Established in 1903, Barcroft is a historic neighborhood located between Arlington Boulevard to the north and Columbia Pike to the south. It is bordered on the west side by Four Mile Run and extends east to George Mason Drive. Tree-lined sidewalks adorn this storybook neighborhood, complete with manicured lawns and historic architecture. The heart of Barcroft is the 1908 Barcroft Community House. Originally designed as a chapel, the house was later converted into a one-room schoolhouse – the only one remaining in Arlington.

I love staying here at Centro Arlington. The apartments are very nice and functional. I love the new look in the lobby and the new carpet in the hallways. And, the rooftop is my favorite spot to grill and chill.

Losing the grocery store is a big loss, pool area isn't as clean, the upstairs patio is always dirty and the loading dock is always full with trash and smells horrible.

Centro Arlington really has everything you could need. The building is always spotless, the space is modern, and there’s super convenient on-site parking and shops. The building has great amenities like study spaces, bike storage, Tide dry cleaning, a full gym, and a beautiful pool. Centro has changed a lot over the past few years, but it still is a safe and relatively clean building on Colombia Pike. Some of the newer residents have reduced the overall friendly atmosphere, but overall it is a good place for the price.

I was a recent out of state transplant who had a very limited window to find a new apartment in the area. Caleb A. with the Centro leasing team was able to assist me in getting everything setup and processed for a short notice new lease and move-in. I had crammed in a dozen apartment visits in the area in just a few days and Centro was conveniently located just a few minutes away from the Pentagon with a buffer between some of the more congested areas of Arlington. The ground floor businesses and other Amenities of the location cannot be beat. Of all of the selling points behind this Apartment, the Gym was the biggest. It was easily the nicest with the best assortment of free weights, racks, and equipment.

Centro Arlington is an awesome place to live. I love it here and can't imagine living anywhere else. I moved in on 11/2019 and the apartment still looks like it did when I moved in. Living at Centro Arlington is going to be one of the best decisions you can make while living close to DC. The management is helpful. The apartment is clean. There’s a Harris teeter downstairs for your needs, vet clinic for your pets, and it’s overall in a pretty nice spot when it comes to living.

I have been here for a year and half at Centro. The staff has always been helpful and the apartment and amenities are great. Love this place. I just recently submitted a work order for maintenance and they fixed the same day.

I have only lived here for about a month, but the community seems very nice. There is not total silence, but that is to be expected given the area. All appliances seem to work at the best of their capability and so far have no complaints!

I have toured over a dozen apartment complexes, and Centro has stood head and shoulders above them all! My leasing agent has been Austin, who is worth his weight in gold. His knowledge, attention to detail, and perfect blend of professionalism and relatability has been delightful. He is thorough with his answers and addressed all my concerns. I actually toured twice, and he remembered certain details from my first visit that made me feel seen and heard! If you want to live somewhere that you'll feel valued, Centro is it. Through my apartment search I have been worried about "taking a gamble" and landing somewhere where I'll have problems or be unhappy where I end up. I have absolutely NO hesitations or fears moving into Centro, and that's a beautiful feeling to have. I will update this review as I finish the move-in process, any thoughts I have while living here, and about my move-out process (whenever that will be) as well. I relied heavily on reviews as I made my search, so I just want to return the favor here.

I moved into Centro at the height of COVID in March. I love my apartment and i have no issues. The walls are thin but its no different from other apartments ive lived in and it doesn't bother me. The pool and gym was the biggest selling point for me. I was thrilled that management was able to open both!! Special shoutout to Ashley and Portia for making my stressful and scary move, smooth and hiccupp free.

The walls and floors are soooo thin! I hear everything from my neighbors upstairs and next door to me. I mean, hearing the persons next door conversation. And they are not even yelling or loud. Ive caught other residents fighting in the hallways about all the noise coming through. Also the garage is filty and makes your car dirty, elevator constantly broken, and more recently property management sent out an email about cracking in peoples apartment and having the construction company come out to repair. Again for a brand new building and the price, it's extremely disappointing. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!
