The apartments are really nice. The things I don’t like about my home are as follows. The washer and dryer are way too small. Since we have to pay water that is attached to our rent the washer should be bigger because the way it is now you have to wash multiple loads, which makes the bill higher. Then there is no smoking on outside on your balconies or your porches. I don’t smoke, but I have guest that do and they have to go all the way down and across the parking lot to smoke a cigarette. I feel like people can’t go outside and enjoy themselves at their home because they have to go across the street to smoke.Like I said, I am not a smoker but I speak for people that do smoke and for the guest that I have over my home.I don’t like the fact that the heaters stay on constantly they don’t shut off they’re on low all the time even when it’s hot and that just adds to the bill too.

I loved living here. The maintenance team helped me quickly when my door key stopped working. The gym is small but it has weights and you can have an excellent upper and lower body workout there, most of the machines are for upper body.

I’ve only been here week but so far everyone I have met is very pleasant. My move was from out of state, so I was very nervous about getting into an apartment sight unseen. Ashley and the other office staff were super responsive to all of my questions and helped a lot along the way. They took care to make sure my apartment was ready when I arrived. The maintenance staff I have met have been polite and professional. The complex is quiet and friendly, and especially dog, friendly! There are very nice amenities like a pool and a gym as well as a dog park and outdoor grills. The complex is nice with many mature trees and green grass. I hope I feel as enthusiastic in six months as I do now but so far I think I will enjoy living here.

Nice neighborhood, and it's nice being walking distance from a grocery store. However, maintenance is not on top of it. It takes ages for them to respond to requests. Staff is friendly.

If you see reviews from 2021 and before that, those are no longer relevant to today. Management for GP has since changed, and let me just tell you that it was a blessing. The management here has been so accommodating to both me and my fiancé, and they take every issue very seriously. The only foreseeable issue I can see is that there is only one maintenance worker for the whole complex, but I'm sure you'll forget about that once you see how AWESOME he is! As for the unit itself, all of the appliances work super well, and the heater is super easy to figure out and adjust to! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. You'll be in great hands, I promise you.

Do not live here. Our time at Governor’ Park has been riddled with hidden fees and poor communication. We came for our scheduled move in day and there was nobody present at the main office. We ended up having to call the emergency maintenance line to have someone bring us our keys. Upon our last months of living here, the office slammed us with an extra $700 dollars to pay, due to an error made in our short term lease agreement. Utilities are also insane due to poor insulation in the buildings. Very glad to be leaving.

AVOID GOVERNORS PARK! It makes sense that no one stays here after their lease. I have lived here for a year and three months. I recently had an issue where tiles in my shower began to fall off so I made a maintenance request to be safe. In short its been a month and a half and five visits so far, and they ended up destroying my bathroom and leaving it in terrible shape.They have ruined my bathroom and I most likely will not be renewing another year due to how bad of shape it's in now, I can hardly stand being in there.

This is by far the best apartment complex in Fort Collins...that I've lived in. I've lived in 5 complexes around here! You know how it is. They've been good to me and the people that live here are courteous unlike so many places. The staff is helpful and the place is clean and good looking. I like living here and often recommend it to guys at work and that I know. I got a trusty right hand dog too, so that's important to me that they take pets too. Good dogs here and places to run. It's a solid place to live and I'm thankful to be here among nice people.

Moved in 1 week ago called asked management “Andrew” if the carpets could be cleaned or if last resort could moved to a different open apartment. He said yes for $700 or you can replace carpet at your own cost. Thanks Andrew , been here 1 week. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great staff. Friendly, efficient and super responsive to maintenance issues. Great place for dogs. Everyone loves to see your dogs and the maintenance staff is super friendly to them. The renovated apartments are awesome. Stainless fridge, dog friendly floors. Dog Park is on the 700 side, so it's a bit of a challenge to walk dogs over from the 915 side , if that would be an issue for you.

These apartments are comfortable and spacious. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The neighborhood is great, convenient and safe. The only downside is the sound of traffic which one gets used to pretty soon. I would highly recommend choosing this as your next place to live. Does not hurt that my neighbors are great too.

I was a resident at Governor’s Park for a little over ten years. I lived on the 700 E. Drake side of the complex that has the three-story buildings. Overall, I liked the layout of my apartment, the grounds and apartments are very well maintained, and the complex is conveniently located close to several markets and other shopping. I never had any issues with maintenance - maintenance requests were usually completed within days of requesting service. When I moved out of my apartment, my entire deposit was refunded to me. Governor’s Park went through a change in managers a couple of years ago. The old manager, Christy, pretty much ignored tenant issues and enforced few of the community rules/rules in the lease. Many of the negative reviews are from her time as manager. Kellie is the new property manager and a regional director for JRK Properties. She and her staff are very professional and work well with tenants. When Kellie took over as manager I saw immediate improvements in the community. The grounds are better maintained, more lights were installed making the community safer at night and community rules were enforced.

The staff is kind and welcoming. Our apartment was recently remodeled and love our new appliances. We like the fireplace but wish there was a central heating system. The neighborhood is nice close to various shopping. We're happy here!

I enjoy living in Governors Park. It is close to all the places I need to be including shopping with grocery stores just blocks away, pharmacy, health care, work and night life. The amenities are great with a gym with 24 hour access, tanning bed, swimming pool with a grill for having guest for dinner, in apartment washer and dryer, patios, dog park, areas for young children, tennis court and friendly staff. The grounds are great with lots of trees and they are well maintained. Governors Park is a very homey and inviting place to live.

cute apartments, but do not let looks fool you. Ours was infested with ants and no foundation. pet feces are left as a tenant problem, and the pool gate was broken. The ventilation led directly outside without any filtration, so we also had a huge spider problem. The AC unit in my room broke after 2 hours of use and wouldn't be fixed unless I paid for it. Light switch was faulty and shorted my fixtures, wasn't notified I would be charged an extra $250 for it to be fixed. these people are criminals, and only concern is that you have money.

We always try to make everyone's home a great place to live, but if we don't know anything is wrong it is hard to remedy the situation.
Extremely unprofessional service. When we moved in the used bait and switch, advertising $850 a month for a two bedroom but it was really $1250. Tried to contact the property manager multiple times, even leaving notes on their desks and voicemail, with no reply. Put in a request twice to have our dryer looked at to ensure that there wasn't lint build up in the exhaust, a major fire hazard, and got no reply. The multi-story buildings have no fire escape, just a single stairwell! On one occasion, our bicycle trailer was stolen and we ask them to ask if anyone had any information and they said, "we don't do that." Then, I witnessed another resident's bikes being stolen, contacted police, and the police asked if I would contact the property manager to have them notify residents that bikes were stolen so that they can identify their bikes, get them back, and prosecute the thieves. I reached out to the property manager and received no reply and no notice was given to residents at all! They won't even cooperate with police for their residents! There are no security systems and a poorly lit, very small parking lot. This is a terrible, horrific place to live!

We have several methods to put in a work order, and call back all work orders to ensure they are complete to the residents satisfaction. It is rare to hear that you were unsatisfied with your maintenance request. I hope it was remedied, if not please contact the office. You are welcome to email, call or go onto our website to make a service request. We always strive to work with the local police, and always love to work with them to stop any issues. I am sorry that your bike trailer was stolen, that is very rare to hear about. When you came into the office, we suggested that you contact the police to make a report. We are unable to make a report on your behalf with the police. I am sorry that you have experience issues at Governor's Park. I hope that you have become happier with your experience.
