Hill is a historic neighborhood adjacent to Downtown New Haven and Yale University. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Hill features a wide range of apartments and condos for rent that reflects its history dating back to the 1800s. There are rentals available for every budget, but Hill is known for its relatively lower rates. The neighborhood also maintains its quaint charm with several mom-and-pop restaurants scattered around the area. Along with being near Yale University, Hill is home to several parks and medical facilities including Yale New Haven Hospital Emergency Room and Yale School of Medicine. Hill is also convenient to the University of New Haven and Yale’s western campus. Hill is within walking distance of downtown, but the bus system will also take you into the heart of the city and other hotspots.

Property Ratings at Aura at City Crossing
Toss out that alarm clock!! Don’t worry…you won’t need it living here. I am a travel nurse and have lived in countless apartments. This is the LOUDEST place I have ever lived. Oh..and they throw in a nice added fee for short term even though it’s right by the hospital. Not travel nurse friendly at all. Not “Luxury” at all. It’s giving dorm vibes.
They are building an apartment complex in the parking lot directly behind this building. The construction is so bad that it shakes the entire building, up to the top floor. RMS Management says construction will occur M-F from 7am to 6pm and Saturdays 8am to 6pm for the next 16 months.
Building is new, with clean and new apartments but they are not well insulated. You can hear street noise all the time, as well as light (you will need to buy and fix your own blackouts in order to sleep). They advertise coffee machines for residents which never works!
