Overall living is great. However, families are a bit disturbing as you can hear almost everything through the walls. Tantrums from children can be heard as loud bangs even on the same floor.

However, beyond the visual appeal and square footage, be prepared for significant shortcomings in nearly every other aspect of management. Communication, maintenance quality, consistent rule enforcement, rent stability, and a fair, resident-focused approach are notably absent. Overall a good value. The apartments are remodeled but still have issues. The maintenance team is very prompt to repair issues. The leasing staff is very friendly and helpful. The overall grounds could use better upkeep.

The community remains a nice one, especially with the proximity to an ever-expanding Fairfax Corner for dining and shopping options. It's really nice having Wegman's right next door as well. I looked at a few places before deciding on Finley and I'm sure I made the right choice.

I've been living in this apartment community for a while now, and overall, it's been a great experience. The location is super convenient—close to public transportation, grocery stores, and a few nice cafes. The neighborhood feels safe and walkable, which is a big plus.
Being a resident at Finley has been great so far. I'll always comment about how clean the community is, and how it's perfect for walks. The community itself is beautiful, and the team here does a great job keeping up with that.
It's a very well-equipped apartment complex, with lots of green and common areas, which I've really enjoyed. It's close to supermarkets, restaurants, and schools.

We have been renting for one full year and just renewed our lease in a larger unit with a garage. The transition process has been seamless and the leasing company is giving us a few days to vacate on unit and move into the next. We have been happy with response time on any maintenance requests. The only downside of having a unit with a garage is that you can not park in other spaces outside of your garage or in front of it. We want to use the garage for storage, not necessarily for a car.

We love the amenities! The pool and clubhouse are so nice. My grandchildren visit and have a blast riding their scooters around the property to the pool or the playground. The gym is great, especially with the new treadmills. The staff is always friendly and willing to help with maintenance or any questions. I highly recommend the Finley as a place to live.

My lease started on a Saturday, and because it is not clear that move-ins can only happen during business hours we were forced to stay at a hotel for 2 nights since our arrival was later than expected. This is no fault of the office staff, it just simply should be made clearer. What is in the hands of the staff is how they address these issues, and a response of “sorry that’s not our fault or problem” and “take it up with the manager on Monday” are not things people appreciate hearing in these situations. Moreover, tone is an extremely important part of customer service, and that is something lacking from a couple of the personnel in this office. That makes interactions with them very unpleasant, as if being a new tenant comes as a burden to the office. Nevertheless, taking it up with the manager did resolve the situation and as I began this review, we are now perfectly happy.

I wish the rent didn’t rise without any considerable upgrade in living standard. Rents continue to go up without any upgrading of apartments. That being said, I’ve had a good experience living here.

I would not recommend moving here. The interior of the white/gray updated apartments is nice (the beige/brown looks dark and dated) and if an attached, private garage is important, this community has that option. Those are the pluses. The minuses are inadequate sound insulation between floors, people leaving trash in the breezeways, and the exterior appearance of the buildings (rusted and buckling siding, stained concrete stairs and breezeways)

So far, the move has been great! The apartment has been renovated beautifully, and everything feels fresh and modern. The spacing is really well thought out—there’s plenty of room to feel comfortable without it being too much to manage. My favorite part is definitely the LED kitchen tap—it’s such a unique and fun touch that adds a little extra personality to the space. Excited to settle in even more!

My apartment smells like cigarettes and I don't smoke. I've been told by the manager and staff they can't do anything unless they know who it is and that they have talked to people who say they don't smoke. Of course they will say that. where is the smell coming from then if supposedly no one smokes? I have been dealing with this for over 2 months. I feel like they don't care about my issue and just want me to go away. I have lived here for 7 years and have never had this issue before. I can't afford to move. I used to enjoy living here and now I don't.

We live in a very nice community, it is very close to everything, they collect the garbage for those of us who live on the upper floors, in the winter they clear the snow and keep everything very clean. I recommend living here.

Great community! They have lots of events, fast turn around on maintenance request, and take good care of the community. The dog park is my favorite feature, and it is always kept clean, and waste bags are always restocked in dog stations throughout the community.

Finley at Fairfax Corner is a great little community. I'm on my 3rd year living here and I haven't regretted my choice. The property is nice, location convenient for most anything you need (access to shops or travel), and the staff is friendly. Maintenance is very quick & thorough when needed.

A safe community with walkable amenities, shops, and easy access to major highways and transportation. The staff are professional and do their jobs for the most part. Charging guests for parking is embarrassing and unwelcoming. A couple of years back the Finley offered visitor and guest passes to residents and SHOULD reinstate that along with charging lower rates for old/unrenovated units. Furthermore, I expect to see all gym equipment, especially treadmills, operational.

I like living here a lot but I have to say the gym really is not great. It is the one issue I have really. There are always kids running around who are clearly under 18 only one of the 4/5 treadmills actually work, the bike randomly turns off, and the matts are all worn down or torn up.

I really like the neighborhood, it is very quiet and ideal for walking, there are a lot of playgrounds nearby, there is also a playground right in the complex. I like the staff very much, they are always quick to respond to requests.
