I’ve lived in several places around the Bay Area, and this has easily been my favorite so far. The staff here are incredibly responsive and provide outstanding customer service—they truly go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and supported. Great property with a lot of Amentities. This property opened 2 years ago and the location is far none one of the best in the Bay Area.

I have lived here for 8 months, and had experienced multiple power outages and one water outage . Garage door never worked properly. For several months, it was left open . Another time, a double door in the hall way is locked, probably due to power outage , and I can’t reach anyone. I ended up climbing multiple sets of stairs just to find an alternate route back to my unit. I had been patient. I mean , the apartment is brand new, surely they must have felt sorry and are working to improve it . I can understand. I am usually not the type to complain. Besides, all staff working here are very friendly. Until today, I am changed for $100 for a piece of sticker that I need to display as parking permit. It’s a one Square inch paper sticker that doesn’t cost them anything. Even though I’m paying for parking every month and there are no way anyone can go in and out with without a garage door opener. It’s not like I can give the sticker to another person to park here for free. This just tells me management doesn’t even care that they’ve cost so much inconvenience to their residence. My advice , do not trust the 5 star ratings. That’s basically from someone just seeing how new the department is and never lived here

We toured a number of different apartments and this by far was the best experience we had especially Krizia. She was patient and fully explained all the amenities and answered all of our questions with a smile, and it was very comfortable and nice

We have lived here for several years now. This is a great building with fine amenities, but the real difference from other similar apartments is the quality and the attentiveness of the management team. Our requests for routine maintenance are taken care of promptly, and the team members are all friendly and responsive, and consistent. The public spaces are well cared for, clean and comfortable. We especially appreciate the security of the property, and the fact that our little dog is a respected and valued part of our family. The neighborhood is wonderful - great access to public transportation, within a couple of blocks of Lake Merrit, within a block or two to grocery shopping and really good low to medium-priced restaurants.

Despite the allure of luxury living, Hanover Winchester Management has left me thoroughly disappointed. Despite the steep rent, their management team seems ill-equipped to address resident concerns effectively. Communication is virtually non-existent, with serious issues often brushed aside or inadequately resolved. Security is a major concern, with frequent car break-ins and delayed responses to emergencies. Furthermore, the building's upkeep is lacking, evident in poor electrical, neglected common areas, and unresponsive staff. The lack of transparency, helpful information snd empathetic approach regarding incidents only adds to the frustration. For a property marketed as luxury, Hanover Winchester Management fails to deliver on its promises. It's time for them to prioritize resident satisfaction and safety over profits.

I am posting this 3 months into my lease. TLDR; theu building has opened tooo soon for human occupancy. its not ready yet. My intial impressions about the building we nothing short of 5 stars. it was tru;y luxury living with the amenities, parking, key'ed entry into each section of the building etc and c. Moreover, the staff were fantastic to work with as well! Kirza, Kima, Tanya and Anjo are the best team in the leasing office to work with. However, 3 months into the lease all the issues starting popping up. 1. The building is not prepared for disaster readienss. When power goes out, there are entire sections of the building with out any light. even the exit signs in more critical areas of the buildings are not lit up! It was not easy evacuating the building when i am bumping into the walls and door handles. Moreover, it seems there is a fire alarm testing every week or so which last 20-30 minutes at a stretch. I've had to be a silent spectator in many of my meetings as a result. 2. Since the building is still under construction, the workers leave the security gate and doors to the garage propped open. as a result me and my neighbours cars have been broken into 2-3 times over the course of the past month. Its an extremely uneasy feeling to sit in your car after you realized someone has been in there without your permissin. The only reason i picked this property is because it had key'ed garage door entry. The staff and the community is still the best part of thsi building. but the building is not readsy yet and the MANAGEMENT should not have started occupancy and collecting rent yet.

Property is unsafe, Hanover winchester is trying to cover up that they have known about homeless individuals livings in their unhoused units. Cars have been broken into and things stolen. Structurally this place has major issues. Ceilings leaking, grout having to be replaced twice, fridge having to be swapped, multiple can lights needing replacement. The fire alarms are always going off, seems like they buit off more than they could chew with this property.

Building not safe, people breaking into cars, homeless getting into units. Lack of management, lack of security. The building has been built very cheap, Hanover company bit of more than they could chew with this project. Multiple residents have had major structural issues, some even making people move units.

I want to give a huge shoutout to the management team—Caroline, Tanya, and Ricardo. They've been incredible, always there to help with anything I need. It's pretty impressive how every work order I've ever dropped gets sorted out on the same day. The apartments themselves? Top-notch. They come with the latest appliances, and the whole building feels modern and secure. I love that you need keys to access different areas—it makes me feel safe and sound. There's a great selection of floor plans too, which is a big plus. And the community events? They're just the cherry on top, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Plus, the location is perfect for me. Being corner away from the 280 makes my commute to SF a breeze. If you're considering making Hanover Winchester your home, I say go for it! It's been an amazing experience for me, and I bet you'll love it too.

Beautiful property, new construction and very close to Valley Fair/Santana Row. Units have great lighting, spacious patio. The top floors also have a good view of the city. Our tour guide Krizia is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Thank you!

I have lived in this building now for a month and it’s the best place I’ve ever lived. The maintenance staff is exceptional so big thanks to Ricardo the maintenance supervisor who always responds to quickly when something needs to get done. The office is really communicative with stuff needing to be done because it’s under construction but also the best part of is the community with new residents. You get to meet so many interesting people and we’ve already become friends. The pool is great to hang out at and I’ve spent some time in the club room for work because I work from home. Also the fitness center has a good variety of equipment and we always see people cleaning through the property so it feels well maintained. Can’t say this enough but if you want something brand new with a clean feel and good location this is a great place. Thanks to everyone in the leasing office and maintenance

Stunning place to live with luxury amenities. It's hard to beat the location with so many nearby options in dining and entertainment. The leasing team is outstanding. Caroline and Krizia were exceptional during the leasing and move in process. I'm truly impressed by how friendly and professional the staff is. Highly recommend.

Recently me and my roommate are looking for a good apartment to move in, we find out this Hanover Winchester apartment is really good, it’s brand new and has lots of great amenities we need. The leasing agent Anjo is really nice, he showed me around all over the building, make me feel comfortable about the place. If you want to find a place nobody else had been living, this one is a good choice.

I did a tour here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The amenities were what I was looking for. The gym had great lifting equipment, the small rooms are perfect to some zoom meetings for work, and the outdoor pool area is well kept. The apartment had high ceilings giving the feel of a large space. Overall such a great experience and we really appreciate Krizia's professionalism. She took the time to answer all our questions and walk us through anything else we may have missed.
