Great location- terrible management! They do not care about their residents. I’ve been here for 2 yrs and during this past year we’ve been without water and electricity for a 1.5 weeks, flooding damage from above units with no corporation from management and they’ve been renovating/fixing damages for 6 months. The latest complaint - they’re painting the hallways so all our doors are taped shut and of you get out of your door you enter a cloud of paint smoke. This place isn’t worth the price

The community is well kept, but management team needs improvement. Very unsatisfactory.

I would not recommend 7east given their inability to provide safe living conditions.
7East is the best place I have lived in Austin. The staff is great, there are tons of well maintained amenities, and the culture and location can't be beat. You are within walking distance of so many great spots, but tucked just far enough back to still feel private and not constantly surrounded by people. I love it!

Good location with access to trendy bars and dining, standard amenities for anything built since 2012. While you do have to pay for access to the garage, there’s plenty of parking. Although, I don’t recommend parking on the lower gated level as that gate is often left open and has resulted in alleged theft from other residents. And despite there being a gated access garage, there have been a couple of car break-ins since I’ve lived here. There’s a dog run/Park, but it doesn’t smell great and a lot of the residents just let their dogs go out there to bark at other dogs. While I’ve never heard my next door neighbors, I’ve experienced continuous and daily disruption from not one, but two upstairs tenants. Being right on a busy road and the consequence of what appears to be shoddy construction have resulted in a lot of noise. It is by far the biggest drawback and worst part of the apartment. If you’re not on a top floor, it’s likely you’ll end up with an inconsiderate upstairs neighbor who stomps around non-stop. Management is responsive to complaints but not helpful as after a year they’ve been unable to mitigate the noise issues from above. The solution was to move me to another unit that far exceeds my current rent and completely unrealistic. If you’re near a door leading to the exterior you’ll also hear your neighbors going in and out as the doors squeak and slam. Maintenance is quick and does a decent job. Could be more professional and better about cleaning up after repairs are made. I’m on the second level and encounter a lot of dirt, cobwebs and other less than pleasant things toward the end of hallways and in corners. The building was finally able to resolve the missing and undeliverable package issue by installing package lockers. When I first moved in, there were a couple of cool businesses operating in the retail space below the apartments, all of those have since closed or changed service direction. But as I first mentioned, this area is walkable with lots of great things in close proximity. Overall, I would strongly recommend considering other apartments if you’re looking to rent for more than a couple of months.

Per our offline conversations, I am more than happy to continue to work to a resolution in hopes of making your stay more enjoyable. With all apartment living, especially in a busy city like ours, reasonable living noise is something that should be expected. We are happy to now have Amazon lockers on-site. This is a big relief to us all as our carries put packages in the lockers for the resident to have 24-hour access. Exciting news for our retail spaces and we are looking to bring new business in that will benefit not only the growing east side but our residents. We are excited for Apt 115 to be opening as well as Avery?s now offering a plethora of resident services, from dog walking to grocery shopping! Again, we appreciate you taking the time to review our community and hope I have addressed some of your concerns. I would definitely appreciate the chance to meet with you in person. We have lived here for a little over 6 months and absolutely love it. The building is brand new and in the perfect location on the Eastside. We can walk to so many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, or even downtown. We didn't know much about the location when we first visited, but the leasing office staff is amazing and a large part of the reason we moved here. The Property Manager Brenda showed us around the first time and she is awesome. We had so much fun touring the building and talking to her. The rest of the office staff, Summer and Michael, are also great and so fun to talk to whenever we are down in the leasing office. I also recently sold my car so now I use Car2Go all the time. There may not be parking on 7th Street, but there is plenty of street parking just one block over on Robert Martinez or Hidalgo. I have never come home and not been able to park the Car2Go on those streets. If you are looking for a smaller community, where you will actually meet some of your neighbors at the great resident events, then I would highly recommend this apartment building. I have lived at 7East for about six months. The building is great and the office staff is fantastic. They have stayed late so I could come pick up a package after work. They are very quick to respond to maintenance requests. They also organize community events at local restaurants with free food and drinks. These events are a great way to meet your neighbors. I have never known so many of my neighbors as I do here. The gym, pool, and club room are really nice and never crowded. There is plenty of secured parking for residents and then there is guest parking on the first level. If the guest lot is full there is plenty of free street parking on Robert Martinez Rd. The location of the building is amazing. You can walk everywhere. I highly recommend living here.
