Property Ratings at Celtic Apartments
First the pros: The new office lady sherry is a doll. She’s very friendly and so are the maintenance people. It does take them a while to get things done sometimes but it gets done. It’s peaceful at night during the weekdays. The community laundry stays open pretty late which I great! The courtyard is what looks nice. And UTILITIES ARE FREE The cons: The music and the amount of drunk guys during the weekend is terrible. The only time I don’t feel safe walking here is when it’s weekend nights. I see old dudes pissing by the wood fence and the smell is horrible. Also the amount of guys that stare creepily here is overwhelming. The kids are loud sometimes but it’s not that bad. The apartments are kind of falling apart from the inside. The apartments are pretty old and full of rats. When the neighbors moved our house got infested with roaches. The trash sometimes piles up. There is also a lot of trash all over the place and it takes a while for them to clean it up. The people here also can’t mind their business. We see a lot of middle schoolers smoking weed as well. Overall: this is an okay place to live in but you don’t get what you pay for.
Ever since our manager Sherie has been here she gave the apartments a better looking,They are now clean and very nice looking . She stays working very late to make sure everything is okay with our people. She is very kind and all the kids respect her and love her. There is no need to tell sherie things twice she fixes anything at the moment . Sherie always makes sure kids are safe and that we are in peace at our homes . Thank you Sherie !!!!!!
With the new manager we have a better service. I have 7 years living here and there are many complaints, and are we very good with Mrs. Sherry? thank you for all your help
I love my manger Mrs cherry. She is so sweet and since she been here she has change the hold apartments. We now have police patrol . sometimes she work late to make sure our apartments loot more appealing now because of her. So a big thanks to my manger Mrs. Cherry.
Sherie is amazing. Before she came this place was honestly a mess. People would blast loud music 24/7, drink beer outside all the time, and there would be many altercations. This place was also really trashed, the big garbage can would always be overfilled, people would just urinate everywhere and management would do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This place wasnt safe. Under new management now, theres no loud music blasting 24/7, people dont just sit around and drink beer, the place is also much cleaner and the laundry room has never been better. Before I couldn't even wash my clothes because the washers and dryers were just so nasty. Now I can wash my clothes and dry them without them comimg out smelling like funk! She also connects with the clients/community allot better. She has done allot to improve this place. The complex has been repainted and are working to give it a new and better look now. The complex now brings liveliness!
A very tremendous change since the new manager took over( Sherie). The new manager( Sherie) and the maintaince guy have done a good job. It's been few months but we have seen a very big difference. She attends to the needs of the clients very quick, anything that needs to be fixed , she don't delay. The complex is very clean, compared to before. The whole complex has now lighting's, which is of great help esp when one is coming at night. I like the new paintings, the compound looks very attractive now. The complex used to be very noisy on weekends, not anymore. She has been able to minimize that. We have peace on weekends. I know within a year, oaklawn will be different and even more better , with the new management. Good job. I think the new manager talent is to transform, and that's what I see transformation. Keep up.
This neighborhood and the surrounding area is awful. Since we have moved here, we have had nothing but bad experiences. The neighborhood always looks trashy and disgusting. People loitering, drinking beer and smoking weed right outside of our apartment since the first few days we lived here. Nothing has been done about it. There is always loud music. Like, literally all the time. Especially at night on the weekends. Some kids broke our window, and they expect for us to pay for it. It still hasn't been fixed. Our car has been vandalized 4 times in the last 2 months. People just sit around and drink beer and stare at you over here. Creepy old guys urinating in public. I have come across several shell casings while just taking out the trash. There are no gates, so any sketchy character can walk in and out of this neighborhood at any time, and they do. They raised the rent after 6 months [and to be fair, that was because we moved in under a special] but it honestly isn't worth what we were paying originally. The list keeps going. Save yourself the trouble and find a better place to live. This place is disgusting and we cannot wait to leave.
Dont like where i live. neighboord would play music till 4 am in the morning all volume up. Theres always a fight on weekend nights! Ac is leaking all the time! very dangerous. and its never fixed
