In many ways, Arlington’s Clarendon/Courthouse neighborhood leads a double life. On the one hand, the mix of upscale single-family homes and swanky apartments combined with the super-convenient access to Washington (just a mile away and served by multiple Metro stops) make this an ideal location for DC-area commuters seeking a more suburban home environment. Parts of the neighborhood also contain several corporate high-rises, giving many folks the option of walking to work.

Nice place to live! Parking is always a bit of a struggle esp if you’re coming home late but otherwise, no other complaints. No loud noises, clean amenities, nice apartments.

Alexan Fitzroy is the perfect apartment community! The apartments are new and decked out with the most wonderful appliances and built-in storage. The common spaces are clean, well-managed, and populated by respectful tenants. The community is safe, welcoming, and absolutely gorgeous! The Fitzroy is in the perfect location--under a ten minute walk from three grocery stores, a five minute walk to the metro and bus stations, and right at the mouth of Clarendon's main shopping and dining areas. Our commute to downtown DC takes 20 minutes, including the walk to and from the train station! My partner and I absolutely love this community.

It has been great so far. No issues with our new place. We moved in a month ago and all staff has been amazing especially Fatima! Only feedback I have is more happy hours/social meet and greets on rooftop with name tags and encourage people to come, also please add another bench into the gym and restock more flavored coffee creamers! Alexan Fitzroy is an amazing place to live! The space is beautiful, always clean, and staff are extremely friendly. The rooftop and courtyard are beautiful and peaceful, and there are plenty of amenities and common spaces to enjoy. The appliances in the apartment are new, and the studio layout has ample storage space!

Really nice amenities and ease to popular grocery stores and metro. Concierge team really friendly and great package delivery safety. Feels like the apartment has 24hour cleaning staff I’ve never seen an apartment complex up-kept to this level before.

We just moved in, but the building is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The apartment itself is great, but the star is the staff. Ever since we walked in we felt at home with everyone. We are looking forward to the future here.

All good. Move-in worked well. Friendly staff. It is much quieter than my previous apartment. Some of the interiors could have been of better quality (floor and bathroom tiles).

My husband and I just moved in last month and we have really been loving living here. The entire staff here is INCREDIBLE. The front desk team is always so pleasant and accommodating. The maintenance team is also great. We haven't had any issues yet, but have run into Walter several times and he is always very pleasant and making sure everything is good with our apartment. Ben has been nothing but nice, attentive and very easy to work with. We had our initial tour with Tim and he was very patient with us as we wanted to see a range of apartments. We also had a great experience with Fatima when we returned to tour again. There are many amenity highlights - the gym, the rooftop, the lobby (lots of great WFH spots), 15 cups of coffee (la colombe) per month, sparkling and chilled still water. The ambience in the lobby feels like you are at a luxury hotel and it’s a shared space you actually want to enjoy. The actual apartment units are well thought out and everything is brand new.

Living at Alexan Fitzroy has been great so far! Great location, staff, amenities and rooms! Leasing was generally smooth, though a bit hard to reach after signing the lease. Rooms are beautiful, clean, and mostly quiet. You can hear doors being closed from the hallway and other general noises from outside your room, but overall the building is quiet. Sometimes elevators are slow to reach your floor as one is reserved most of the time for the loading dock as more residents move in. Overall, no major complaints so far!

It’s a great place to live and great area. The staff is very friendly. Overall, I would recommend living in this apartment. The price is a bit high, but if you can afford it go for it.

This is my very first apartment, I love it! It’s a studio so it’s rather small, but I don’t need a whole lot of space. I’m playing on getting a dog and excited for that. It’s a great location. We’re near dog park and near lots of restaurants.
