A Updated From Someone Here Currently!

I also used this site to make my decision on which properties I wanted to go with and not having any updates reviews from anyone currently living at any of properties I was looking into during my search was frustrating and super not helpful. I have seen the reviews on how clean or dirty the property is as well as the staff and everyone's experience. My experience I speak about in my review is my experience from my side of the complex I live on which is the back and back here, it's clean and cleaned daily and it's quiet. I haven't been around the whole property to speak on how every inch or space of the property is but, I do go to the mailbox which is at the front attached to the leasing office and pool and even then in that area and around that area it's always been clean and quiet. Also, please know and this from my own experience period from NJ every property eventually changes ownership as well as management and like Fat Joe said Yesterday Prices aren't Today's Prices it's the same for management, what yesterdays management did or did not do, is not what today's management will do or will not do. So far experience with them has been nothing but, amazing and respectful and very protective of me considering they're aware I came here from NJ with no one out here but, my fiance who's a OTR driver. There hasn't been a work order that I have put in that wasn't answered to the following day ( Early Morning The Next Day By The Way :( ) and my issue fixed then and there. My apartment is beautiful and comfortable, even tho this wasn't what I said I wanted because I wanted the one with fireplace but, none the less I am in love with my space. I just want more closets it's the spoiled side of me because I have one closet in the room and one in the bathroom. Overall I am happy with where I'm at love Rebecca and Marisol for taking care of me and being protective of me.

Don't do it

The noise level is terrible , It seems like everybody has a boom box in their car and that don't mind blasting it all times of day and night, Residents need to be introduced to the garbage dumpster because they rather prefer to throw garbage of the window of their car, My apartment is nice and spacious but I can't enjoy it because of what's going on outside . I am definitely moving once my lease is up .

Very happy living here!

The property managers and maintenance people here are great! They care about the people living here. They clean the property clean and safe. I have a nice fenced in area for my puppies to play. Most people here with dogs do pick their poop. Kids play outside and shouldn't have to worry about stepping in dog poop. All of my neighbors are friendly. This is home for me.

The Crescent

This are the worst apartments I've ever lived in. They have raccoons on the property and gets into your fireplace. We were in the kitchen and it sounded as if the raccoon was in the cabinets. They were in the attic. They tell you they have 24 hr maintenance but they don't never come out. The management here are horrible. RUN you do not want to live here unless your okay with living with raccoons and don't mind the horrible customer service you receive from the management team, which changes ever 3 months.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

Please don't be fool by the cheap rent and Rachel's customer service....because I was fooled also. These people do NOT care about your safety what so ever! My apartment was robbed 2 weeks ago... they came in THROUGH THE ATTIC!!! Every apartment upstarts has an attic door in the bedroom closet. None of the apartments have firewalls, so its one big open space in the attic. Someone came through from another apartment, through my attic, and walked out with all my electronics, including a 55 inch TV, THAT WAS MOUNTED ON THE WALL! And of course "NO ONE SAW ANYTHING"....The manager, Which is the WORST landlord I every had, didn't apologize until a week later. She said they nailed it back close and there's nothing else they can do about it. There are no working cameras on the property, except at the office of course. They would not let me out of my lease, which i only had 1 month left. You may think these apartments are the safest in the area, but NONE of these apartments are!! No sympathy from the office what so ever. If you can find a better place, please do so...as I am looking now.

Villa Serena Management does in fact care a great deal about the safety of our residents. This is why we work hard to make sure our gates work and repair them as timely as possible when they get hit by vehicles or malfunction. Shortly after taking over The Crescent, we installed more secure strike plates on all entry doors to make them much harder to kick in or break into. Our staff also attends monthly PIP meetings provided by HPD which help educate staff and provide crime statistics to keep us informed and help us with crime prevention. We have strict screening criteria and run thorough background checks on all applicants. If a guest or visitor of a resident is the cause of illegal, violent, or aggressive behavior, we hold the resident accountable and serve them with a notice to vacate. We also have a great deal of sympathy for any resident who is the victim of a crime and we understand that is a scary, frustrating, and extremely disturbing experience. All of that being said our sympathy does not equate to releasing someone from their lease. A TAA lease is a binding legal contract, for which it is our duty and obligation to enforce to the end of the lease term. Even though, crime knows no address and can occur anywhere, at anytime, and we do all that we can to foster a comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable environment in which to live, we can certainly understand if a resident were to opt not to renew their lease, after an experience such as the one described by this resident.

I love this apartment, it is very peaceful. We have security I feel very safe. When you need something fix they come right away. I recommend this apartment

The Crescent

I just recently moved in my apartment and I was very hesitant because of the area. but I like my are very convenient to my job. The apartment is very spacious for the price. The apartment staff are very helpful and nice. The staff was there to answer every question and concern I had and very knowledgeable. My overall experience with the staff was very pleasant and I would recommend others. The area is improving so don't the surroundings change your decision.

Office Greeter

I am not sure of the title of the receptionist, but she was extremely professional and polite. The apartments shown were very nice, but the price for what I need was over my budget. Everyone was very professional. Maintenance Service is unknown due to a lack of time spent on the premises, but everything seemed to be in order.
