very clean and homey.
I've lived here for nearly three years, and they have all been great. The grounds are really nice, and I love that we have access to the lake and park. It's a great place to live if you have a dog as there as so many nice places to take them on long walks and let them off of the leash (outside of the apartment gates). Management is always so nice and helpful, and they have office hours that are really convenient for us. The service team is seriously AMAZING. All of my requests are completed on the same day or the day after, and they always do a great job.
I moved here in August of this year and my experience here is great, management team extremely helpful and make living in the community very comfortable.
Amazing place to live. It's hidden from the main road so it deters mischief. Lived here for 1 year already. Parking is safe but scarce.

Newport on the Lake is very beautiful and very well maintained and most importantly the Management Staff are wonderful and very carefully and lovingly maintain the beautiful culture of quiet and respect for your neighbor that we have here. I am delighted to live here - this is my home.
We have been one of the very first residents at Newport on the Lake. We stay here because of the way the grounds are kept, the service we receive from the management team and the overall look and feel of the community. The access to Cullen Park has always was a draw for us and the pool and club house are kept impeccably clean.
Lori and Stacy are extremely nice, friendly and Knowledgeable. They do their research in a timely manner that does not have to affect us. Only they put nice warm smile and they look like they care about their residents and they both look like they enjoy what they do! Great job Lori and Stacy! Keep up the great work!!

Im overall happy with the community, I like my apartment, Erika from the leasing office is super kind, professional, and always willing to help. However, I have been dealing with cockroaches since I moved. The maintenance guys have come many times and spread a kind of powder but it still doesnt Work. I dont know where they come from, I always maintain my apartment super clean.
We have been long term members of the Newport community. We love the proximity to work, health care facilities AND Cullen park.
I just love my management team ,so professional,nice and respectful and friendly !! It is like I have a QUEEN and two princess and it doesn't get any better than that believe me !!

Me, my daughter, and my boyfriend just moved in in September! We got fast responses from leasing office and we were in a unit within a week! I love Laurie and Erica in the front office. They are amazingly nice and welcoming! My overall experience so far has been awesome. I've lived a lot of places and this is by far my favorite experience.

I love it here! The management team as well as the maintenance team are superb! They're always extremely helpful, hospitable, and resourceful, all while maintaining a very pleasant level of professionalism.
I have lived in these apartments for over a year. Awesome apartment and personally I have never had a problem. Maintenance staff is the best, very prompt and courteous. Apartments are spacious and well laid out, also the complex is very quiet.
I have lived here since October of 2014. The best part of living in Newport on the Lake is after a hard days work I have my choice of going to the lake, the pool or putting on the putting green. These apartments are the ones for you!
