Property Ratings at Efm Property Management
EFM Apartments are full of roaches! Neighbors scratch cars and it takes Frank and Brandon forever to check the cameras to the point that footage are overwritten! Before I evacuate, I ask them to send an inspector! They never sent one, then they billed me for full painting “claiming” I have made lots of scratches everywhere! I did not even have a single nail on the wall! BIG LIARS!!!! Rents go up annually just like a newly arrival tenants! EFM is a rip off, they just pretend to be nice to you, but when you give one month notice they totally change!!! If you are already a tenant, please make sure the send inspector before you evacuate...
Frank and Branden illegally withheld my security deposit and did not provide sufficient documentation why they did so. When I moved into the apartment at 1826 12th st. there was significant mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The previous tenant informed me that it was an issue with the building's ventilation and that she would clean regularly, as did I. When I finally moved out, I was told that the majority of my security deposit would be withheld in order to repair molding in the wall. Even though Frank knew this was a problem before I moved in, he chose to pin the issue on me and swindle me out of my deposit. The receipts I received were not itemized, unclear, and included repair far beyond any mold that may have accumulated during my time in the building. It is disgrace that someone can charge so much for such poor quality of facilities. I'm sure I'm not the first person that EFM properties has taken advantage of, and I'd like to help others to not receive this same treatment.
