The apartment overlooks the lake and includes use of a beautifully landscaped patio on the water, dock, lawn fire place, grill. This is perfect Isthmus living. Many recent upgrades were made to a classic, turn-of-the-century house. The kitchen was completely redone with granite counter tops, new cabinets, gas stove, built-in microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and higher end appliances and fixtures. The hardwood floors have all been refinished and set off the dark wood trim beautifully. The house is newly re-sided, with new insulation and weatherproofing to make this a very comfortable home. The apartment faces south-east and gets lots of light. You're on a quiet cul-de-sac in a very vibrant neighborhood. You're welcome to garden in the front yard, if you'd like. Of course the gem of the place is the lake. It gives you instant access to fun all four seasons: entertaining and relaxing on the deck during the summer, skiing and skating in the winter, and the continuous change of the seasons in between. You're welcome to store a kayak or canoe for easy access from the dock. The neighborhood is amazing too. You're close to Orton Park, the Yahara river, and all the usual Willie St. area attractions. There is night life, grocery stores, excellent breakfast, and entertainment all within a short walk. . . along with so many other options! I counted 23 restaurants within three-blocks up and down Willie St! There's laundry on site and lockable bike storage available under the porch. It's street parking, but parking nearby is easy to find. Heat is included. The apartment is non-smoking only.
