Woodlake-Briar Meadow is a neighborhood just twelve miles west of the heart of Houston and its many attractions and eclectic nightlife. Woodlake-Briar Meadow’s southern border sits on Westpark Tollway, a toll road that connects with several roads and interstates, making travel in and out of Houston easy.
Residents of this thriving neighborhood don’t have to travel far from home to get necessities as Woodlake-Briar Meadow is full of department stores, service shops, grocers, gyms, and just about every other type of business. *You may want to think twice before moving here. There are NO security / surveillance cameras onsite. Your vehicle is not protected and neither are you, nor your children. Your safety is definitely not prioritized here. Theft happens frequently, here. Don't leave your packages out. The management here allows thieves to lease apartments here. If you want to live in peace and quiet, this place is not for you. Management couldn't care less if your neighbors constantly disturb your peace and quiet.

These people are money hungry and will try to do anything to get the most money out of you. They tow cars religiously, over charge on water and utilities and just overall don’t care about the community. I had my rent setup on autopay and it didn’t go through. They gave me a late fee and told me there’s now way they could waive late fees. Parking is trash. You have to park so far away from your apartment. Only way to have a little piece of mind is buying a garage. They have a deal with the towing company where they get a certain percentage. My car was towed even when I registered it. Also, pool is ALWAYS closed so that amenity might as well be erased. The pool was closed even on Memorial Day and 4th of July. Move here if you’re ok with not feeling secure about your car and if you don’t care about giving them extra Money at any given time.

The apartments are cool to start off with however, since new management the company has made the apartments complex worse. The pool is closed at least a week out of every month and the fees are still the same. The equipment in the gym are broken but we still have to pay 75.00 fee. There has been homeless people sleeping in the staircases, and in the leasing building. Cars get their wheels taken off though out the night regularly. The gates are always brown. Which allows anyone to enter in. No security what so ever & lastly there are ants in the apartment. For the price they want you to pay it’s not worth it. You can find a better apartment for the same or cheaper price.

I was very pleased with property! The manager TIFFANY and her staff are very polite and professional! I was very impressed! The property is beautiful and well maintained! I would totally recommend these apartments!
The staff is always very helpful and attentive. The area has everything around the complex which is great, and the amenities are a huge plus. With a really nice pool, multiple grills, pool table, golf simulation and an always clean gym. Highly recommend Everly!

I will just start my review by saying that I have never taken the time to write a review before.. but this time a review is necessary. I moved to Everly back in February 2019 and have been completely disappointed with my experience. After my first month of living here, I saw several cockroaches in my apartment. The first time, there was an infestation in my kitchen and living room. The second time, there was an infestation in my bedroom (YES, my bedroom.. the place where I sleep!). After having my apartment exterminated twice, the problem still continued and worsened. By this point, I was completely disgusted with this apartment complex. I spoke to the property manager Carrie about this issue and she was beyond rude to me and suggested that I needed to just "deal with it", because all places in Houston will have a roach problem. Furthermore, Carrie said that she even deals with roaches in her own home and that I basically need to lower my standards and do the same (She referred to possibly seeing roaches in my shower, toilet and sink as normal..). During this time, I demanded to have my apartment exterminated bi-weekly and Carrie confirmed that this would happened. I found out shortly after that she lied and never had this set up with the extermination company. After continuing with roaches in my apartment, I decided to do a transfer to another apartment within another building, thinking that maybe this will solve my issue. But I was wrong. I just moved into my new apartment 2 DAYS ago and have already seen cockroaches, bees and ants. Overall, this place is disgusting and I do not feel comfortable in my own apartment (which is the worst feeling). DO NOT rent here and please save your time and money. At this point I truly believe that anywhere else is better than renting at Everly Apartments.
If I could give this place a minus, I would! At first when I moved here (4 months ago) I read some of the reviews on google, but I didn't pay to much attention to them. Unfortunately now I know that was a huge mistake. The customer service and property maintenance are of no help, especially Carrie the property manager.
