Silver Springs Apartments is in poor condition with dirt in the place of grass. The community is supposed to be gated and require access cards but all the walk through gates are constantly being propped open by rocks. During our inspection, there were many sketchy people walking around and congregating all around the property and in the office. Stray cats wander around and about the property and in the parking lot. The stairs are steep and spaced far apart making it difficult to walk up and down them for fear of falling. The property is lacking maintenance, landscaping, and neatness. There are upgrades available in a few units with black appliances and a stainless steel sink but cabinet and counter space are both extremely limited. The property sits in front of a heavily wooded area. The bedrooms and bathroom are average size with the master bathroom having the sink and vanity separate from the toilet and tub/shower. The walls on the outside of the buildings are dingy and dirty. There are some parts of the property with green grass but much of the property instead has dirt and rocks.
