Overall I love it here. The decor, concierge services, amenities, and community events add a special touch to my living experience.

I work in Oxon Hill so living at The Esplanade suits my needs that my commute is short. I'm a Senior so having a garage and elevator is an important need for me as well. Also my family enjoys visiting because there is always something fun going on at National Harbor.

From the moment we walked in the lobby door we knew this was home. Everyone is so welcoming and helped make our relocation stress-free!

Been here since December 27th and it has been nothing but an excellent experience. Feels very secured. Lessing and Concierge staff are very knowledgeable, professional and nice to communicate with. Building is very clean and well kept. Definitely recommend leasing here!

Overall it was a good experience but having to deal with the water heater above me bursting soured me on apartment living.

Overall the management has been much more responsive and forthcoming to the residents. Still have a few communications issues but great improvement over last year.

I’m am thoroughly enjoying my stay here at Esplanade. The Management, Leasing, and Maintenance teams are very professional and great to work with. I would definitely recommend Esplanade as a great place to live.

Great community, great staff. But do not rent on the Fleet Street side unless you’re ok with the noise.

The maintenance staff is GREAT!! The concierge staff is EXCELLENT!! However, the leasing office staff and community manager are truly terrible and very unprofessional. They bring the community down so much, it’s crazy that Greystar has left them in charge to manage this building - they’ve honestly ran it into ground. I’ve been here for 4 years and the decline once the leasing and management staff came in was instant and it’s disheartening to see it play out this way.

My overall experience has been ok- I think this community is a family. And we try to look out for one another. But we need management to step up on things that are alarming to say the least- we pay to much to be experiencing so much issues- Look where we live. I need top tier services and resolutions. If I’m paying top tier prices. Just my opinion respectfully

Only reason I decided to lease with Esplanade is the location. It’s the only apartment around this area that feels so-so safe. Issue is you’re paying for a “luxury” apartment, but in reality it’s not. The cabinets have stick on paint that give the illusion of being black but it’s really a light beige cabinet underneath. I live in the bottom floor and it’s the 3rd time i’m having flooding issues due to the same appliance. I genuinely believed this a known issue considering it’s occurred more than once. Some concierge staff aren’t pleasant and communication here is poor.

I love the apartment but there are many residents that don’t follow simple rules such as not smoking in apartments or garage. People are loud and you can hear everything specially if the apartment faces the pool where people have loud music and parties all the time.

So far my experience has been neutral. I chose this complex based off location and safety. I like how they have high technology (key fobs for entrance & automatic garage). One thing I’ve noticed is that despite it being a “luxury apartment” the quality isn’t completely luxury. For instance, it’s apparent that the drawers & cabinets have black peel and stick wall paper? and the oven isn’t new or clean.

The Esplanade is not only a great place to live, it's a wonderful experience. Great location, full-service building, good customer service, and every weekend feels like a vacation.

The Esplanade is a unique community in the sense that it sits right in the heart of National Harbor. As a resident you have access to multiple bars, restaurants, and shopping stores daily. Although there isn't a large supermarket nearby, you have the Potomac Gourmet Market directly across the street and a few supermarkets outside of the Harbor that are less than 15 minutes away by car. Be sure to check social media or the community bulletins for weekly events. These will keep you informed on any upcoming events happening in the neighborhood for planning purposes.

Excellent service and support from staff. Jessica at the Concierge desk is extremely personable and feels like an extended family. She knows my family and me by name and is extremely responsive to our needs and requests. Michael and Eboni are also great and always have the best attitudes, as is the maintenance team. We love it here and couldn't ask for a better team!

The Esplanade is a wonderful place to live. Not only is the location great at National Harbor, the people who work here are very responsive and friendly especially Jessica Marrett who works at the concierge's desk and the leasing office. Great supportive team!!

My residency started at The Esplanade National Harbor in 2015, shortly after It was opened for occupancy. My original excitement about living here has changed due to uncertainty about the safety and security the facility. Because of the Coronavirus 19 crisis...I've witnessed the changes to the concept of the National Harbor and it's operations, which is trending negatively. Nevertheless, I must say that regardless of the uncertainty of the management, The Concierge Services and Maintenance has done a lot to serve and maintain the confidents of the residents. Last but not least, I am a 100% disabled Veteran. I am totally disappointed that this property has only but once acknowledged Veteran's Holiday (except in 2019 when I went to the management office and pleaded for the recognition because there were a few veterans and military service members residing here who also voiced their disappointment). However, holidays such as Xmas...Halloween ...Easter....St. Patrick's Day... are all celebrated here with emotions. Totally disappointed!!!

The Esplanade Apts at National Harbor, beautifully located near the Potomac River, is a very attractive living option for adults if all ages (including retirees!)with loads of onsite and offsite property amenities. The property is managed by C. Stroman who values and promotes only the highest and best community living standards in each of her team members. From the Facilities Manager, J. Pratt, who, along with his dynamic team (John and Kevin) ensures that the building is safe, secure, clean, and efficiently operating, to S. Palumbo, who is highly responsive and assists with building managment, to other members of the Leasing Office such as the Concierge team (including Jessica, Pam, & Veronica), they are all eager to support and ensure happy living at The Esplanade Apts.

Since moving here three (3) weeks ago, so far, we have found that The Esplanade Managment & Leasing Office, Concierge, and Maintenance Teams are unified, professional, and eager and quick to offer assistance or respond to our individual needs. Team members Sarah, Jessica, Jacquelyn, Veronica, Tanesha have all been kind and helpful to us as we adjust to retirement and apartment life. Likewise, Mr. Pratt, and his maintenance crew, Kevin and John, have been courteous and especially responsive to our requests and strive for excellent customer services. Even Crystal, the property manager, has taken time from her busy day to ensure that we are genuinely happy in our new home.

I have been a resident of the luxury apartments at the Esplanade on the National Harbor for 5 months. It has been a wonderful experience. The warm community style living creates the opportunities to meet and get to know your neighbors. The amenity space has something for everyone: golf simulator, billiards, hibachi, wet bars, a business center, fireplace, beautiful outdoor courtyard with a swimming pool, and Apple TV on flat screens throughout. Our community is supported by a professional and friendly staff. There are multiple apartment floor plans and sizes. Take a tour and see for yourself.

This is a great apartment, in an amazing location. The staff is very friendly and helpful, excellent amenities, resort style living. Always something to do. The right price for all of the wonderful amenities and excellent service. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. The location is perfect -- you can hop on 295 or 95 in seconds and it's only 5 minutes to Old Town. The Esplanade can't be beat.

The Esplanade is a luxurious apartment complex with top-rated amenities, great-looking apartments, friendly & efficient staff. You have everything you could possibly need - fully-equipped gym, gorgeous pool, patio with lounge seating & grill, business office, beautiful recreation room with a pool table, wide screen TV & golf simulation. The management knows how to take care of the residents. We always recommend it to our friends.

It is the most unique environment. Coming from a person who just lost her husband after 20 years marriage and living in huge home for 15 of 20, and now having to down size learn to live in close quarters, I believe I have chosen the best choice I could make in starting my new normal as single and struggling but I feel the comfortable elegant and intriguing quiet and friendly will give me the privacy I seek when needed and the social atmosphere also necessary to help me to relax and obtain a the quality of life I am seeking while heal and move forward with my life. As scary as this feels after 20 years in a relationship. This apartment feels like a new beginning. I will find it here as they have so much to offer the tenant that is lucky to live there.
