Granary Flats

I would not recommend living here. While the complex itself is beautiful and the apartments are nice, the management has made living here incredibly frustrating. Since Greystar took over, the quality of management has gone downhill. Management is dismissive, slow to respond, and often rude. Anytime I’ve called or emailed with a concern, I’ve been met with defensiveness instead of solutions, and attempts to shift blame back onto me rather than take accountability. Customer service is clearly not a priority, and there’s little effort to make things right when issues arise. Parking has become a constant headache — residents struggle to find spaces while guest vehicles fill the lots, even though we’re required to register guests. When I raised this issue, the “solution” I was given was to pay extra for a reserved space. It’s unacceptable to feel like I’m not guaranteed basic parking at the place I pay rent to live. This used to be a great place to live before Greystar took over. Now, I can’t wait to move out and I want to warn others considering this community: the apartments may be nice, but the management makes the experience miserable.

Maintenance and Staff are professional and customer service is great!

I appreciate the events the management puts together for our community. I love the pool area and how safe it feels in general. The maintenance on the cleanliness and exterior upkeep is noticeable and appreciated.

So far I love living at Granary Flats. I moved here a couple of weeks ago and have enjoyed the beautiful salt water pool and the awesome gameroom. The community is quiet and is clean.

Living in Granary Flats is like Living in a private home.

The staff at Granary flats are accommodating and friendly. It is refreshing seeing them coming up with ideas to get the residents involved and communicating with each other. The events have introduced residents to outside vendors, fire dept staff, and EMT staff, & allowed the children to take pics outside of or in the trucks. I can’t wait to see what type of talents or businesses the residents who reside here have as well along with the staff outside of working here.

The design and layout of the community and the apartments are wonderful. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. Thank you for the outstanding service and to have such a professional and caring team in the office. I absolutely love my apartment. I love everything the community has to offer.

The apartment is located around everything you need. The apartment community is clean, and friendly. The best thing about Granary Flats is my family and I get a chance to make memories at Granary Flats. It a great place to live.

Thus far it has been a pleasure in residing at Granary Flats. It has amenities which include a well maintained pool, gym, a relaxing lounge area, attentive staff, and maintenance crew. The scents within the common areas are relaxing & reminds you of hotels in resorts. Any concerns were addressed in a timely manner. What is the downfall you may ask and I would say sometimes it is hard to get through on the phone, but once you do questions/concerns are addressed. I will write another review once I have been here for 6 months.

I have been at Granary Flats since May of last year. I absolutely love this Property. Kudos to the Management Team and Maintenance Team for the great work they do and always making the changes/updates that they do to making living here a wonderful experience. The absolute best! The Property is always kept clean. Everyone is friendly and responsive.

Alexis and her team are the best! Extremely helpful in getting my elderly mother situated, they assisted in every step of the way, and communication was great! would highly recommend this team, as they went above and beyond to help my mother move from Chicago, here to Texas, smooth transition, clear instructions, and great at reaching out for additional information. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The management team Luis and Alexis are very professional and responsive, always addressing any issues promptly. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the amenities like the fitness center and pool are top-notch. The apartment itself is spacious, with modern finishes and plenty of natural light. It’s also incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day.

I went on a tour this past week. The property is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The floor plan I saw looked amazing and spacious. I will keep an eye out for a two bedroom two bath on the first floor.

Absolutely the worst apartments i have ever lived in. Constantly calling the front office and getting no response. When we first moved in we had water leak damage on our wall. Never to be fixed. Then we had been assigned the wrong mailbox. Then we got a garage and when we went to get the keys the other person had still had them. This is the most unprofessional establishment i have been to. I recently had new neighbors move upstairs and they have been incredibly loud. With a toddler constantly throwing things off their balcony into our backyard while also sounding like they are dropping bowling bowls all day long. I have made multiple complaints to the front office and no response back. Therefore i called the police and had a noise complaint last night. Then this morning i wake up to my boyfriend’s truck being broken into and now we know there is NO CAMERAS around the apartments, yet some reason we still are charged for multiple fees including a security fee. I have never seen a security guard around the building and if there was one, we could’ve avoided this whole situation. This also might be because the gates are constantly broken staying open all night long for multiple days allowing anyone to come into the gate including the person who did this.

I have been a resident at Granary Flats for a year and four months, and I believe it is important to share my concerns and issues that have significantly impacted my experience as a tenant. * While there are some positive aspects to this complex, such as having nice amenities, there are areas that require improvement. One major issue I encountered early on was a miscommunication regarding the flooring in my apartment. When I moved in February 2022, I was verbally assured that the bedroom in the studio layout would have wood flooring. However, on the day of my move-in, I discovered that it had carpet instead. Dealing with this matter was highly frustrating and unprofessional, as I was asked to cancel my application on the spot, even though I had my belongings ready to unload and had waited for the apartment for several months. * Another concerning issue during my first year was the lack of responsiveness from the management regarding my water bill concerns. Despite sending multiple emails seeking clarification, I received no written response for an extended period. Instead, I consistently received verbal reassurances with unclear and inconsistent information and excuses whenever I raised the issue. The lack of written communication and the failure to provide clear information on how water base charges are being calculated is deeply disappointing. * Furthermore, after renewing my lease this year, I recently discovered that I am being charged fire and patrol fees, despite checking with the leasing office multiple times about any additional charges before signing the new lease. The inconsistency of information in explaining these charges, especially since I wasn't charged for them in my previous lease and the neighbor apartment complex doesn't charge such fees, raises concerns about the transparency, accuracy, and fairness of the charges. In general, there seems to be an unwillingness to address concerns in writing, giving the impression that the management prefers verbal communication to avoid being held accountable for their words. Instead of receiving direct and timely responses, my issues are often redirected to different individuals outside the apartment rental company. This lack of transparency and communication is disheartening and creates a sense of distrust and unease among tenants.

Beautiful apartment with amazing finishes and details. Staff although very busy leasing out this new complex they are super friendly and attentive! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Love the neighborhood and there are so many restaurants and stores close by.

Loving my new place, it's exactly what I was looking for. The area/neighborhood is nice. The location is ideal for me being close to work. Most of all, the granary flats team have been amazing. The whole process has been pleasant.

location and great subdivision very quiet. ideal location to live. The whole administration team is amazing, went above and beyond to make my move smooth and worthy. They listen tentatively and address needs as desired.
